On Oct 10th I ordered an 8GB microSD card that was listed as "In Stock - Usually ships in 1-2 business days" it still has not shown any evidence that they are ever going to ship it. I have used their on-line chat on two occasions and the people on the chat line act like they are on another planet from the warehouse. They can not give me any kind of idea when this item will ship!! Avoid this seller like the plague! This review was modified by its author, gekaver, on

I got a gift certificate... I would have been better off burning $225. I would have had more fun. If you do anything you will hit the BACK browser button if you should find yourself at RitzCamera.com... I placed my order, used my gift cert. and am still waiting for my stuff after 2 and 1/2 weeks. Got a confirmation that the order was placed but nothing after that. Contacted customer service twice...first time they told me order was tied up in shipping. Second time that the order had been cancelled.Funny, no one emailed to tell me or refund my gift cert.... I am so tired of the run around. I would have paid my loved one not to give me the gift certificate! Stay Away!!!!

Avoid like the plague! I ordered a TV from Ritz Camera and decided I wanted something a little bigger so I called and canceled my order before it shipped. Later in the day I get an e-mail claiming it had shipped anyway so I called and asked why it had shipped and the CSR told me they didn't forward the cancellation to the shipping warehouse in time but assured me I wouldn't be charged a restocking fee. Days later wondering when I was going to be credited for my return I talked to another CSR who told me the TV had to be returned to there warehouse before I got a refund. I asked her where my order was now and she claimed she didn't know and would contact me within 48 hours. 72 Hours later I decide to call again to follow up because I got no call from the last representative, I talked to the first semi-honest CSR since I started this nonsense who informed me that last CSR never contacted the shipper and that I would be charged a $190 to return the set even though I canceled before my item shipped and he also didn't know who shipped my set (where the hell did the tracking number come from that they e-mailed me?). Now since today is Friday he said the earliest he could give me shipping info was Monday and that they did indeed ship the item and it was on the road. What? How would he know if he didn't even know who shipped it? The item supposedly shipped on the 10th and I still have no word of a location on the 18th or if has truly even shipped yet. Pathetic. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CLOWNS!

Please avoid doing business with this company, they are not reputable. I placed an order for two hairy stylers, received only one, and am still fighting for credit. They do not return phone calls, I was not allowed to speak to a supervisor, they are horrible. If you value your money, do not place an order with these idiots.

I placed an order on 8/16/09, the estimated shipping time was 1-2 business days, but 2 weeks later there was still nothing shipped to me. I called customer service and they said they would check with the warehouse to see what the status on the order was. 30 min later I get an email saying that my order was canceled because the price that I purchased the item was too low. I called them back and spoke with the same guy, but he said there was no chance to get the item shipped at the price I had ordered.
This is ridiculous. I thought Ritz Camera was an excellent merchant and was about to order an expensive DSLR camera from Ritz, but not anymore. I will make sure to share my bad experience with my friends and won't be back to their website or stores.

I do alot of shopping on the internet. My recent experience with the RitzCamera.com website was poor. I would not recommend buying from this site.
I ordered Sennheiser PX 100 headphones on 08/03/2009 for $31.15. Ritz Camera cancelled my order on 08/10/2009. No more stock at $31.15, but I can place a new order at $44.18.
OTHER FUN FACTS
The Ritz Camera Order Status page was unable to find my order information (I checked daily).
The Error reporting link on the Order Status page does not work.
The 1-800 Customer Service line is answered overseas, and the represenatives were unable to help.

Ordered a Canon XT1i bundled with a canon printer (free after $300 rebate). Get a notice that camera and printer is on back order. Camera shipped 7/29/09, received on 8/3/09 but is a Canon XSi in a Canon XT1i box! Called customer service, told them I wanted the right camera shipped. Was first told I had to cancel that order and place another one. Since this was a bundled order, that did not sound correct and I insisted on them fulfilling the order as placed. Item returned but instead of shipping the XT1i, I was told by customer service they do not have these cameras and the order was refunded. I called back immediately to a sales representative to see if they have them in stock and was told yes, they did have them. When I explained my situation, I was then told there was nothing they could do, period. I insisted on speaking with a supervisor (Debra) but she said the same thing, she would have to put it up to her supervisor when they "returned" on Monday, (today). No call from them. Over 2 hrs later and 5 phone calls, it is clear, stonewalling and unethical business is the name of the game with RITZ Camera. Now they send out the printer and want me to pay $300 for that, but have no intention of sending the camera for the price I originally paid for it, as advertised....
I was raised to be a trusting person, but companies like this should be put out of business. I have learned my lesson. Spread the word.
