After 10 years of getting a new Point and Shoot camera every other year and four years of annual upgrades for a DSLR, I find Adorama Camera to be one of the top on-line stores for prices, range of merchandise, and reliable and fast service. They don't lure you with deceptively lower camera prices and then hit you with hugely inflated prices for accessories. For example, two stores now price the Canon 7D at $100.00 less but charge $300 for an extra 3-year warranty which sells at Adorama for $60-70. Nor does Adorama try to sell you junky, cheap memory cards (at crazy prices like some places). They don't play the game of cancelling the order if you don't buy accessories. The staff is direct, honest, and knows cameras well. I've had great service in the last two years from Adorama rep, Fred Wasser at extension 2259 (though other Adorama reps are just as good). I just upgraded from a Canon 50D to a 7D and told Fred I'd see him next year if Canon keeps improving their DSLRs.  
There are three or four other first-rate stores but Adorama is always in the top group in my experience, especially if you total up camera and all accessories.

I have made several purchases from Adorama, they always have the merchandise in stock and ship promptly. I receive the product in good condition and on time. What more could you ask for?

I purchased the SLIK PRO 580 DX Tripod Legs with SH-806E Heavy Duty 3-Way Pan Head & Case from Adorama. They are very helpfull and everything was as advertised. Shipped on time. Arrived in great shape. No question I will buy from them again.

I found this place through Amazon. They had the lowest price for rechargable batteries and adapters. I ordered it on a Friday, got it on a Monday, all for $1 shipping. Good place to to business with.  
 

I've always been skeptical about ordering merchandise on-line. Especially when ordering items as fragile as a camera lens. Adorama has not disappointed me; My merchandise has always arrived, well packaged and preserved. Their delivery time has been wonderful. I've even been able to purchase supplies that I could not find locally, at a low price. Adorama has taken the fear out of my on-line buying. Thank you!

Wow! They called me to follow up on an order...of their own accord. Had my information right at their fingertips and were very helpful. Meyer is the MAN! This is the first of what I expect to be many purchases.

This was my third order with Adorama camera. My first was for a battery grip for my Canon Rebel xsi thru Ebay. That went perfect, fast shipping, excellent item. Then I ordered 4 Power 2000 1500mAh LPE5 batteries for my canon thru Amazon. That did not fair so well. I actually recieved 4-flashpoint 1000mAh batteries. I called Adorama about this, and was told what I got was the same as what I ordered-WRONG!!! I put in a claim, but decided to keep the batteries I recieved because they worked, and were cheap. Much to my amazment Adorama refunded all my money...WOW. So I gave them another chance and ordered a Refurbished canon 70-200mm f/4L non IS lense. Good deal..better than I could find on Ebay. I did get a phone call from the sales dept offering extras, of which I declined most. It did not bother me as I know this is a tough economy and every extra dollar is worth trying to sell for. Any way, the lense is great, and I am very happy. I just placed an order with them for a 24-70mm canon lense,used. I will post back to tell of that transaction.  
 
OK, I just got the USED canon 24-70mm f/2.8 yesterday 11/17/09. Delivery was as promised.The outside of the lens is slightly worn in a couple of places. It was rated E-...so not being an expert in all of this, I am going to say it was within that rating. It works well, and takes amazing pictures with my Rebel XSI. I would say they did a great job, and I am very happy with my USED purchase. I saved around $300.00 purchasing this lens. Very satisifed with Adorama so far...

I bought a Nikon D-90 camera refurbished. I’m very pleased with this purchase. The camera seems to work flawless so far. It looks brand new to me. The price Adorama gave me was really good. I did research this camera way before buying it. I wouldn’t say much about this wonderful camera, since you can go to Kenrockwell.com if you ever want to see a serious and independent review for camera gear. All I want to say is that I owned a Nikon D-70 before and the D-90 was the best replacement choice I could get for price and quality.

Very fair pricing, Excellent customer service, Very reliable. Being doing business with Adorama for more than 2 years now and I recommend them to everyone I know for low prices and great selection.

I needed a particular Nikon lens and looked all over the internet to find the best price from a reputable dealer. I found the lens at Adorama and ordered, receiving it only a couple of days later. The lens is terrific as was the service, and I will continue to deal with Adorama for products and for prints.

The item was shipped out quickly, and arrived in an acceptable time frame... I will definitely buy from this merchant again! :)

I am pleased with all that I ordered from Adorama. I have had no problems with the items ordered except the L-5 battery. This was quickly taken care of by Adorama. Adorama is a god place to shop for all your camera needs.

Excellent and fair transaction - sold my equipment for what i considered to be top dollar - they nearly matched a deal that I had elsewhere. Would do again!!!
