"I am very unhappy with this company. I ordered a Canon flash on 09/27/2009, and the next day I received a call saying it was backordered (even though the website says it's in stock, and still did as of noon today). They tried to sell me another flash, that was supposed to be "so much better" for a cheaper price. I decided against it. They told me it would ship out sometime around October 20th. When I never heard anything, I contacted them inquiring if the item was in stock yet (note, the website still said in stock) and I was told no, and AGAIN persuaded to buy the other flash. I responded no and told them that they needed to correct their website since it's lying to potential customers, and told them to cancel my order. I would stay away from this company, typical bait and switch situation.

UPDATE: I just wanted to update everyone that their website STILL shows this item in stock, and when I try to email the company, all i get is a response that says "please call the sales team." What is the point of them having a contact email if you can't use it? Awful company.."

"Typical BAIT and SWITCH. Ordered a Sony flash HVL-F36AM. Got a call the next day telling me that the flash was on backorder even though the website showed In-Stock. They offered some other brand instead, because it might take up to 6 weeks for the Sony to come in again. I told them I'll wait for the Sony. Called them in July. Website still showed 'In-Stock'. Was told still on backorder and might not come in from Sony before August. Again offered some other no-name alternative. Did decline. E-mailed them on September 5 since I did not receive the item. A Rebecca Court responded 'will actually be here as per sony by weeks end J'. Whatever that means. Still did not get the product I wanted.
I will NEVER try to buy at this company again and I strongly recommend the same to everybody else.
This is BAD business!
12/10: AccessoryCircut claimed that I never placed an order with them and wanted to have my review removed. I am glad that I kept the order confirmation :)
This practice just confirms my recommendation to stay away from them. "

"I ordered online a Panasonic wide conversion lens (DMW-LW46) for $109.00 from this merchant. The order was confirmed online. 2 or 3 hours later I received a phone call from the merchant who told me that the item I ordered was not in stock, but that he had a much better lens he could sell me (Crystal Vision) for $179.99. Unfortunately I fell for his "bait & switch" ploy. This was on Sept. 2nd. I received the product on Sept. 12th & in the meantime I researched the "better" lens and found that in fact it was of poor quality & I had paid 3 times what it was actually selling for anywhere else. When I received the box I called & requested a RMA # but was told there was no refunds or exchanges, period. I told them that I had not even opened the box. No matter. I even went so far as to agree to send it back & wait for the Panasonic lens to come in and leave the charge as it was. They dismissed this too. The merchant I spoke with was rude, antagonistic and would not work anything out with me. I would think twice before I had any dealings with this merchant. They use very deceptive sales tactics & once they have your order they are through with you.

It only took a couple of hours after posting this review before I received a call from the merchant giving me a full refund. Thank you resellerratings.com."

"Bait & Switch - don't fall for it. Just say CANCEL. Then check with your credit card company & make sure they haven't charged your card yet.
Bait & Switch - CANCEL it's just that easy.

Just an update: after my bait & switch call I canceled my order. Called my credit card company. Wrote this review. 4 hours later I received a call from AC saying they had received a shipment of battery chargers and would I be interested in reordering. I was almost tempted. It was after all a miracle, maybe not of biblical proportions, but a miracle after all. But I refused temptation. But if you are interested in a Canon CB-2VL charger they are in stock."

"I got a call from Michael Stevens (ext. 301)after he read the review below, and wanted to rectify the issue, and see how he could help. We had a frank conversation and I told him that I had ordered the teleconverter from another site. I let him know that I would give them another chance with the next order and I would inform him when I did so. He is supposed to send me his email address for the same. As a consumer, I would advise future customers to proceed cautiously. I wonder if he would have called me if I had not written a scathing review; by the same token (with due respect to Accessorycircuit), I wonder if I would have written a review if I had received good service.
A bait and switch operation - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ordered a Nikon SB 900 flash and a 2.0X Teleconverter - both listed in stock; I received a call and the rep "James" at ext 302 stated that the flash was out of stock and would be a 5 week delay. But he could sell me other flash units. When he recognized that I new a lot about cameras and flashes, he basically shut up. I told him to cancel the flash order but go ahead and ship the teleconverter. I then received an email saying that my order had been cnacelled. When I called back and spoke to the same person, he told me that the teleconverter "ships from a different warehouse, and would be 4-5 weeks." So the entire order was cancelled. These guys are untrustworthy, and I would bet you that if you book any decent Nikon order with them, you will not receive the order and they will try to sell you something else. The good reviews on this site are extremely hard to believe; and I am dubious that they are written by true customers. If it looks like the price is too good to be true - it is probably the case. Beware - and don't waste your time - just look at what is the most coomon term in all the reviews about them - Bait and switch. I should have looked at these reviews before ordering. Stick with vendors listed on Amazon - I have not had any issues with any of them (thus far)."

"Do not do business with this company. Total bait and switch that I was naive enough to fall for and have been battling to get my refund ever since. When I got a return authorization number (which is exactly the same as your order number) so obviously the only point of this is to make it more difficult to return an item, I sent the cheap flash back. They received it on feb 22 and I got NO email stating they received it and would process my refund. So I email and get a condesending polite email back telling me to be patient and am STILL getting that same response. I was told on the 8th that my claim was processed and would post to my account in 3-4 days. March 17th and now I am being told it should post in another 2-3 days. I have never dealt with a company who falsely advertises that they have products in stock when they don't and then calls your phone to leave messages telling you you need to be more patient. Accessory Circuit YOU need to be more professional and honest. I will NEVER do business with these people again. "

"I placed an order on their website for a Canon camcorder battery last night. I received a call today and their salesman told me the battery was on back order for 6 to 8 weeks. He asked me if I would like to purchase a replacement battery instead. I know this is a "bait and switch". I canceled my order right away. I went back to their website. They still have the Canon battery in stock. This is not an honest business place. Please stay away from this company.

