I ordered an Ikelite SLR housing and strobe set from them. They advise me via their on-line chat on what I needed from my camera. I was really amazed that the person on chat really knew what they were talking about and was not just someone to give you order details. I have never experienced this with other retails.

As I live in Australia I was concerned about shipping time and tax. I was amazed again when I got my order in four days from the West Coast of America and was in the water that day ready to go. Oh, and no import tax for equipment shipped to Australia as long as it is under $2000.00 USD.

 This could of turned out to be difficult. They were able to get the items to me quicker than my local store in Austalia shipping internationally. Simply amazing. Will use them again. Fred H."

"My comapny ordered a bulk order of electronic dictioanries from Aiko for vistors to our company from overseas. We were luck that Aikos office is five mintutes away. The order was hand delivered to our office with a few hours of ordering. WOW. Our guest were very happy with the product and we will do business with Aiko in the near future. Great service and decent people."

"Very poor service from this company. My husband ordered a camera case and they sent the wrong case. They won't respond to emails for us to return the product. I would be very wary of dealing with this company. "

"Th headphones I ordered for my husband's birthday arrived quickly and were well packed. Wow, the sound quality is amazing. It is good to see a retailer offer high-end product that are not available at most stores. It made for a special gift, and he was really happy with them. Ordering from AIKO and the checkout process were painless and really simple, and it arrived on time, which is always nice. I would definitely order from them again and already recommended them to friends."

"Lamp arrived quickly and in good condition. Was unable to source the panasonic manufactured lamp anywhere else. It arrived and was the real thing. Finally, a retailer that is not selling imitation lamps."

"Just leaving a review for others. I had a great experience ordering an underwater camera housing from Aiko. When I finally found someone who could obtain the product I was nearly out of time. I need this fast or I would lose the job. It worked out so I wanted to tell others who need a housing fast that it is possible when you deal with a company with good customer service. Robert stayed with me from the beginning. This housing came directly from Japan and I thought that it might not get to me on time, he promised that it would and it did. I thought it would be nearly impossible to get anything from Japan with all the problems there but this worked out very well and gave me a good return. I would use them again when I need another housing or anything else they sell that I can use.
They also sell video projector bulbs and I will keep that in mind.

"Checked this site before ordering. Dilemma. However, could not buy the item anywhere else. Took a chance. Ordered the Olympus housing for my dated camera. It worked out very well. The item came from Japan. That surprised me because of the earthquake. It came right away. The price was right considering I could not find it anywhere else. I contacted Aiko Trading to make sure they had it and received an email back from Robert. Now I wonder what is going on? I looked at other sites and company has good ratings. Puzzled. So I had to write this rating.

"I ordered an underwater housing for a video camera plus its handle on Friday last week. After receiving an email with order confirmation but no shipment status or tracking number, I've emailed them twice. Nor response.
I allowed two weeks (free shipment 5-12 days) but I just read the small print: 5 to 12 days from shipment date. No indication when it will be shipped and no response to my emails either. However, they have already charged my credit card for the full amount.
I made a mistake ordering from this company. I may have to contact the bank to dispute the charge."

"Ordered a Fantasea 5135 BigEye Lens, ordered on a Thursday with FREE shipping, was shipped Friday and arrived Monday morning from the Washington to Texas. Great communication with customer service when I inquired when the item will ship, received an answer within 2 hours."

"Long story short I sure wish I'd checked this site prior to ordering anything from Aiko Trading Company. After seveal unanswered emails and three weeks I finally recieved what I'd ordered.

Don't expect any customer support, it simply does not exist.

I sent an email to Fantasea, the manufacturer of the housing I ordered and got a response within 24 hours, on a SUNDAY!

Fantasea encouraged anyone having a problem with Aiko to contact them if the item you ordered was made by them.

Things would have been much easier if Robert had simply responed to my emails.

So if you're having problems with Fantasea products, send them an email, they were extremely responsive and helpful, maybe if enough of us complain Aiko will start providing some customer service."
