"Had a photo shoot on Saturday and called 47th St Photo for a grip 4 days before the shoot. I offered to pay for overnight shipping and the guy there told me that there was no need so I gave him CC info and he promised I'd have it by Friday. A week goes by and I still haven't got the grip, nor any answer to my emails.
When I call to ask what's going on, I'm yelled at by a customer service rep saying that it was pretty much my fault and that he doesn't want to hear anything I have to say. I was so taken back that I asked to speak with a manager who was nicer but said that emails are a very unreliable way to communicate and he wasn't surprised that I didn't get a response (hello, it's 2009 and for people that live on the road it's much easier to email).
Turns out that after checking my order number, my grip didn't even ship yet!! A whole week went by and they didn't even ship the order to me. I would not do business with this company again. Stick to the people you trust, Cameta Camera or Amazon."
