So my review (so far) may not be as bad as some of these that I have read... but, I need to vent anyway and I have a bad feeling about the remaining part of my order.  
So, I made a purchase on 3/25/09 of 2 products(a 3-pc metal rack collection and a corner litter box). (As of yesterday 4/6/09, I recieved the corner cat litter box, which to note- the box was delivered totally opened deformed). I called their customer service dept. on 3/31/09 to check when I could expect my order to be shipped out. They told me that both items were shipped out that very day. That afternoon I was provided a tracking # for the corner cat litter box via UPS. But, I still have not recieved any tracking information from them reguarding the 3-pc metal rack collection. When I called and spoke with someone from the customer service dept. I was told that this is because it has not reached a UPS Hub? So, as of today, it has been 6 business days since ABC told me that my order was shipped from their warehouse... Am I wrong to say that it should DEFINITLY be at UPS by now and be on it's way to me? Has anyone had this problem before? If it's been shipped from the warehouse and isn't at UPS... where has it been for 6 business days? Is there some kind of "limbo" that these lost orders hang in?  
Ugh! Horrible shipping process!

I ordered a lot in early November thinking some of them would be for Christmas. I received several items which were delivered without any issues. Well, A month later, I recieved a back-order e-mail and I canceled the items as they would not arrive in time for Christmas. Well, while I was on vacation, cancelled items were delivered and I have been fighting for the charges since. My credit card company was asked by me to get involved and dispute was resolved in my favor. However ABC Distributing is mailing and calling me now to collect money. So you know, per Federal Trade Commission Cosumer protection, if you receicve an item you did not order, it's considered a gift. The company is not allow to collect money, or make you ship it back.If they are trying to collect money for items you did not order, it's a reportable federal crime. I just send ABC distributing a certified letter with all of supporting documentation of my claim that the items were cancelled timely, I made enough effort to resolve this matter for the last 4 months therefore asking them to stop harrassing me! Next step will be a report to BBB and Federal Trade Commission and a discussion with my friend, the lawyer! So don't let them pressured you in to paying out of pocket to ship items back to them, or harrassing you for thier mistakes and poor business practices. Know your rights and stand your ground.

I will never order from this company again and told them so. It took about 3 weeks to get my order which isn't so bad, except they send you an email saying it has shipped (plus about $10.00 in shipping charges per item) with a UPS tracking number, but you can look it up each day and it is never updated. They leave it as "Billing information received". I called them and the guy said " We don't update that and some people have their items and it still says that. Don't worry, it will be there." Real comforting. I ordered two items, and conveniently they had to be shipped seperate thus, charging my a total of $20.00 for shipping that I hadn't planned on. Also, the quality is exceptionally poor. I ordered 2 different toys for children and they practically fall apart in my hands - One cost me $20 the other $40! I am scared to give it to them. Oh, AND they come unassembled. YOU have to put everything together - from the wheels to the stickers! This was not mentioned on the description, but then the picture doesn't even look like the item! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! I don't kow how they are still in business. When I told their so-called Customer Service how dissatisfied I was and that I would never order from them again, he said Thank you and Have a nice day. I would send everything back, but that would cost me more shipping and they won't refund the shipping I paid them to begin with. I should have just taken $60 and threw it out the car window.

I ordered two items from this company online.Two t-shirts,nascar.I received one tshirt and was charged 9 dollars shipping! For ONE lousy shirt in a tiny little box.The next week I received the other shirt and was charged 3.50 shipping.Well the nightmare didn't begin there,I paid for the items with a money order.A month later I received a HUGE box in the mail,I could hardly lift it.It contained over 100 tshirts and an invoice for almost a thousand dollars with shipping cost.I called the so-called customer service,they told me that I placed that order and if I didn't want it,to return it.I would have to pay to ship it back.Over 50 dollars.I am still in a battle with these idiots.

