Hi,
My name is Rick Paris and I want to talk about Adorama and one of there employees Ray Garcia. I have been dealing with them for 5-8 years give or take. First when I lived in NY and now while living in Montana.
Ray is a to put it bluntly- AWESOME! He has alway be great on the phone. He knowledge is great and if he's not sure, he'll either direct me or find out what I need and get back to me. I can't talk more highly about his excellance and on that note, Adorama's as well. They aren't the biggest, but I dare you to find better!
Being a professional photographer, it really helps to some one at your disposal what the knowledge of Ray and the company-Adorama behind me. I appreciate all they both do for me.

Easy ordering, quick to locate my items, a fast checkout system and within days my order has arrived on my doorstep. The prices are competitive and to avoid driving to a store that may or may not have the items I am looking for, I gladly pay for shipping charges.

I ordered a refurbished Nikon D40X and when it arrived it was defective. I called Adorama's Customer Service expecting to have an argument. Instead what I got was a pleasant surprise - "Do you want a refund or a replacement?" I wanted a replacement as Adorama's price was outstanding. Again, to my surprise Adorama shipped me a replacement by next-day UPS completely FREE and did not make me wait until the defective unit was returned. The replacement unit is perfect. Adorama is a company that not only offers outstanding value, but outstanding service. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal at a great price. It may sound corny but there is no drama when you deal with Adorama!

I have purchased many things for my photography hobby from Adorama. I find their web site to be clear, easy to search and well organized. Their prices are as good as anyones, they deliver quickly when needed and their customer service is the best, I highly recommend them.

First time I have ever used Adorama and I found their website easy to navigate and had no problems placing an order. I placed my order on Tuesday and had it on Thursday before lunch. With service like this I would definitely recommend them.

I often purchase photo supplies from Adorama. The prices and selection are excellent. Custome service is top notch, some the most helpful people I've communicated with online or via email. Shipping has always been fast and communication is great.
Highly recommended!

Overall great little slow on getting order shipped and they forgot to add fast delivery to my order. Lens was in great shape and works well.

Despite all the positive reviews for Adorama I decided to go ahead with the purchase of a GPS unit, to be shipped priority since I need from my trip next week. A huge hassle from the get go, I missed a call from their offices that had a vague voice message was left (on a weekend). After calling them back and receiving no answer, I sent them a total of 2 unanswered emails to inquire about the status of the priority item, by the end of the third business day I finally receive a cryptic email back (the entire email was "ask him for a listed land line or a c/c statement" ). Not sure if this was intended for me or not, regardless the use of the reply was obviously not used properly. This company seems to lack communication skills at all levels. Although some seem to have experienced 'great customer service experience', I would have to disagree since the formula of emails not answered, questions avoided, vague responses given, do not add up to a pleasant customer service experience. Worse, I have tried to cancel my order but there's no confirmation indicating of that status, so I am hesitant to order from elsewhere fearing Adorama will still send the product. I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere, ideally where customer service exists and is presented in an acceptable manner. To Adorama, if you're reading this at least (unlike the last 3 emails I sent), please realize to keep your customers it would be nice to respond to emails/calls in a timely fashion, there's nothing worse to keep your customers in the dark and having them 'guess' where their money went.

morning,the filter arrived at my place of employment
before noon the next day,i live in Canada,how do you do that?? i was not expecting it intil at least the

I have nothing but good things to say about Adorama's prices, service and order turnaround time. When I have had to call customer service with questions, they are always professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

This is my second order at Adorama during the last year. This last order was a small one (130 USD including shipping) and it was treated the same way as the preceding big one (3000 USD): promptly and courteously. No mix-up, no hassle. I cannot rate their willingness to correct a mistake as I had no occasion to do so.
PROS:
- All items shipped during the following hours (they were marked in stock).
- Prompt FedEx delivery (3 days, International Delivery). My previous experience shows that through FedEx International 24-hour delivery, I got my order the following business day.
- Order shipped complete.
CONS:
None.
NOTES TO CANADIAN CUSTOMERS:
1. They could give better information regarding taxes and fees when shipping to Canada. Taxes, duties and FedEx brokering fees are readily available and this information could be given to the customer. I personally phoned FedEx and all that information was given to me promptly.
Still, Adorama is one of the best for Canadian customers, unlike many online stores who refuse to deliver to Canada, or others that have prohibitive delivery rates.
2. This has nothing to do with Adorama, but my advice to Canadian custoners is to use FedEx: their brokering fees are the lowest.

Very impressed. I read a lot of blogs/websites of semi-pros and pros, and they all recommend them. I'm not a pro (or even a semi-pro), but I can join them in recommending Adorama. I was leaving this weekend for the Channel Islands, and I wanted to take a new lens for some wide angle shots. It was early Tuesday morning, and I was a little worried about doing 2-day shipping. But they had it boxed up and out the door that same day. The UPS guy dropped it off today...right on time.
My only "complaint" is why UPS did not ask for a signature. My front porch offers some hidden shelter, but I'm not crazy about them leaving a $700 lens like that out in the open. This may not be Adorama's issue, but it's definitely something they ought to know about (if they are reading this). If it was free shipping, I'd probably not bat an eye....but $28 shipping should be handled a little more delicately.
Nothing else to complain about. I'll definitely won't be afraid to buy from them again. Thanks, Adorama.

I've ordered from Adorama many times, including some oddball stuff; everything is always in stock and ships promptly. Their sales staff, in store and over the phone and via email, takes the time to make sure you know what you need to know before placing an order; they've never rushed or pushed me. Their customer support is first-rate - responsive and pleasant and very helpful. They even went to bat for me - successfully - with a manufacturer. Adorama always comes through.
