"I purchased a NIKON D3100 camera January 10, 2013. The automatic flash does NOT pop up. I have tried contacting AJRICHIE through phone calls, emails, faxes, and a letter but have not been successful. I just hear music on the phone calls and all mail boxes I have attempted to leave a message are full. I want to know my options on having this camera fixed or replaced but I have not communicate with this company. "
"I would not want to buy anything here. I ordered camera and immediately i received a confirmation eamil and even after 8 days no sign of product. Decided to write an email with order number, again i recieved prompt reply saying order can take 10-14 bussiness days. so 10th day i called and to my surprise they say they don't have a product in stock. Unbelievable. On the same day i ordered there were plenty of sales on other site but i choose these useless richies. There are no sales now i need to pay more caz of these unbelievable reasons."
"I am disappointed with the service and customer support, contact/ confirmation from AJRichie. I ordered a Nikon D5200 body only on Nov. 25, 2013 and got a web conf #, with confirmation email to follow. That confirmation email never came. I called twice, a week apart, to learn the status of my order and was told It was being processed and I would receive a confirmation # and tracking # within 24 hours. That never happened. I also emailed twice which i received no responses to. It has been 13 days since I placed the order with no follow through or performance, I canceled my order today. "
"Big problems with my order. I ordered a Nikon camera D5200 and paid for it. I had to call five times over more than 20 days, but was continually told it was going to be shipped "right away" and it never came. Wasted a ton of my time on calls and on hold only to leave me waiting, without a camera for weeks and then finally tell me they were "waiting" on some to come in. Will never ever use AJRitchie again and will definitely encourage my friends to avoid this hassle as well. "

"Before the internet one looked at photo magazine advertisements then called the company to order. Since the magazine ads were two or months old one immediately got into an negotiation on price. These negotiations were as complex aqs buying an automobile. Nowadays one orders from the internet and expects the order to be shipped, and expects to obtain an invoice and shipping tracking numbers by E-mail. It appears taht AJ Ritchies still does business the old way, but if you stick to your guns you can probably get a good price out of them. I got a email saying something was wrong with my order, and when I called they claimed the camera I ordered did not have a battery, even though the description said it did. I wanted an extra battery so I agreed to buy a US camera with a battery and added a battery to the order. There was no email confirmation of the order taht gave a list of what I ordered, only a email statement that it had been shipped, but no tracking info. When I got the order it did not have the extra battery and I was charged the full amount, but the invoice, which I had never seen before receiving the orider, did not have the extra battery on it, but did have the full price. The descriiptions in the web site appear to be inaccurate or someone is lying in the order process. They need to update their order process. After writing this review I got a call from them saying they will send the battery. I did get teh battery and they threw in a UV filter. I raised the rating to three but can't go higher as I should not have had the problem in the first place. Again, they did make good on the complaint. "
