I purchased a opteka opt-hc25 x-large aluminum hard case to store some of my lens in.. the price that was advertised on 47th street photo was great. So I placed a buy now order. Well after a few days and a $14.95 shipping fee I received my purchase. Well guess what? It was the wrong case. They sent me the opt-hc15! this case is considerably smaller and would not hold some of my gear. I contacted 47th street photo. They gave me a RMA number but want me to pay for the return shipping.. Now thats not a fair business practice. If it's your mistake then suck it up and take care of the customer. I contacted Pay Pal and filed a dispute but you know how that goes... Not always on the side of the little guy.  
As a business leader, When I make a mistake or one of my employees makes a mistake, We take care of the customer. With todays economic conditions we don't take chances on walking business. After reading the reviews on the internet I figured that 47th street photo needs a rude awakening regardless of how small the transaction is. Stay tuned for the response from the New York State Attorney General.

I am extremely happy with my transaction, I ordered my product around 6:00 PM EST (after normal business hours) and when I woke up on 6/25 I had an email indicating that the product had already shipped.  
 
I do the majority of my shopping online and it's refreshing to see a company with such quick ship times.

I had never shopped at 47th st photo, but they had an amazing deal on a lens I couldn't pass up. Also I needed the lens within a few days so I had it mailed 2nd day air. I called in the order and the representative said they would have them the next day and so I would get it in 3-4 days. I told him that was ok but I needed it asap. An hour later he called back and said that he went back to take a look to see if the system was wrong and ended up they had 1 left. He said he knew I needed it asap and ended up putting it in the mail that day! Wow.  
 
Very nice staff and great prices, I"ll definitely be shopping here again.

Order was placed with amazon.com on June 19. Order was received June 24th ahead of estimated delivery date of June 30th. I am very pleased with 47th Street Photo and with the item that I ordered. Item arrived in condition stated on the amazon.com item page. I have ordered from this seller before and have never had any problems with them.

Ordered my item (opteka wireless remote) from 47th St photo through Amazon, product shipped one day later, delivered 3 days later. Had emails from both Amazon and 47th St Photo with delivery and tracking number. Product arrived in new condition, works as described. No complaints.

Order is processd and shipped immediately after purchase. Did not have to play the warranty game. Lens is clearly marked US Warranty and removes any question of "grey market" lenses.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the products and the great service of the shop. There was a mistake in the delivery address, but it was quickly corrected and I got my order right to my birthday.

I tried to place an online order for a Canon lens. My order would not go through because it kept telling me the address on my card was not correct (it is my debit card, of course it is correct!) So I call them to place the order. The phone is answered. Call goes as follows:  
 
I state name and say I wish to place order.  
-Guy says "what item?"  
I give item number.  
-He says "What is the description?"  
I tell him.  
-He quickly says "not in stock ma'am."  
I start to say, uh it says...  
Guy immediately cuts me off and very rudely says "I told you it's not in stock!!"  
 
Web site clearly states item is in stock, offers free shipping and can ship within 24-48 hrs!!!!!  
 
I will NOT be calling this company again.