I honestly Like this company. I must be the only customer they are nice to? Granted when I first ordered from them I did have to prepay 2 times (2 separate orders) Thats only to ensure you are going to pay for your order. And it did take a loooong time for the items to get here. But now I pay when I get the product, they send an invoice with the product cost and shipping put together. My shipping has been from $.27 to $5.00 I havent paid more than $5 in shipping on any item that I have ordered. Yes they do put shipping cost on each thing but it would be the same price if they weighed the box with everything in it. They dont tell shipping cost because they look at different ways to ship it, they look for the cheapest way to get it to you. I now get my orders within a week maybe 2 weeks. It is frustrating when you are first ordering cause you have to prepay but give it a few shipments and they will give you premium status and when you check out youll get the option of paying with Credit card or have invoice sent to you. You can pay online with a check, which is what i do. I have other people who want things so i order them, they write me a check and I pay for it online. But if you do pay online BE SURE you pay all your invoices at once. They do charge a $1.50 per transaction so pay for as many items as you can at a time.  
 
As for product quality, hmmmm Ive been disappointed. But that was on me. Ive ordered a few things and it not be the size i thought. But then I go back and read description and it tells me how big it is.  
 
The clothing sizes are different. The XL is more like a Medium that you would buy at walmart.  
 
But ive ordered a bunch of stuff for Christmas already (all ordered this month) and Ive gotten it all already.  
 
So If you are thinking about buying go ahead if you have patience. You have to spend and pay for (probably but dont hold me to this) around $100 and they will give you premium status. I order 3-400 dollars of product at a time and i never have to prepay.

If I had read here first, I never would have ordered anything from ABC Distributing. On 6-12-08, I placed an order for (4) 4th of july fiberoptic center pieces, and (2) small fiberoptic hats for a 4th of july party we were planning. NONE OF THESE ITEMS WERE LISTED ON BACKORDER. A few days before July 4, 4 seperate shipments were delivered from UPS. One box contained the two small centerpieces, and the other 3 boxes contained (1)each of the larger pieces. Each box was charged for individual shipping (so total shipping on this order is ridiculously expensive!) So, a few days ago, the last centerpiece was delivered (again with its own shipping charge) and I checked their site. It showed there were (2) more large centerpieces preparing to ship. I immediately emailed to complain about them shipping each item individually (although at the same time) and not to send me the others which I did not order or want. Here's a blurp of their belated response;  
 
The item(s) (2) PXT PATRIOTIC HAT OR PLANTER listed in your email have recently been invoiced for delivery, and we are unable to cancel them at  
this stage of shipping. We are only able to cancel backordered items at this time. Please note that abc distributing ships merchandise upon availability, which means if an item goes into a backorder status, it may be necessary  
for that item to be shipped separately. However, we do make every effort to ship as much merchandise in the same box as possible. Please see our ordering instructions where it states that each product may be shipped and invoiced separately. In addition, shipping costs are based on weight, dimension and destination of the package. These rates are standard published shipping rates.

The company refuses to let you know the price  
of shipping and handling. Its always a surprise  
when the merchandise is shipped. Sometimes the  
shipping/handling is very expensive, even on a small cheap item, and if your add it to the item,  
the price is higher then you'd pay in a local store, if your purchased it outright. I have no  
idea how they get away with not listing the cost  
of shipping and handling, I think thats how they make their money. Don't buy anything.

I am very unimpressed with abc distrubuting. First off I was planning on paying with a credit card, but they didnt show till after my order was placed that I cant pay with a credit card. Second they cant calculate shipping before hand? Every where else that you place an order they can calculate shipping so you know what your paying before you agree to pay it. Third I still have not received my order yet they want me to pay for it. It says clealy on their site ''receive your items before you pay for them'' yet they want me to pay for them before theyve even shipped them. Half my order got canceled because all of a sudden they have ran out of them even though for the past 2 weeks they said they were preparing them for shipment. Fourth their products arent all good either, I did get one thing that you have to assemble, the drill holes for the screws were all off and i had to make new ones just so they would all line up straight. Overall this company does very bad buissness and I will never order from them again. They dont deserve anyones buissness and I'm sure if you look around the internet you can find the same products and get them alot faster. Bottom Line--DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!

