"These guys are excellent I was shopping for a Nikon D90 and came across 24hrdigital.com. I would like to start off by saying that dealing with this store was a pleasure he is extremely Informative and very nice, I priced out the equipment that I was in the market for at my local ritz camera store and they quoted me a price of 3299.99 for a Nikon D90 and a 18-200 Lens and an sb 900 flash plus a bunch of other accessories that I needed. I called 24hrdigital and spoke with Allen. He gave me the entire package plus more memory then ritz offered and a battery grip which was not part of ritzs offer. I read alot of reviews about other companies and personally I've read a lot of horror stories, Yes They sell Accessories yes they sell import models however they don't force you to buy anything that you do not need. In total I saved over 800 dollars and the best part was that my package arrived in 3 days when it was suppose to be there in 7 days, All I have to say is that I will be doing all of my photography shopping at 24hrdigital.com. Thanx again Allen I love the Tamron 18-270 it works great."

"I ordered a digital camera over 2 weeks ago and have not received it. I've tried calling and emailing 24hrdigital.com but get no response. When I ordered the camera they emailed me telling me that they received the order and it should arrive within 9-12 days but did not give me a FedEx tracking #. I can not get in touch with anyone from 24hrdigital.com to get the tracking #."

"This is a disreputable company. How they run their business may be illegal, if not, it should be. I don't have any "axe to grind" with this company, I just don't want anyone else to get screwed like I almost did.

My experience was very similar to the other bad experiences that people have described here. After placing my order I received an email from 24hrdigital to call them so that they could "verify" the order. As others have said, this verification was really a sales pitch to sell me unnecessary accessories. I don't know whether they were over-priced or not. They said the standard battery included with the camera was only a "30 minute" battery, whatever that means, and I really needed to order an upgraded battery for $42. FYI, Nikon says the standard battery is good for approx. 210 shots, which I think should be adequate for most people. They also tried to sell me an 8GB memory card for another $42. Again, probably way more than the average consumer needs. I agreed to purchase both of these accessories but called backed later to cancel when I realized I didn't need them. They continued to try to sell the options and haggle about the price. When I said no, they informed me of a $35 shipping insurance fee for the original order that, regardless of their assertions, was not clearly indicated, maybe in the fine print somewhere, but this extra charge was not shown either in the invoice when I completed my order or in the "order details" that they emailed me. I should have known something wasn't right when I couldn't print a copy of the invoice.

Don't take a chance on the excuses included in their responses here. There are plenty of other places to shop. Shop elsewhere."

"24 hr digital is a complete scam and has some of the worst customer service I have ever come across. If others are treated the way that I have been the company should not be in business. I would strongly recommend against purchasing anythign through them. I placed an order for a Nikon camera and when I called to confirm the order I sat on hold with horrible music for an hour. The call was repeated on several different occasions over the next 2 days and the same thing happened, even when I called to speak with Chris directly. E-mails were not returned. Finally after getting in touch with the company, they kept trying to add additional "supplements" and jacked up the price of the camera. Nearly 2 weeks after placing the order the camera still had not been shipped, at that point I called and cancelled my order and the conversation was very abrupt with no concern for my happiness with the purchase. I would rather spend more money with an honest company that cares about their customers. I am very disappointed and would strongly discourage anyone from using this company."

"Purchased a D90 with a lens package. Placed the order online. Received the order as well as a few upgrades in less then 7 days A little slow being that I live in Stated Island and they are in brooklyn. Would do business with again because they saved me over $300 from my local best buy. Thank you 24Hr Digital.

"I ordered a Nikon lens on November 29 for by far the cheapest price online. Unfortunately I did not research this company much. After 3 days of no response, a salesman (Ralphaez?) called to "verify" my order. He immediately went into a "bait and switch" trying to talk me into a "better" Sigma lens. Said that Sigma actually makes Nikon lenses. (Two weeks later I talked to a Sigma rep at a local camera store who, not surprisingly, denied that.) I clearly told the salesman I only wanted a Nikon lens. He continued to talk me into another lens, which I thought was a better (presumably USA model) Nikon lens and I agreed to it. But that night I finally did my research on 24hrdigital and promptly canceled the order. It had not been shipped or posted to my credit card, or even confirmed with the new lens. Ralphaez called the next day to ask why I canceled and I told him that I am not comfortable with their business practices. He went into his "we want you to be totally satisfied" speech and tried to get me to research this Sigma lens online with him. Turns out he was actually going to order the Sigma lens, not the Nikon USA model I thought we agreed to. I was at work and could not take time research then so I said I would research on my own and get back to him. But I did not want to buy from them and did not call him back. So the next day he processed the order for the Sigma lens WITHOUT my approval! And this time it did hit my credit card. I was beyond livid. By this time they were closed for the day and I woke up early the next day to call and cancel before they could ship it. I finally did cancel and got confirmation of that. By then it was December 5. As of December 13 there was still no credit posted to my credit card account. I called and then got an email confirming a credit was due. Now it is December 30 and there is STILL no credit posted. I called and was told by Harry that he would FAX me the credit slip in 5 minutes. After 15 minutes I called back. "5 more minutes" they said. That was another 15 minutes ago. Now Jack says he will take care of it right away. I'll believe it when I see it!

PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH 24HRDIGITAL.COM!!! Unless you are happy going with the bait and switch and high priced accessories and extended warranties they push on you, you will not be happy with their service.

BTW, I am thrilled with my new Nikon D7000 and 18-200 mm VR II lens that I bought locally during a "no sales tax" sale. Given the local service, that is a better deal than online!"

"Someone needs to get the word out about these people. They should be investigated for fraud...everything that has been written has happened to me. They are dishonest, aggressive, bait and switch and nasty. They need to be closed down."

"I purchased a camera for my Mother and paid for expedited shipping. On the day it was supposed to arrive, I called to see what the status was. They told me they had "sold out" but could get me another one for a significantly higher price. They tried to bait and switch, which is illegal and they will be hearing from my attorney. This is a HORRIBLE company and I will never order from them again. I also will tell EVERYONE I meet about the horrible service."

"BEWARE!!!! worst service ever! don't believe cheap prices... this is a scam. they won't process until they speak to you and then they aggressively try to upsell (including lying about cam specs to try and persuade). when I said I didn't want anything but the camera, the salesman threw a hissy fit and snapped that I'd have to wait 3 months for it as it was coming from "overseas"(on a rowboat apparently). he eventually called me a bitch and hung up. nice. "I ordered a Nikon d3100 for $499 and the memory card the website suggested for $34 for a total of $533. I didn't receive any email so I emailed them to make sure my order went through. I got a call today to confirm my order. I was told I ordered the wrong memory card, but he could fix that for me and add one that cost $140. Then he told me that the battery it came with only lasted 30 minutes but I could go ahead an order a better one. He told me my final charge was going to be $774, after I told him I didn't want the battery. So how is $499 + $140 equal to $774? I cancelled my order. Then I got a reply to my email stating the camera I had ordered was backordered for 20-30 days! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!"
