"The service is really horrible!!! This company only has one person that is in charge of online orders. No one else can help you for your online orders. And if you try to contact this person, the operator always transfer you to another person. That's not the worst thing. This person always left the company very early everyday. I called four times and finally got him. The company cancelled my order only because my cellphone number is from another state however they already charged my credit card. I didn't know this until I called. They even didn't have time to send me an email about the cancellation."

"Adray is just great shopping experience. Good prices, very friendly and knowledgeable staff (ask for Eric, great guy), and they are local to me, which is a big plus. Last year I bough Profoto 7b + 2 heads + Profoto Softlight (aka beauty dish). I got the best price I could find. One strobe had flash tube damaged which I found out after bringing everything home. Adray replaced everything the same day of course.
This week I bought Profoto AcuteB generator and Canon 5DII from them. Eric gave me $300 discount on the AcuteB and $50 on the 5DII. Cannot beat that!
They are authorized dealer for many brands and always stand behind their products. Returning items is never a problem - I returned Sekonic lightmeter last month, no questions asked.
They are not very well known, even though they have been in business for over 50 years. Give them a try. "
"I'm from NYC, and I'm used to purchasing my camera equipment from the Big Boys (B+H and Adorama). I buy from them because I know they have a real storefront, the prices are reasonable, and the service is trustworthy. After this first-time purchase, I'm willing to put Adray Camera in the same high category.
The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens for Nikon mount I was looking for was sold out at most reputable retailers, except those price-gouging over a hundred dollars above MSRP.
I finally found one in stock for a good price at Adray, which I had never heard of before. I did some research and found that they were a Michigan brick and mortar store, but was initially quite skeptical to see that they had scored 10.0 in 18/18 reviews. Although it sounded too good to be true, I'm happy to report that Adray deserves it.
I initially phoned in my order, but Adray advised me to purchase it online so I could take advantage of the internet-only free shipping offer. Adray also offered to put the lens on hold for me while I completed the transaction. It's rare that a company will find you ways to save money, but that's good service.
As Johns870 noted more than three years ago, their customer service rep, Don, is really amazing. When my credit card company initially questioned the transaction and the order was canceled, Don held the lens for me on his desk while I could call the credit card company to confirm the purchase. Afterwards, Don called me back to verify that the order had been approved, and it was shipped out that same day."
"Adray's is a real brick and mortar store -- I should know because I walk past their store nearly every day and have done business with them in person for over 50 years. In fact I bought a Canon 40D and lens package from them over the counter before Christmas. In January I made my first online purchase from them in order to take advantage of their best price on a high speed memory card (with Kingston rebate).