After posting my comments to this Company, I received a call from their salesman. He said that his employee who could update their website was out for 9/11. Their website would be updated to reflect this battery if he was here. I said I could modify my comment if he would change his website by Monday (14-Sep-09). The salesman was upset and told me that I posted an unfair comment to their Company. I don’t trust this Company at all. "

"Bait and switch - STAY AWAY!!!!
Ordered Pentax flash. Next day got a call that it is on backorder for 5-8 weeks. The salesperson also tried to sell something "better" than the flash I ordered. Ended up canceling the order.

Since I can not reply to their reply:

Europe? I am in US. It is all lies. Got another call. The guy said I did not hear it right the first time - not 5-8 weeks but 5-8 days backorder. LOL. Do not buy from this merchant! Good old bait and switch tactics."

"I orderd a Canon battery and charger online. I was called by Jay to inform me that the part I ordered was out of stock and would not be available for 4-6 weeks. He told me they had a better charger available and could upgrade my order for $15. The charger they sent was a Premium Tech pt-21 that sells for $12.09 on amazon and charged me $43(Jay said they would charge $37). Furthermore, the battery I ordered(sku 9612A001 ) for $33.99 was replaced with a generic knock off Power2000 ACD-239(amazon price is $ 2.58+shipp). I've been SCAMMED by accessorycircut.com. I was billed $76.99 for $15 worth of crap.

UPDATE: 8/28/2010
After posting this review, accessoryciircut.com contacted me and offered to buy a better rating from me. I will not sell my rating to the con-artists to allow more people to be ripped off. I would rather leave this review as fair warning to all web users to avoid dealing with this unscrupulous company. DO NOT BUY FROM ACCESSORYCIRCUT.COM!"

"What a rip off site!…They play games to keep your money. Tell you an item has been received when it hasn't, give you tracking numbers that only show billing information received to make you think they are shipping the item, refund notifications for cancelled orders that never show up as refunds at the bank.

Update: 8/29/10 Cancelled both orders from the company. Received and email letting me know my order was cancelled and to expect a refund in 3 or 4 days...still no refunds. I was contacted about this review on 8/22/10 and offered a battery for my trouble but that does little to compensate me for a month of hassles and the loss of the use of this lens for several photography events. A company rep responsible for following these reviews asked me if I disputed the charges with my bank yet He said if I wait till Wednesday they think they can get my money transferred to my bank so I can use it and won't have to go thru the dispute process. Wednesday came and gone and not even a call from the company rep...it was probably just another delay tactic to keep my money a little longer. The open box lens I placed an order for is still listed on their website...most likely to bait other unsuspecting customers. Contacted customer service and they told me the lens would be shipped Thursday 8/17/10 at the latest but it was not.
Contacted their billing department and they told me the money was refunded on 8/12/10. Believe that was just another bogus email.I was told the ordered item was received two weeks ago and they were sending it to the warehouse for shipment. They even gave me a tracking number. To this date is shows billing information received.
This is just nuts and in the mean time they have over $15,000 of my money tied up (first order they said they couldn't bill and would cancel and the send order I placed because they were having trouble with the first order) and I can't get the lens from a legit reseller until they refund my money. Do you get the message...buyer beware!

I told them I would lodge complaints if they didn't follow thru and sure enough I am following through now of contacting some if not all complaint sights listed below. Other unsatisfied customers may want to do the same.

I placed an order number 62272 with this company on 29 July 2010 for an in stock open item - Nikon 400mm f2.8 VRII lens. You sent several emails saying that my credit card was declined so I thought that I must have mistyped my check card number.

I then placed a second order 62431 for the same item and asked the company to cancel the first order. They replied saying they would do that. I waited and waited but never got any further status. I then noticed that my check card had billed twice (both orders processed). On 1 Aug 2010 I sent a second email asking you to cancel order 62272 and process order 62431.

All this time I never received any emails giving me order status or problems with my order other than when they couldn't charge my card. I had to contact a sales representative by phone to find out that the item I order had already been sold and they were trying to order a new lens. The sales rep said he would take care of the double billing problem but nothing was done and I still have two charges on my card as of 8/24/10.

At the same time I asked the sales rep if the newly ordered lens was the Nikon 400mm f2.8 with VR II (The newer Nikon lens with better image stabilization) and at first it didn't sound like he new what I was talking about siting a SKU number. Then he said yes it was the newer VRII lens. After I placed my first order with your company I placed two orders with another company and they both arrived within three days. I received timely emails from them letting me know what was going on with my orders. Since the billing has not been corrected, the order was not in stock, and doubt about the lens I will actually get, I have lost all confidence in this company.

I will never do business with your company again. I belong to Nikon Professional Organization and the Nikonians organization. Both are international photo organizations with millions of users. I also work at the department of transportation supporting all national and state transportation agencies. I am posting these sites with the experience I have had with your company and telling them never to place an order with you. "
