I pre ordered this game with the expectation of being able to play it the day it launched (was available in brick & mortar stores). Clearly, I was wrong. Two days after the retail launch, still no game. Tracking the shipment gives a benign and ambiguous status, and I'm left with no game, and buy.com holding my money.  
 
Going to buy the game from a retail store today and will refuse their shipment, assuming it even comes today. In the end, I learned my lesson to never pre-order a game from Buy.com.

I ordered a netbook computer from this seller and received it 24 hours later although I had only paid for second day shipping. I have had two other excellent transactions with them and had no problems whatsoever, including one order I had to cancel. Their prices are among the lowest and service is first rate.

I ordered a computer. Two days later it was not shipped , so I canceled that order, then I got confirmation confirmation email from them. However, a day later, I received another email, claiming it was shipped. Then buy.com emailed me, apologizing and promising that they would refund my return s/h cost, or I could refuse the shipment. I returned the item unopened. So I emailed buy.com regarding the refund for my s/h cost at least five times. They still refused my request. They did not even give me a way for me to forward their original email back to them. Their web form for customers' questions has a limit of characters, not enough to paste the whole email on the form. For several times, their customer service resend me the pre-made email answer to answer my question. I used to order quite some items from them. I am losing my confidence at this company. Avoid with this retailer. Go with Amazon.com, newegg.com, Jr.com if you want to have worry-free shopping experience. The ratings here are very helpful and honest based on my observation. Visit resellerratings.com to see the ratings before you shop. We need to reward good retailers by shopping them, and punish bad ones by giving them deserved trouble in return. Anyone who knows the county court address, please post here. I believe I can get my money back , plus my compensation for all court cost and my time.

Ordered Bluetooth Headset with Car Charger, Only received the headset, the car charger never came!!  
I contact them and they told me that the car charger is sold-out and they cant ship it.  
This is not my problem i paid for both of them if you can't send both, cancel my order!!  
VERY AMATEUR  
This was the only time and last tome i shop with buy.com  
 
 
Update:My order was almost 2 years old, I am very surprise that buy.com refund my order even its has been a long time, i got my money back, Now its time to give them a second chance, they deserve it.

Their website showed a picture of two Cerwin Vega bookshelf speakers and advertised a price of $71.99. I checked with another site (a1components.com) to compare the price. The other company clearly indicated they offered a pair of the same speakers for $75.99. So I ordered from Buy.com to get the better price. I received an email saying my speaker had been shipped. Yes that's correct, the price was for one speaker, although the website illustration pictured two. Buy.com explained that they offer the best price avaiable at the time. WOW! nearly 100% more than a1components.com, that's hardly the best price.  
What a bad first experience with a company.  
I will not accept delivery of the speaker and will dispute the charge to my credit card company. Their cutomer service is a joke and never directly addressed the issue, they just kept sending me emails saying how hard they try to satisfy their customers. One way or another I'll get my money back and scratch it up to a lesson learned. Make sure you know what you are paying for and beware when buying from Buy.com.  
 
PS: The replacement that I was sent from Buy.com was a $5.00 gift certificate. Sorry, but that won't change my response. The speaker came today and I had it returned. I spoke with my bank and they assured me that if my descriptiion of the circumstances is accurate and I don't soon get a refund, the funds would be returned to my account.  
This company just doesn't get it. Deceptive advertising and overcharging is no way to satisfy a customer. I buy a lot of merchandise online and they lost my future business and please stop insulting me with that phrase "your satisfaction is our #1 priority".  
 
11/19/09 They promised to send a refund within 48hrs. If this holds true I'll edit this post and give them credit for returning my money. I'm waiting to see if they at least try to correct their bumbling this sale. I'm willing to forgive and acknowledge that they may not be hopeless and maybe I somewhat overreacted.  
If I fail to get the refund, OMG I'll be back with a vengence.

Great seller! Not sure why there are so many negatives. I've ordered two thing from them in the past couple of weeks. Shipping is extremely fast, items have arrived as described, and the prices are great. That's all I need!
