Purchased a CANON EOS DIGITAL REBEL. Had a problem submitting the order through their website. Called and gave the order on the phone. Everything was handled professionally. I found that circuit city had slashed the price for the camera couple of days after they shipped the camera. i called them and they credited the amount. Watchout, cameraworld may not match the price of another retailer but only go as low as they could which was $30 more than what circuit city was offering but I would have ended up paying tax with circuity($50-$60 or more). Overall very nice experience and would definitely recommend shoppnig here.Eventhough the stuff here are priced a wee bit more than those NY/NJ based internet stores, cameraworld is more reliable and authentic.

FORGET ABOUT THESE GUYS! They are no longer the Cameraworld of Oregon that we all loved. They are now owned by RITZ CAMERA, so forget about decent prices, service, or professionalism. You are now dealing with typical retail hacks. What a shame.

alas! Cameraworld really isn't cameraworld anymore. In the past they were far more competitive, but now they are another Ritz puppet. The service I am sure, will always be as good as before, but their prices just don't compete with the east coasters. I used to love 'em!

WARNING:
When viewing the ratings of CameraWorld.com, please take them with a grain of salt. CameraWorld was acquired by Ritz Camera at the start of May, 2002. Any good vibes that Camera World of Oregon were giving there customers are probably no longer valid. See the comments on Ritz Camera to see how the company will actually respond.

Great customer service, great prices. I had a hard time finding a certain ball grip head in stock through local stores. Found Cameraworld, called to verify stock and was impressed with their helpful attitude. I received the product before the local stores could even get it in stock, and I got a much better price as well. Highly recommended.

This is a great company to deal with! My experience with them goes back to mail order days. Their web site has had some problems that have been ironed out in the last couple of years. The good news is that their phone support has always been and continues to be nothing but excellent.
I have gotten some incredible deals as well as paid very fair prices from these folks. They are honest about availabilty and prompt with shipping.
You might save a few bucks from some other unknown web supplier, but if you want to order without fear this is the company for you. Highly recommended!!

I ordered a Minolta Dimage 7 late Monday night and selected two-day delivery. The order was processed the next morning and I received the camera UPS Blue Thursday afternoon. I was considering purchasing an imported model from another merchant but, thanks to this website, I didn't take the chance. I resigned myself to paying $1499 for the USA-warrantied model but saw that Camera World had 10% off all digital cameras, so I got the Dimage 7 for $1350. I have since recommended them and would definitely buy from them again.
