But what I've seen so far is exactly what I wanted with the 50x zoom as we have a hawk nesting in a tree across the field with two babies. This way we can take single images or movies to share with the grandchildren. I would have liked to have had a disc that was able to be used in my Mac OSX.4 but having Photoshop I can deal with my RAW images etc. and I was able to pick up the manual from The Canon site. The camera is a good light weight and easy to manage with the different buttons and dials.
