It was shipped to my home in Deerfield Beach Florida.<br>From the first time it was turned on it did not work properly. Contacting Soleus\u0027s tech people did not solve the issue. Did they stand behing it? Of course they did, as long as I shipped it back to California...for almost $250 in shipping costs. The item was $367 to purchase. They offered no help in the shipping charges. It was cheaper for me to pay an air conditioning technician to come up and fix it. This one died within 4 months. They obviously sell Chinese pieces of crap. I had to pay to return the defective unit as well to have the replacement unit sent to me. Item didn\u0027t ship for 8 days, and when it did, FedEx botched the delivery. I initiated a search for the machine and also contacted Air N Water. Not only weren\u0027t they helpful, but, they didn\u0027t believe me when I told them that despite the correct address, FedEx did not attempt to deliver here and whoever they tried to deliver to refused the machine. Theoretically, Fed Ex has shipped the extractor back to the manufacturer. I am supposed to be grateful that they are not charging me a restocking fee despite the fact that I have repeatedly told everyone that I did not refuse shipment. I can prove that I was not in the area that day. What is worse, I am now supposed to wait to make sure that the machine reaches the manufacturer before I can get my refund. So far great The cold water has a thermostat if you like it very cold, the hot water has an on- off switch if you do not want it on, and they say the water has a stainless steel holder although you can\u0027t see it. The water also comes out quickly so you can fill your glass fast. The only odd item is the hot water handle which is child proof and works fine does not sit as tight as the cold handle actually have to squeeze 2 handles together. It does not have bells or whistles but 2 people already commented (unsolicited) that they thought it was nice looking. Very fast shipping, easy set up. I like that it is energy star rated, has a thermostat on the cold water, and has shut off button for the hot water so that i am not wasting heating the water when we will not be using it. "We purchased a portable heat pump about a year ago. About 6 months after the delivery of the unit the unit stopped working. We contacted the company and they sent us a new one. Now 6 months after receiving the replacement unit we are having problems again. This time the company will not stand by their product. They state that they have a year warranty but when it comes down to standing behind their product they are horrible."
