"AWESOME experience. I was scared to order my camera on-line, but the price was good, and the reviews I read were great! I talked with Keith, he got my Canon EOS Digital Rebel out that day! And he only suggested extra items, never really pushed. My 2 day shipping was done in 2 days - I ordered on a Tuesday, received my camera on Thursday. A small snag with my e-mail address, they put it in wrong, but when I called back to see if my item had shipped, Keith stayed on the phone with me until I confirmed I could check my order on-line. My camera and other items came well packaged and in perfect condition. USA warranty, just as promised! If I ever have a need to shop on-line for electronics again - I will definitely be using 42nd street photo!"

"I initially ordered my Canon Digital Rebel from Abe's of Maine with lots of extras. They called me to upsell me, agressively, and I politely refused. They then "lost" my order as I found out when I called them 2 weeks later to find out if they were ever going to ship.

I canceled the order and went to 42nd St. Photo. I ordered the basic camera body only online. I waited a week, and then the online status said "contact store". So I called, and they asked if I needed batteries or memory, which I refused. They then said they'd ship in two days. It shipped the next day, and it arrived right on schedule. What more can you ask for?

Not only did he get my order to me the next day, but included an additional rechargable battery and a 3 UV filter lens kit at no additional charge. "After searching for the lowest price on line, I found 42nd St. photo had the lowest price after shipping. So, I purchsed a Casio S600 camera from them on 6/20/06.

I was a little concerned because it said that they currently could not send me a confirmation email, but they did give me an order # and that option to call to confirm. A few hours later, one of their sales reps gave me a call to confirm my order. He was very pleasant, asked me if I had any questions about the camera, and didn't give me a hard sell about any accessories. He also told me that I'd be receiving an email with a tracking number by the next day.

The email came a couple of hours later and my camera showed up the next day. All in all, a very smooth and pleasant experience.

"Purchasing from 42nd St Photo was a great experience. The service was fantastic. I purchased a Nikon D70s body on-line from South Africa. The consultant(Junior) called me in SA to confirm my order after I e-mailed him my contact details. The query I had regarding the shipping cost was rectified without any problem. The price was very competative and as an add-on, the Compact Flash card was discounted very nicely. The package was shipped to Washington and arrived within 2 days of purchase. The packaging was excellent. I was also able to track the shipping progress through the UPS website from the tracking number which Junior e-mailed to me. "I'm an Extremely satisfied customer. Product was new, in stock, as presented on their website. The order arrived in three days via UPS. They kept me constantly informed via e- mail every step of the way. fast & friendly service! I will definitely do business with them again."

"I have purchased all my digital camera equipment from this store, on line. Delivery was right on time, item was on stock, and the camera price was 100% the best I have seen. Oh...did I mention that the sales rep was very friendly and courteous.

"kudos to 42 photo who delivered my order on time and in perfect condition!!! The person I spoke with as I placed my order was knowledgeable and very helpful with all my questions that I needed answered. He saved me a lot of money by recommending me on the items I needed to get with my camera. That's great and honest service. I will be a returning customer.
