"Bad experience with 3btech. They sale craps to customers. The CD-RW works for six month and crashed. I went to their place personally and they refused to do anything. I am very disappointed with them. They do not know what is customer satisfaction. If you've paid, you are done. Buy from them only when you do not want customer service and bad products."
"ordered parts for a complete computer, upon assembly it was not working - ended up at the computer guy in our area, spent an afternoon (a whole afternoon, this is my time and money we are talking about) taking each part out and testing it, the processor did not work. Upon sending it back they say it does work (didnt work on 4 different computers on this end), long story short, they wont exchange, will only refund 75%, or send it back, what the heck good does this do me...do they just send out funky parts and make all their money off the 25% they end up keeping? What else am I supposed to think??? I dont have time to jack with this, didnt have time to send things back and forth. Time is was the issue, now I have an issue."
"I placed an order on April 25th. The merchant's website says most orders ship same day but allow 3-5 days for assembly/testing of barebones systems. 5 days later on the 30th of April, 'Joel' from 3bTech contacted me by email to inform me that they were out of stock of one components (the case) and asked that I reply by email with instructions or call. I called the same day, and they were closed. I responded by email before the start of the next business day authorizing the use of a different similar part of their choosing.
On the 6th of May (10 days since the order was placed) I received a phone call from 3btech calling to tell me that the case I ordered was out of stock and they wanted to know if they could substitute in a different one. I accepted this offer, and inquired as to why it hadn't yet been assembled and shipped based on the previous correspondence on the same issue. The person I was speaking with said he was unaware of any emails having been sent regarding the case being out of stock.
Over the next few days I waited expectantly for an email with a tracking number, and when the weekend came, I resolved to call them on monday and cancel the order, but missed them because of the 3 hour time difference.
Today is the 12th of May, and I just received a UPS tracking number informing me that my order is to be delivered on the 18th of may, 24 days after I ordered it.
I'm am very dissatisfied with the speed of order fulfillment, the inefficiency the seller's communication - both external and internal, and by their overall failure to provide a reasonable level of customer service.
I live in Washington State, but given the amount of time that has elapsed on this order, I could have driven to Indiana, assembled the system myself, then driven it home at a leisurely pace and still arrive 2 weeks before my order's actual delivery date.
I feel like after I was contacted, either time or both, the person who contacted me should have taken it upon themselves to see to it that my order was expedited, considering the delay. The second time I was contacted I believe that a) an apology for the delay was in order, and b) he should have offered to let me cancel and/or offered some other type of token of good faith. Having not done any of these, I believe that it would have been an appropriate gesture for 3btech to take it upon themselves to upgrade the shipping speed.
As it stands, it seems like the company tosses out their posted claims of always trying to provide the best service, the moment that the "confirm order" button is pressed.
"Beware of their Western Digital harddrives they say are white label branded "Magnetic Data Tech". I though that just meant that they were sold to manufacturers with an OEM label and no warranty. I think they are actually refurbs. there are scratches all over the drive, and the static bag it was in looked fine. So the drive was scratched BEFORE it got bagged. I was not aware that these were refurbs when I made my purchase. From looking at the ad on pricewatch(in the "NEW" section), or their website, you wouldn't know it.
I will not order from them again. "

"If you buy a motherboard from this company, you better donate the money to charity directly so at least you feel good. I was sorry to buy a MD from them just because the price seems competitive. It arrived a used and defective one. There are at least two obvious malfuctions of the board. I tried different CPU,memory, graphic card...but the board alway gave a blue screen during the process of installing windowxp. I contacted them asking for a replacement or refund whichever they like. the reply was MB is not refundable (never heard of)! And I had to pay for the shipping back. 2 weeks later, a email came saying the MB was OK, but they did offer me a refund of 75% of the orignal charge! I just leave the rest for you guys to figure out if the MB is really OK. Conclusion: Go the newegg or some reputable vender for your MB. This company is not the right place for happy shopping!"
"I ordered a case n it came in a timley manner free shipping, The problem was that it was dented in several places one of the dents where the top n sade come together was very bad, the problem with sending it back was it was promised to someone with which i had to take a cut in the price of the computer in exchange for the dents, I did'nt have the time to send it back, which would have been an even more added expence."
