Ordered 2 pair of Adidas sneakers. List price for both was over $180. 6pm.com sold them both for $64.00 plus $6.95 shipping. We ordered on 12/6/09 and received them on 12/9/09.
I have never had this level of speed, discount and satisfaction from an online retailer. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to save a LOT of money. Buyer beware!!! Poor return policy!!! Lack of quality control. And, supervisors who are not customer service oriented! I ordered a 32 in. Nat Nast swim suit. they sent a small (waist measures 28 in. inside, 30 in. outside) . I returned at their expense items they again shipped small even though e-mail told them of problem. they will credit my account but i must pay to ship. Talked with supervisor who said it was my problem because they say Nat Nast listed it (32 in.) as small. Nat Nast was not the manufacturer (since out of bix) and a call to Nat Nast says 32 in. is usually a med. 6pm.com basically told me to fly a kite that it did not matter the physical measurement was 28-30 to them it was a 32. In e-mail stated “We are not responsible for the sizing of this product. You are welcome to return the item…for the best results, you really do need to try them on (dah its “e” not a store!) . LOVE this site~! I discovered this store about a year ago and have ordered 25 pairs of shoes from them in the past year. One pair did not fit, and one pair had a strap break after the second wearing, but honestly, I am paying less than $20.00 a pair for these shoes. Where else could you do that? I bought my teenage son sandals at Payless Shoe Source this summer and they were more than 20 bucks. Sure, 6pm's return policy is crap, but if you know that going in, it's totally worth it to get some fabulous shoes at rock-bottom prices. As for the 2 pairs I mentioned before, I gave the pair that didn't fit to a friend (who was thrilled) and threw the broken pair in the trash. Love 6pm and will continue to buy more shoes there!

I order size 6 Blowfish boots (only 2 pairs left). Size 6 is on the invoice, the final bill, and the receipt in the box. I open them up, and the boots are size 7 1/2!!! And for THEIR incompetence - I'M charged for shipping and RETURN SHIPPING...this is a merchant who has no respect for his customers.

When they run their one day sales, they offer good prices. Unfortunately, their customer service policies are very unfavorable towards their customers.
1) You have to pay a flat rate for shipping to you. This is not unreasonable but plenty of other shoe etailers offer free shipping.
2) You have to pay the full cost for return shipping, which can be expensive since shoes can be bulky and big. I payed ~$12 to ship back one pair of shoes. Many shoe etailers offer free returns.
3) The refuse to combine orders to save the customer shipping costs even though they do not actually ship out the orders for up to a week later. This is not an issue with etailers who offer free shipping.
4) They do not allow exchanges so your only option is return and re-purchase. Since their sales last only a day, by the time you get the shoes and realize they don't fit, they have raised the price several times over what you paid. I am not aware of any other shoe etailer with such an unfriendly policy.
Essentially, their business model is built on making it as difficult and expensive as possible for the customer to return unwanted items. You are out big $ even if you do return the shoes. Because of this, I would strongly advise to only purchase shoes from them if you are fairly sure of the brand/fit or are prepared to get rid of unwanted items some other way. If not, you will be stuck with expensive mistakes that are not worth it to return.
I also want to point out that ebags sold 6pm.com to zappos several years ago, and zappos has in turn been acquired by Amazon. This review was modified by its author, beabeabea, on

Buyer beware!!! There return policy sucks! They do not tell you this upfront. I ordered a pair of shoes in 10W, and I cannot even fit my feet into them. I went to site to get info on returning them, I had to do everything myself with the help of UPS! I was also charged an additional $11.80 (on top of S&H of $6.95 to order them!) to return to 6pm.com! And of course they will NOT EXCHANGE anything! I was basically SCREWED out of $18.75! I will never, ever buy from this site again! I will also tell my friends not to either! Please make sure you check any online stores exchange and return policy before you buy anything from them. There are many reputable sites to buy merchandise from. Also look for an 800 number to the site your buying from. Because unlike 6pm.com, it is impossible to talk to a human. It is all "handled" thru emails.

I can''t believe there are any complaints about 6pm.com. I received unbelievable service - ordered on a Sunday & got my shoes on Wednesday. There was no hassle about the LOW, VERY LOW, sale price as I have read about. I got an unheard of deal on a pair of Keen Boots ($58.25 including shipping), which does not even come close to the prices of other retailers who include shipping. I did get lucky getting the sale price (30%) since it changed the next day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 6PM.COM. To the scoffers I say stick to purchasing offline at your local retailer. That way you can deal with your complaints there & not tarnish the image of reputable sites.

I've ordered from this company multiple times and have been nothing but satisfied. People complaining about the return policy clearly don't read the fine print before they make purchases. If you don't want to have any issues whatsoever about sizing, then don't order anything online if you're unsure it will fit you or not. Their shipping is incredibly fast and I have been 110% satisfied with their products and customer service. I can't wait to order from 6pm again!

I've been looking at the products on this site and chose to purchase from Overstock.com since they were the only other site that carried the shoe brand I wanted (Schutz) and their initial shipping is less. I would rather place an order with endless or zappos because of their free ship both ways BUT they didn't carry this brand.
Even though I didn't purchase an item with 6pm.com I did view the return policy (as I do with every site) and they were very clear you pay for shipping - both ways. It's not a great policy for an online shoe store but they are up front about it. Read the return policy and be an informed consumer BEFORE making a purchase (this holds true with any store).

I have bought from both e-bags and 6pm, and the return policy some are moaning about is FAAAAR eclipsed by awesome customer service (gave me a huge promotion even though I actually didn't qualify for it with my order) and ridiculously good prices (at least highly competitive, sometimes just giving the stuff away- beat zappos by 25% on my last shoe order). Besides all this, especially on ebags I literally have had the smoothest shopping experiences ever. i have literally recommended this site to friends-- and I NEVER do that for a business. Take it or leave it, but that's my experience!

Their return policy is terrible.
I was thinking about returning a pair of shoes that I bought from them but since I have to pay extra for the return fee, I would rather give the shoes to somebody else. They don't provide you anything for the return process, not even a return label. I would not purchase anything from this site ever again.

This first purchase from 6pm was only made due to the unavailability of the shoes elsewhere (for the lowest price possible). It wasn't a steal per se, but it was the best price around, including shipping.
I checked ResellerRatings prior to ordering and decided to go for the buy regardless of the copious negatives. Prior to ordering, I quadruple checked everything, and scoured the site for any strange or easily overlooked details.
So... whether or not it was luck, I got exactly what I wanted; no problems. Shipping and packaging were solid, too.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Read their return policy real good. Their shipping is $6.95 flat rate. I purchase to sets of cleats for my son and neither of them fit. The return policy is horrible. When you return the items to the store you have to pay return shipping - which I guess is not the worst thing in the world when ordering on-line trying to get a fit. When the company receives the return - they will only credit you for the cost of the item. Even though you paid for shipping - they keep the $6.95 paid to ship for "the service they provided to you to ship the item".
