"Hi,
I don't know why everyone is righting bad reviews about this company. I got exactly what I ordered, it all works great, and it was cheap compared to other company's I looked at.

I did not have much interaction with the people who work at AVADIRECT so my experience may have been different if something was actually broken, but if you know exactly what you want and know how to configuire your own system I would recommend this place. If you are upset that you talked into getting an AMD proccessor by the sales team, like on reviewer said, maybe you shouldn't be buying a computer on line."

"We are a communications company and do alot of pc sales and upgrades and service work. Since finding AVA Direct online, I have been more than pleased with the service I have received. They provide great products at extremely competive prices. And am and will continue to do business with them."

"I found the avasite through www.pricewatch.com, and took a look at them because of their low prices. i did a little research, and decided to place an order for a very nice barebones system (2.66 ghz, 512ram, 120gb).

Although the shopping cart of the website was having some problems (which i have to admit made me a little skeptical), they took my order over the phone and were very helpful and friendly.

My order was processed and arrived in about 8-9 working days. I used their techsupport service when the product arrived as 1 of the 2 power connections for the motherboard had come loose in shipping, which was solved pretty quickly and i was up and running. I have to say that the automated answering service for tech support (which sounds alot like Stephen Hawking) was a little odd...

Anyway, the product I receive is working great, and the price was right (lower than anywhere else i could find, and i'm fairly savvy) at $566.72. Actually, if i had purchased parts individually (based on lowest prices from pricewatch.com) and assembled it myself i would have only saved about $50-70. In my opinion the professional assembly and testing, 1 year warranty, and lifetime techsupport are worth that $70 and more.

I was contemplating a new notebook/laptop as well, but wasn't as impressed with their pricing in that area as i was on the desktops/workstations.

Certainlty keep your eye out for good deals elsewhere, but my experience with AvaDirect was pretty good. I'll certainly be back (assuming the prices stay competitive)."

"Purchased an AMD64 custom system from them. They have taken good care of my order. Even with special components, such as my matching case and keyboard, they were diligent in securing them even though they do not stock them. When my video card was not available, they called me to approve a nice upgrade for $20 more. Overall I am satisfied with their product selection and customer service. Now, I am awaiting delivery before Christmas as promised. Happy holidays everyone."

"Price was very good, order was shipped fast and everything worked great when i got it. I ordered another system a few months ago and after a month the motherboard fried. Got a new one sent out without too much of a problem."

"I am extremely happy with my barebones system. Everything worked when it arrived, and is still working.
The web page was very user friendly. This is the first thing I have personally purchased online, it was quick and painless. I've heard horror stories about problems shopping online. I was impressed with how easy it was to look for what I wanted and place my order.
Now I just need to set some money aside so I can buy another system from AVA Direct and get my wife off mine. :)"

"Wonderful company. Always easy to deal with and very good prices. There are a few companies with slightly better pricing out there, but this one has great parts in their machines and wonderful customer service. I resell computers for a living. I ordered a number of "test" computers from several companies on the internet. This was the best.

"While AVA Direct is indeed X-Technology... I did not have a bad experience with them. I ordered from zipzoomfly.com and got a crappy product and horrible tech support and exchange service... ordered from AVA Direct (the exact same product) and it works fine. From my experiences AVA Direct is a good company worth ordering from."