"I don't recommend this company AT ALL. Being a sloppy Yahoo store aside, I've got many more complaints. I ordered a Siemens SpeedStream router, and when it finally got here over a week later, it didn't work properly. It proved a little difficult to find any way to contact them, but when I finally found their contact information, I emailed them about my problem. It took them 3 days to respond to my tech support question, and all they said was "Fill out an RMA form and we'll contact you again within 24 hours". I did so, and it took them not 24, not 48, but SEVENTY-TWO HOURS to contact me with my RMA number, yes, that's another 3 days. I'm now RMAing the router almost 2 weeks after ordering it, and I'm hoping the next one WORKS!
Their customer service is a level less than that I'd expect from UNtrained chimpanzees."
"DO NOT PURCHASE - You've been warned. Like others have said, once you pay, they are finished with you. We purchased 3 UPS over the past few months from them. All 3 have now failed. It is NOT a problem with our facility, as we have other UPS units that work just fine. Heres the deal. The last 2 UPS units that we ordered arrived in deplorable condition- obviously used and dirty. We decided to try them anyway, and they proved to be failures within two days when there was a power blip. Contacted the company - who forced us to pay to ship them back.. so they could "test" them. Guess what!?! They claim that they work fine!!! LIARS!! They refunded 75% of the cost back... LESS S/H. So, we got royally ripped off. If you order from them after warning like this - you must be asking for the same. You've been warned. "
"To save you some time, I'll get right to the point. 3btech misrepresented used/ refurbished merchandise as new. They were then rude, insulting, and unwilling to make things right. If you want to know more, read on...
I purchased three SiPix SC-3300 digital cameras from 3btech. They had a great price for what was represented as a new item. However, because 3btech's price was what other vendors were asking for refurbished units and because they were going to be gifts, I called before ordering to be sure they were, in fact, new. After giving them as gifts, I became suspicious that they may not be new. The first thing that bothered me was the fact that the serial numbers were blacked out with permanent marker. Other evidence such as scuffs, old battery wrappers, various branded replacement batteries, and improperly folded user manuals further convinced me that they were not new. I contacted customer service and they said that one other customer had complained of the same problem. So, they confirmed my suspicions about the cameras not being new, but they tried to imply that they had no idea how this happened and that these were isolated incidents. Since all three of the cameras I purchased were not new, I found that hard to believe. Had it been just one of the three, I might have been a little more receptive to that explanation - but not much. I think vendors know when they are selling misrepresented merchandise.
Since they were gifts, returning them was not an option. Their customer service was very accommodating on this point; however, when it came to agreeing on a an equitable solution, they were not quite as amicable. After a volley of emails on what would be a fair refund, they refused to offer more than $10 per camera - citing loss on sale issues. In other words, they were willing to make things right as long as it didn't cost them anything. Based on the new and refurbished prices of other vendors of this camera, I felt that $20 per camera was more fair. When I told them that I would have to let others know of their business practices through rating systems such as this, they refused to give me any refund at all, they became rude (accusing me of "spouting trash"), and they said that I could only get the $10 refund if I stated in writing that I would not give them negative reviews in the future.
To make a long story short, 3btech misrepresented used/ refurbished merchandise as new, and they were only willing to make it right if it didn't hurt their bottom line. I can only conclude from this experience that this is probably standard practice for 3btech. In my opinion, sites like this are a scourge to internet shopping. They get the customer to bite and bank on the fact that customers will usually not want to incur more time and expense involved in returning the merchandise. I have nothing against used/ refurbished merchandise as long as it is properly represented as such. At least the customer knows what they are getting. However, if you choose to engage in tactics like 3btech, you are just being deceptive!"

"I PURCHASED IN AUG TWO BRAND NEW POWMAX DREAM STAR ATX CASE MODEL #1347-SEL. THE CASES WERE TOTALLY LACKING. I SPENT THE LAST FIVE MONTHS BETWEEN JOBS TRYING TO TROUBLESHOOTE WHY A NEW SYSTEM BOARD WOULD NOT BOOT. I HAVE GONE THROUGH THREE SYSTEM BOARDS, SEVRAL 400MHZ DDR MEMORY MODULES, AND AMD PROCESSORS TO DETERMINE THAT 3bTECH ARE SELLING DEFECTIVE 400W CASES. THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH WHAT THEY SELL. SEE INVOICE #1STCLASSTECH-27385. I DONT CARE WHAT THEY SELL THEIR JUNK UNDER THEY SELL JUNK AND I WILL NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE FOR A THIRD TIME. i WOULD RATHER BURY THEM IN THEIR JUNK. "