I ordered stuff from ABC Distributing/LTD Commodities LLC on 10/2/07 and still have not received my whole order (it is 2/13/08 today). I called them, e-mailed them, wrote them letters and filled out their forms to get a credit put back on my account. Well today I received a letter saying they were going to turn me over to collections. This is the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with in my life. When you try to get a hold of someone it is almost impossible and apparently they don't know how to do accounting or read. The only thing they know how to do is scam people. I will be contacting the Better Business Borough and reporting this company.

Out of the last six orders I have placed with this company, 11 items have been discontinued and no longer available. They waited nearly four weeks to tell me. I had sold presold six of the items. They even past due billed me for the items they will never deliver. DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR WHOLESALE SOURCE. THey will damage your business!

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY  
I placed an order with this company for a large amount of items that I was told were in stock. About 2 weeks after my order, I was asked to send payment and at the time all of the items were in stock. A week later when I called to check the status of my order I was informed that half of the merchandise was NOT in stock and this was 2 weeks before Christmas. I ended up stopping payment on the checks I sent because I did not want to pay for merchandise that I was not going to receive.  
 
I had read bad reviews of this company and decided to go ahead and place an order anyway. Please listen to these comments, they are true and have been for everyone I know that has worked with this company.

It is Oct. 31, and I am still waiting for my merchandise. I have called and spoken to the on several occasions and it simply appers the right hand does not know what the left hand does. One person tells you one thing, while someone else tells you something else. Still no merchandise. The company has terrible Customer service and very poor follow thru. Still I wait for my merchandise...................

I let my mother use my account to purchase from these people and what a mess it turned out to be. She paid for the order in full to them and told the customer rep if it could not be sent by exact date then cancel entire order. Well guess what? They sent 1-2 pieces at a time and charged her for shipping/handling on each order even though she already paid for the entire order. Thats what this company does, they never have your entire order in stock so they bill you for each piece then bang you more for s/h. She called so many times and complained since she didnt want my account screwed up and they basically told her nobody had permission to promise her a delivery date and nothing they can do about the s/h charges. Not to mention they tried sending her wrong items and charging her for them. I wrote to them and told them to shove the account up their as* and I will not pay them another cent. I will never purchase from these people again. Also check out ripoffreport.com check out their rating over there. All these customers cant be wrong. They are lucky it was my mother not me because i would be documenting everything and filing charges with BBB and Consumer Affairs and even Atty General in their state for their business practices. I'm sure theyre already on their list so i wont bother at this point.

This company has always shipped what we have odered although the average time from order placement to items received is about 2 months, never less than 6 weeks, and as long as 4 months. I recommend not prepaying (use C.O.D) and pay for only the items received as an order never comes complete in 1 shipment. Refer all problems to the BBB as anything else will not yield results.

We ordered 21 items 12/4/05. After several rude customer service people, and a week and a half with no shipping, we spoke to a male who CLAIMED he was a supervisor and said we would receive our shipment by Christmas. This was on 12/19/05. He said we would have to pay an extra $13 for shipping, and we agreed because these items were Christmas gifts for our 2 young children. Only 3 things arrived by Christmas, so we had to lie to our children about where the rest of Santa's gifts were. The last item did not arrive until 52 days after the original order, which we PAID FOR on 12/4/05. We spent $205, and were charged $150 for shipping. When we called to complain and inform them that we would not be paying for shipping, as they did not follow through on their word, the manager was actually yelling at us and telling us we were liars - they don't even HAVE any male supervisors, and what's more, there is no record of our numerous phone calls. What I recommend to ALL of you, is to go the Better Business Bureau website and report them; I did it last week and already our ABC account online has been credited $100 of the shipping. Good luck to all of you!
