"Called AJUMP to order memory. They advised me the memory they sold me would work in my ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe mobo. It did not. I sent my MOBO to a repair shop ($30), back to Monarch Comp ($30), purchased a new vid card, case, power supply, ($550). I then tried some memory I had from a previous computer that was compatable and the system worked. I used the memory checker and found out they sold me incompatable memory. I tried to exchange the non working memory, but Ajump would not take it back or trade it in even though they sold it too me. "

"I purchased an Impression 17" LCD / DVI flat screen monitor with TV tuner from AJUMP.COM.
Monitor was received within expected delivery time and packaging was very good. I connected monitor to PC using the DVI connector and proceeded to boot up into the BIOS. Error stating that there was no digital input. No matter what I tried it would not boot to BIOS.
If I used the analog connection it would boot to BIOS and to windows OK. If I had wanted an analog interface only, then I would have purchased a different monitor. I have an ATI 9800 256MB video card that supports a digital interface. I contacted ATI to see if there were any issues with my video card and DVI monitors which there was not. I tested a Samsung SyncMaster 710T LCD with DVI borrowed from a friend and it functioned perfectly when attached to my PC. I then called AJUMP customer service and spoke with their representative who was pleasant but not at all technical. I persisted that the monitor was defective and requested to RMA it.
He agreed after a number of phone discussions and emails and I shipped the monitor at my cost ($35) to AJUMP. Here is where things went south. AJUMP stated that the monitor was not defective and since it was within 30 days they would give me a refund minus a 15% restocking fee and no shipping reimbursement. If I wanted a replacement they would send the same defective monitor back to me, charge me for shipping and no reimbursement for my shipping costs. I did not want a defective monitor back and when I wanted to know how the monitor was tested the once friendly customer service rep. turned into a repetitive trained monkey with the same dialogue about a 15% restocking fee and no information on the testing criteria. After becoming tired and irritated with this jerk I agreed to have them send me a monitor back (not knowing if they would send a good one or defective one). Well, they were quick to debit my credit card for the shipping charges, but not with delivering the goods. No contact with AJUMP and no monitor after a month has nearly passed. I am working with my credit card company on a merchant dispute. As far as I am concerned AJUMP has ripped me off for near $500 and I strongly recommend that potential customers stay away from doing business with AJUMP.COM. "

"I placed an order on the 12th for a thermaltake athlon 64 heatsink fan. I received an email from an ajump.com CSR stating my shipping address was not on file with my credit card issuer and my order would be canceled if they did not hear from me. Ofcourse my mailing address has been on file with my card issuer for over a year. I even included the customer service number for my mastercard during the checkout process. I called them and simply repeated all the information I provided with my order and shortly after I receive another email stating they had "verified" my address. I've placed orders with several online vendors and never had this problem before.

One week later UPS drops off the heatsink/fan. The outside box is in perfect condition, but when I open it the fan on the heatsink is smashed. It would take a great deal of force to smash an 80mm fan like this so it was obvious it was packed that way at their warehouse or the manufacturer. It could easily be seen through the clear package. I call to RMA the part and after explaining it is damaged the rep puts me on hold. When he comes back I'm told "well, you can file a claim with UPS...". I refused because UPS was not at fault the outside box was in great condition. I'm put on hold again and then told to go to the website and file an RMA request. I didn't have access to a computer because my old machine died and I was in the middle of ordering all the parts for a new system. Then I was told there was no way to do an RMA over the phone. Finally I get the rep to take down my information and do the RMA, because I really didn't want to go to the library or borrow a friends computer just to submit a return. I'm then told I will receive an email from ajump.com in 24-48 hours with the RMA number and instructions. So I still have to get access to a computer to check my email. I will have to pay shipping and a restocking fee to return the $26 heatsink/fan. Apparently they don't consider physical damage done before shipping to be their responsibility.

I'm going to just order a new one from newegg or excaliberpc and let ajump.com deal with my credit card company. I'm surprised they have a decent resellerrating, this is definately the worst experience I've had with an online retailer.

ajump, Ajump.com rep has responded

“ Ajump.com has no way to acknowledge if customers have ship-to address on file or not. We can only call the customer's merchant bank and then inform customer based on merchant bank's reply. If customer's merchant bank made a mistake and provided incorrect information, Ajump.com should not be responsible and take the blame.

Ajump.com only sells brand new products unless otherwise stated. We always try our best to provide our customers the best and most satisfying shopping experience. Unfortunately, accidents do happen. Whenever damaged items are found at receiving, it is not up to manufacturer or Ajump or the customer to determine whether it has been damaged in transit. According to our agreement and Terms and Conditions, damaged items need to be reported to shipping carrier first, in this case UPS. UPS will inspect the product if necessary and determine who will be responsible. Once a shipping claim is filed, Ajump.com will ship out the replacement or process the refund within 24 hours. We regret that the customer has refused to cooperate with us.

