"I purchase a Soleus Portable air conditioner from air-n-water. It was shipped to my home in Deerfield Beach Florida. From the first time it was turned on it did not work properly. Contacting Soleus's tech people did not solve the issue. Did they stand behing it? Of course they did, as long as I shipped it back to California...for almost $250 in shipping costs. The item was $367 to purchase. They offered no help in the shipping charges. It was cheaper for me to pay an air conditioning technician to come up and fix it. BEWARE"
The cost to return a DEFECTIVE product is on the consumer. Purchased a NewAir AW-320ED NewAir Dual Zone Thermoelectric Wine Cooler in Sept 2011 and it no longer keeps its temps. Coldest it will go is 51 degrees and fan runs 24 hours a day. Called to return or have it repaired and was told $90.00 to ship it tp them so they could send me a new one.
