1StopCamera.com went ahead and shipped the order on the same day under UPS tracking number 1Z007FX10358327243.
1StopCamera.com had to reroute back the package to our location due the fact that our company was advised by ups that the item has been damaged.
On the 08/26/09 1StopCamera.com sent you replacement shipment under UPS tracking number 1Z007FX10365988338.
On the 09-04-09 you have informed our company that the new shipment has been damaged. We have scheduled a damage inspection with UPS that very same day.
Please be advised that:
1.You have chose “ground delivery” which takes 14-21 business days from the day that the order has been placed and as you can see by tracking it the shipment did arrive in a timely manner.
2. a) According to our policy “In the event that the item is damaged we need to file a damage inspection with the shipping company”.
b) Upon a pickup on the damaged unit then a replacement can be shipped out.
However, the Customer Service Representative Bobby offered to make an exception and sent you a new replacement shipment on the 09-04-09 with free express shipping and you refused his offer.

Our records indicate that you have placed your order on our website for a Garmin 0100077700 Foretrex 401 Personal GPS system on Dec. 4th 2009. You have attempted to use a coupon that is not valid when placing an order through the website with PayPal. You have called our company on Dec. 11th 2009 and reported that you did not receive the $10 coupon and requested that the refund will be posted immediately. Our Customer Service representative Simon informed you that he will go ahead and honor the coupon for $10.00 and it will be posted to your account the same day. Due to the fact that you have paid with PayPal and not a credit card, the $10.00 credit took 5 days to be posted to your PayPal account.
We greatly apologize for any inconvenience caused by this uncommon situation, and we assure you that we would never intentionally cause for you to ever be dissatisfied with our services.

"Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company recently. Placed an order for a Nikon D70s plus Nikkor 18-70mm lens plus memory card
and bag and tripod and cleaning kit.
Price quoted for the pack was excellent even beating their own website for the camera and lens only!!(obviously no intention of selling the pack at the quoted price). Received an email from JoeyG 'out of Brooklyn' asking that I call to discuss the order. When I called he says that the lens in stock was a plastic lens(?) from some unknown manufacturer and that I obviously wanted the glass lens but would have to pay more for that. When I read out the order details quoting the Nikkor 18-70mm description he got irate saying he didn't have it(this is a very common lens these days) and that I would have to wait 3 months and pay more for it when it arrived. When I got irate he said I should buy from someone else and he would cancel the order. He then hung up the phone. When I called back to speak to 'Customer Services'. Another 'salesman' picked up the phone and promptly hung up when I asked for their customer service department.
Steer very clear of these crooks, they should be put out of business as soon as possible for these practices."
