"Opteka CXS-500 X-Cage Pro with Handgrip and Rail System (for all DSLR cameras) (Electronics)
Really like this cage. Works well with my camera. Feels sturdy and secure. Only thing I can complain about is the lack of ability to use my articulating LCD on my 60d, this isn't a big deal though but it is the only reason why I will not give this product the full 5 Stars."

"Ordered a wide angel lens for my Canon Camcorder. Received it quick, processed fast, great price compared to others online and was a high quality lens. Works great... I will definitely be doing business again :)"

"Purchased a Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 EX HSM OS lens..... Sigma OEM box was 4.5" x 5" x 5", the good folks at 47th Street deemed to shipp it in a 6 x 6 x 6 package with a total of FOURTEEN packaging peanuts (I counted them). The lens was poorly and inadequately packed for shipment, there was subsequent damage to the lens...(or at the least it was shipped that way, either or) Sigh, I should have seen the hassle coming. Seller tried to give me store credit; my personal preference is not to re-patronize vendors who fail miserably initially. e.g., if a restaurant serves poor food, i don't want "credit" nor will I re-visit the establishment. Long story short, being an eBay purchase, I had to resort to the eBay Case Resolution process to finally get my money back. Incredulously, the entire time, I was receiving emails from 47th Street initially saying "they had processed my refund" (when they hadn't), then they flatly told me they wouldn't process a refund b/c I'd opened up a case on eBay. Needless to say, a long, arduous three week ordeal. Had it not been an eBay purchase, I would have to have resorted to my credit card issuer for purchase protection. A shame, as a seller ships out a high value lens, poorly packaged, then attempts to balk at refunding purchase. Stay far away, stick to B&H and Adorama, thats my takeaway from the experience."

"Ordered a new lens for my Pentax SLR camera. It is a Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG IF Macro Aspherical Lens.
I wanted an extended range lens for an upcoming trip to Afica. The range of this lens is fabulous as I only want to carry one lens. it will allow for close range as well as zoom photography. I have taken some tests shots and the quality of the shots are excellent. Sigma lenses are my favorite as they are so well made and so sturdy. But the most amazing thing is the unbelievable price offered by 47street photo. Thank you"

"Well I waited for my new lenes to come checking the window every few minutes and when it arrived I was so excited! Not much time to play but I am happy as can be! thank you! I am going to love this! The difference in my photography is going to extend beyond what I figured I could do myself! This is the best buy I have made in a long time! It was quick shipping and no hassels with orders! they are for sure the best on my list to buy from!"

"I ordered a 5 in 1 reflector and after one use the zippered case tore. They promptly sent out a replacement at no charge to me. It was the wrong case so they promptly sent out a 2nd case at no charge to me. I am satisfied with the end result of my purchase :)"

"47th Street Photo is a great company to do business with. The price was competitive and I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of the product and the care taken with packaging (very generous packaging) so that everything arrived in mint condition. The delivery was fast, and I have no bad news to report. I'll definitely order from 47th Street Photo again."

"Worst online retail experience I have ever had. Consider yourself lucky if you have no problems with your order, but should you have, then you are in for a battle with an incompetent customer support department. I have twenty pages of correspondence with them documenting my efforts to obtain a replacement for an item damaged upon receipt. Ultimately my CC was credited for the original purchase price, but I am still out two shipping charges. I have sent letters to Opteka, the product manufacturer, Amazon.com, and the Better Business Bureau. Opteka has offererd to sell me the item direct at the original purchase price with no postage charge. Run from any thought of doing business with 47th St. Photo. Update: When the offer to sell direct to me from Opteka came I reordered the slide copier. What I subsequently found out after expressly stating I would never order from 47th st. again, I learned that the two companies are one and the same and the order was again placed through 47th. St. After more correspondence and another phone call from them, I cancelled the order again and received a credit. I have ended up with 22 pages of correspondence on this matter. Beware!!!"

"I ordered a $900 lens through Amazon. I initially made a mistake with the wrong card. I immediately canceled the order that day, Saturday. a short time later Amazon sent me an email to update my payment settings because the card didnt go through. I updated the card and saw they debitted the amount from my account. So an hour or so after I sent 47th St. my original cancellation request I sent abother email with the subject: DONT CANCEL ORDER. However, monday morning I still have the debitted amount on my bank account and 47th canceled my order. I really needed this lens for a shoot and it was time sensitive. So I asked them what they could do and they said they would have it out to me in time but I would incur the cost of the expidited shipping. For $11 more, they lost a loyal customer. I called my local dealer, he has it in store although for a bit more, but atleast I have peace of mind that I am getting what I want and on time. "