Ajump.com already filed a shipping claim with the carrier and will refund the customer as requested. ”

"FIRST OF ALL, BEWARE THOSE WHO WANT TO BUY TAGAN FROM THEM.

I've purchased Tagan 480W PSU from Ajump. Price was reasonable, and shipping was fast. However, the PSU had huge problem from the beginning. "VOIDED IF REMOVED" warranty sticker has been cut. Yes, it was clearly cut right out of the box. (FYI, it was not only me, but many people got theirs with sticker cut. You may easily find bunch of post about the experience on the web) I didn't think Ajump or Tagan cut it for their own advantage. That's what I basically thought. But here comes a funny part. It was DOA. What a coincident. Now, I have to waste my own money to send it back for RMA, which I am not even sure they will allow.

Ajump.com is "OFFICIAL U.S. DISTRIBUTOR" of Tagan. I believe Ajump also has responsibility as well as Tagan. I will see how everything will go from now on, but I am sure I am very disappointed with Tagan now. I've only heard good things about Tagan before, but from now on, maybe I have to name them fraud. We will see."

ajump, Ajump.com rep has responded

“We apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused our customers. Ajump has no intentions of sending our customers defective units with broken warranty stickers, however certain matters are sometimes out of our control. The power supplies are packaged and sealed by the manufacturer and we do not open any of the packages. To rectify the matter, we have brought this to the attention of our vendor and are continually working with them to prevent anymore customers from receiving these power supply units with broken warranty stickers. We have also issued this customer an RMA for another unit.”

"The following email was sent to AJUMP after recieving a damaged product.

I just opened the packing box of my shipment. The product was shipped in a
too small box with all packing material underneath the product box and no
packing material between the most fragile part of the product box and the
outer box - product cpu processor was found removed from display mounting
within product box, with protective inner case open and part able to move
around causing damage to tiny motherboard mounting pins -their was no
damage to the outer shipping box - RMA has been requested through your
online form.

Please make sure the replacement item is in good shape, put the
replacement product in a box large enough to protect it and package it
with materials placed to fully protect the item.

The following is the response I recieved.

Dear Stanley,

We apologize for the delay in response to your email. However, we have reviewed your case and have determined that it is not possible for the processor to be removed from the display mount within the product box. AMD takes great effort in packaging their CPUs properly and securely as to prevent such incidents--even if the product box were to shift within a shipping box during transit.

With physical damages, Ajump may no longer extend any warranty. We apologize we can not be of further assistance at this time. If you feel that the processor was not securely packaged in its own box, you may contact the manufacturer direct at (408)749-3060 for further assistance.

Best regards,
Khang Pham

"Overall I was satisfied with Ajump, but there are a few things that I didn't like. First off I hate that each time I went to the "order status" page I was presented with a popup window asking me to review their site for Bizrate. The first time it was fine, but after I already took the time to fill out the review, it would be nice if it would stop bothering me with a popup window (no one likes popups). Also their prices are pretty high. The thing I ordered (A Linksys Wireless G Access Point) was decently priced, when the free shipping was taken into account, it was a good deal. But I also wanted to by a Linksys Wireless G PCI Network Card. Using some price comparison sites I had found it as low as $65, AJump was selling it for $89. Thats almost a 30% price difference. Obviously, I went and bought that item elsewhere. But all in all the service was good. I ordered this on Saturday, by Monday it was shipped, and by Tuesday it had arrived, nothing was damaged (although it was odd that it was in a FedEx box but it was delivered by UPS), but over all I am satisfied."

"I bought a Lian Li case and a Soyo mobo from them. My credit card company rejected the charge as suspicious but when I set things straight later that day, they said that ajump should have no problems. It turns out that the charge was rejected & since I left town that day on business, I didn't have a chance to check my personal email for several days. When I returned, I had to call long distance to talk to a customer service rep. I had the same problem with my order that day to newegg but newegg ran my card again without me needing to update them. My shippment from ajump is supposed to arrive on 11/20. Hopefully it will actually get here. The prices were good, especially on the case but I doubt that I will buy from them again."

"Great company. Shipped immediately. What else can I say?

The pop-up on their order tracking webpage was annoying, but easy to get over.

This is the second item that I've ordered from them and I've been quite satisfied both time. They have great prices and great service. "

"Super fast service. I ordered my motherboard on Sunday night, and it was at my house Wednesday afternoon. The box came FedEx and were no nicks or dings. I couldn't be more satisfied."
