No problems with headlight lenses
"Ordered new headlight lenses for '02 Sable Sat night, had them by Wed. They were manufactured by Eagle Eye lighting. I did not expect OEM quality, and did not want to spend a fortune on this car. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lenses for the price. They fit perfectly and work fine. They even came with headlight bulbs. They were shipped in foam formed boxes and arrived in perfect condition. Ordering was simple, the tracking worked perfectly, and the price was right. "
Got what I expected - faulty
"After I read the negative reviews on here, I was very reluctant to purchase the part I needed. I ended up taking a chance. I ordered overnight shipping which I did recieve very next day. The Part looked brand new but as I unfortunately expected, it did NOT work. I immediately contacted customer service via email since there is no contact # and a representative emailed me back immediately and honored a full refund without needing the part shipped back. I received my full refund minus the shipping costs after 2 full business days. It's worth just spending the extra $ on getting a brand name part that's guaranteed to work. "

"I ordered a part from them because it was $50 cheaper than anywhere else. I didn't read the negative reviews until after. I forgot to put my apt #. I emailed them right away since they don't have a #. They emailed me back right way and fixed the address. My order shipped within 24 hours and I received accurate tracking. The part I received was correct. Overall, really good. "
"I made the unfortunate decision of buying a part from them. They advertise parts as being new and in great condition but when you open the box you realize that they stock their shelves with broken parts from junkyards. They don't have a return "policy." If you email them asking for a return, they WILL NOT write back. From reading the many dissatisfied reviews of them, this is a common practice at their joke of a company. The only way to get your money back and let the appropriate agencies stop their sleazy company is to file a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney Generals Office at https://www.eform.ago.state.ma.us/ago_eforms/forms/piac_ecomplaint.actionand the FTC at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1."
Helpful and straightforward
"I had a question about an exhaust manifold I ordered off of this company and they replied rather quickly. Their part was straightforward, cheap so wasn't expecting top of the line, had to be filed down a bit to fit but didn't take a mechanic to figure it out. I am a novice with engine repair and found no issue at all with their product; everything came as stated. I have no complaints about this company but do not expect high end quality from them. They're a reseller. Happy to have purchased from them. Also, take into consideration most people only write reviews when they are terribly angry and find it necessary to defame a business in order to make themselves feel better."

"After having the experience I have had with AM I am never referring anyone to this company. The order process, shipping, and delivery was all fine. The trouble came when the gasket kit they sent me was completely wrong. So I contacted customer service by EMAIL (this is THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET AHOLD OF THEM). After exchanging several emails I got tired of jumping through hoops and asked for a full refund. So they sent me instructions to return the kit, and the email said I had to pay for the return shipping since I didn't complete the investigation. Assuming this would only cost $10 or so. I ended up paying $25 for the return shipping. I am a college student and I work full time, I need my car, because of AM, my car has been sitting in my dads shop for the past week and a half. I purchased ANOTHER gasket set from JEGS (it was the right one this time, THANKS JEGS!) After shilling out all of this money, I highly urge people to spend the extra bit of money and buy from a better place than this. "
zero customer service and terrible tracking info
"First and foremost, no one should buy anything from a company that doesnt provide a telephone number to call with problems. I wish I knew that before I ordered. I tried to track my parts and it showed shipped but no changes in 48 hours. I had to email this company asking about the tracking and why it was taking so long. They replied stating that it takes 48 hours to update the tracking!!!????? what? tracking in this day and age should be instant. At least same day location of the part. Its unreal. Will NEVER order from this company again. "

"Received a part that didn't fit my car after EIGHT DAYS for shipping on their "ships the next day by donkey cart" policy. The company wanted me to send photos, VIN numbers, and a lot more unnecessary information. They had their website labeled for the wrong part for my make of car. They sent the right thing per their website but the website is wrong. They have high hassle returns. I finally did get a full refund. Don't shop here!"

"I ordered a part for my truck at nearly 1/10th the cost of a dealer and less than a local junk yard quoted me AFTER I spent hours looking for it. My part arrived exactly as promised and I couldn't have been happier. After reading tons of negative reviews, I was surprised to get exactly what I asked for in perfect brand new condition. I am in no way affiliated with am auto parts but since I read all the negative stuff, I figured I should share my experience. "

"Ordered a radiator for my Suzuki Aerio. Shipping was fairly fast and the radiator looked new. Noticed one of the brass fittings was leaking after installing the radiator. The fitting had a hole in it and luckily I kept my old radiator and swapped them out. AM Autoparts response was basically I could pay to ship it back and they will replace the radiator. Worthless since the radiator is in the car. Will not order from AM Autoparts in the future."

"My experience with am-autoparts was great. My order came 4 days after I paid for it and the parts were exactly what I bought. I've seen a lot of negative reviews for this store on here and I'm not sure why. Their prices are unbelievable and the shipping is free. You can't beat that man. I will continue to use this store anytime I need something that I can afford to wait a couple of days for. Keep up the good business practices guys your site is awesome!! "
