The process of buying from Ritz Camera is exactly what internet shopping was meant to be. I received a prompt email confrimation of my order including a tracking code and a link directly to where I could track the item.  
 
The item was listed as in stock and it was.  
 
I did not select any expedited shipping method and still recieved the camera, a Cannon Optura PI, three days after I had placed the order.  
 
Thanks to the comments on this website I avoided the reported pressure sales tactics to buy accessories and the incorrect "in stock" labels and months of waiting for the item that some camera sites have been accused of.  
 
The price was comparably competative but not the lowest possible that I could find on the net, but in my mind I definately recieved my moneys worth when considering the entire shopping experience. The shipping label included a return label but as an added bonus I had the option to return it to any Ritz Camera retail store. In my opinion you can shop Ritzcamera.com with confidence.

I got confirmation that my order was shipped almost immediately via E-Mail. I had ordered two of the same camera so Ritz called to verify that I really intended to buy two. The telephone people were very nice and apologized for calling to verify. I will buy from them again.
