"I have light strips in my bathroom that use festoon base 5 watt bulbs, about 160 bulbs in total. One by one they burn out, and I replace them with the spares I have on hand. After about ten years, I was down to my last couple of spares, so I decided to find more.

After much searching, I ordered 50 of them from 1000bulbs.com for a total of $74.93, including shipping. They arrived quickly, and they looked exactly like the ones I already have. However, I foolishly did not test one of the bulbs. When I did try one, long after the 30-day return period, I discovered the color of the light they emit is completely different from the the rest of the bulbs on the light strip. I called Customer Service, explained the situation, and politely asked to return or exchange the bulbs. The rep said I could not return them because of their 30-day return policy. I accept that, since I know I waited far too long. Rules are rules.

I told the rep that the most important thing was finding the correct bulb, even if it meant buying them all over again, and she connected me to an account manager. The account manager told me they had six different manufacturers of this particular bulb, and each of them might emit a slightly different color of light. I asked to purchase one of each, in an effort to find the color that matches the other 159 on my lights strip (rather than replace ALL of the perfectly good bulbs). Once I found the correct one, I would buy at least 50 of them. The Account Manager said, "no, we can't do that."

In the end, 1000bulbs.com showed no sympathy for my situation and exhibited no willingness to help me find a solution, even though I was willing buy the bulbs a second time. They just refused to help. Count me a very dissatisfied customer."

"when ordered things get here quickly awesome . when you don't have what I ordered it takes 3 days to email that you don't have it after I have done paid for it then you don't refund just say we will ship when comes in when looking into further I found you didn't expect to get for almost 3 weeks. your company should rethink this policy internet buyers will go somewhere else and you will lose customers. thank you. your company does such a good job shipping I don't see how you could improve on that it is fast"

"After much searching for a bulb to replace our halogen PAR20 spots in our frame display cabinets we found these. We sort of liked the color of some of the CFLs but they are longer and stick out from the socket and cast unpleasant shadows. Our display manufacturer recommended the Toshiba 9P20/830NFL25 and they are great. Good color for us and perfect fit lengthwise and cool to touch. No more warped frames!

Good customer service when it was realized they were "mailed" to our physical address as opposed to our PO Box. They reshipped replacements at no charge. Thanks 1000bulbs.

If they are really as energy efficient and long lived as advertized we have our replacement bulbs.

Just ordered 12 more to start the change out to all LED bulbs."

"1000Bulbs is such a good place to buy bulbs and lighting equipment that even my electrician recommended it to me -- unprompted. I have purchased bulbs of all kinds over the last several years as I replace my inefficient incandescent bulbs with CFLs and LED bulbs, as well as difficult-to-find oddball halogens for bathroom sconces and track lighting. They have excellent service. Here in Colorado I get delivery in about two days for most items. And their prices, even with shipping charges, are comparable to brick-and-mortar retail stores. In many cases, the prices are considerably less. My recent purchase of eight "circline" fluorescent bulbs cost about 5x cheaper than my local hardware store! Most recently I bought a dozen LEDs for a substantial bargain price. Good prices, a broad selection, and fast service ... what more could I ask for? "

"Excellent selection, prices, information and images. Quick delivery with no problems. I wanted an unusual under-counter high-efficiency warm-white slim fluorescent tube (F21W-T5-830), and 1000Bulbs was the best source I found. No local lighting stores had it."

"I recently purchased numerous light bulbs from 1000Bulbs.com; when the package arrived I discovered that three of the DEC-101480 bulbs had broken during shipment. All other bulbs ( I'd ordered three different types of bulbs) were fine. I contacted 1000Bulbs.com and the gladly refunded me the cost of the three bulbs, no questions asked!
