Well, I would like to have been the person to say I didnt get screwed! But evidently this dog doesnt know any other tricks. This has got to be the most crooked, deceitful, lyingest bunch of thieving bastards Ive ever come across. Since my story is a repeat of everybody elses Im going to keep it short and sweet. I placed an order for a couple lenses and a battery grip for my EOS 20D. I got the same ole same run around call to confirm your order bs that everybody else gets. My original invoice was for a total of $610 which included shipping for the 50mm f/1.4 and 75-300mm f/3.5-5.6 and the BGE2 battery grip. After a week of calling and spending a serious amount of time on hold with these idiots nobody could ever explain to me how the hell they justified charging my credit card $829.00?! Well I called them back and told Idiot_01 to cancel my order he promptly started arguing with me about how I wasnt allowed, how it couldnt be done, blah, blah, blah, were all just trained monkeys blah! I informed him unless they wanted to be out the cost of the shipping as well, to cancel my order, if they couldnt provide me with a tracking # it obviously hadnt shipped and since Id been told on every occasion where Id reached an Idiot_01 that my order shipped on 4 different dates, I was sure it hadnt shipped.
Ive mailed a 4 page detailed log of the week long fiasco with these morons to my credit card company. I actually DID get a UPS tracking # from them 3 days after I told them to cancel the order and not to ship it. Some people never learn I guess. Thankfully UPS being the highly trained professionals that they are sent the package back to Infiniti like I asked them to. Bottom line, these people will rob you blind if you let them. I would treat Infiniti with the same mentality as I do Drugs
JUST SAY NO!

These guys are shady!! Can you say bait and switch?? I ordered on the 8th and on the 21st, they call to confirm my credit card information. I had already canceled my order, by emiail, on the 20th. Why? Because they do not respond to email! I've tried a couple of times. I've called them and been on hold for 5-10 minutes and never got anyone. Customer service is horrible.
When they finally called today, it was to hussle me to buy extra stuff I did not ask for, I did not want..and he tried no less than FOUR times to hussle me. When I told them I wasn't interested, he then did the 'ol bait n switch....AFTER I had told him it was a gift. Suddenly, the camera that was in stock was out of stock and would be two to four weeks before they could ship! Absolute scum!
This is a classic bait and switch folks! Stay clear of these guys at all costs...they only want to scam you why claiming they offer low prices so they get listed high on sites like froogle! Seriously, these guys need to be put out of business by their local state of the FTC.

I ordered a Canon SD-300 camera on 12/10 for Christmas with 2 day air. When it had not arrived by 12/15, I called THREE different times and was on the phone for over 1 hour each time. Each time someone answered and when I gave them my order number, told me that they were transfering me somewhere else and then disconnected me. I have called Visa and complained and now I am having to pay extra for overnight delivery. DON'T BUY FROM THESE CLOWNS!

I ordered a Pentax *ist D SLR Digital Camera [invoice # 36300]. I won't go through all the details but the MO is the same as happened to others -- call back to confirm order, than a hussle regarding flash card, batteries, etc. Once they got my credit card number they did what they wanted; they even dared me to complain to the crerdit card company or file a complaint with the NY Attorney General -- "we have your money and there is nothing you can do....". I lost $300-400 to these very slick rip-off artists. I did file a complaint at the NY Attorney General site: http://www.oag.state.ny.us/online_forms/complaint_alert.jsp
Please do the same if you have been scamed by these people so hopefully they will get shut down!

I ordered a Canon ZR100 camcorder, and then read the reviews for this company. BIG mistake! Like other people said, they called me up 2 days later to confirm my order. They said I had to buy a battery. I said I'd just get one on eBay and they said if I didn't buy one the warranty wouldn't be valid.
I told them that their site states their products are "factory fresh" and I asked if they came from the factory with batteries. They said no even though ANYWHERE else, it comes with a battery in-box. I asked them to cancel my order, they said "okay" and hung up.
This company OPENS THEIR PRODUCTS, and REMOVES THE BATTERY/CHARGER. Then they make extra money by forcing you to purchase your own battery separately. Very illegal, and I may file a claim against them or at least report them as a fradulent company. I urge you all to do the same.
STAY AWAY!!! This review was modified by its author, TheRoper, on

I purchased the camera online, then called in to confirm. That's when "Adam" told me they would not ship the camera unless I also purchased a battery accessory. Minimum price of smallest battery: $189. When I suggested that I would purchase a battery at a later time, possibly from another retailer, "Adam" stated "No, you can not" at least 3 different times. Of course I can purchase from another retailer: I cancelled my order.

They are based in NY. Alert the attorney general, and report them to the Better Business Bureau. Otherwise, they'll continue these practices.
They are listed at the BBB as "Infinity Cameras". Note that almost half of their complaints are about "selling practices" (36 out of 72) This review was modified by its author, ShiftLock, on

Ordered Canon SD450 camera online from bestpricecameras.com
Six days later a sales rep called to "confirm my order". Company would not honor my order. Tried to switch my order to a kit including an "extended life battery" for about $80 more.
Classic "bait and switch". Terrible company.
Avoid them like the plague.

HORRIBLE! Deceptive, uncommunicative, and rude. I ordered a 450 dollar camera, and they called a week later to ask if I wanted a battery and a battery charger with that. I, of course, asked "Doesn't the battery come with it?" to which the rude representative answered "No, of course not - none of these cameras come with the battery - you have to buy them separately from Kodak for 300 dollars. Fortunately, we offer a deal here - you can get yours for 200!".
Of course I cancelled the order, and would recommend stearing clear of this place. Who knows what vital piece your item will be lacking, that they will want to charge you half again as much as the item to include!

BUYER BEWARE!!!
I attempted to purchase a PV-GS400 Camera, advertised as US Model, with Full Warranty. After purchase was made, they called to try and sell me a battery and charger. Knowing that all US models come with them, I was puzzled and eventually was told it was an International model which would only convert to a US Model by buying a highly overpriced battery and power supply from them. I was pressured by the sales rep to accept this offer and told him to cancel the order because it was not what was advertised. I was then told if I didn't like the offer, he would give me a PV-GS250 for the same price, which I declined. He then said he would ship me a full MSRP US model, which was several hundred dollars more than I had agreed to already. I declined and insisted he cancel the order. I was then told I would be charged $65 to cancel the order and would have to sign a waiver that I would not dispute the charges with my credit card company. Of course this was NOT in their terms and conditions at the time of sale. I threated the sales person with disputing the charge regardless and insisted he cancel the order, period, with no fees. I was also told by the salesperson that he was a certified Panasonic sales rep and that I should take the offer of the PV-GS250 instead because there's no difference between the units, which is incorrect. After 10-15 minutes of arguing back and forth, he eventually conceded, said it was canceled, with no fee and hung up on me. The bottom line?!? The vendor was very deceitful, the product was not as advertised. They tried to assess fees which were not in their terms and conditions and overall it was a miserable experience. Also, if they were a certified Panasonic reseller, Panasonic would terminate their relationship in a heartbeat for trying to sell International models in the US. I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE, based on my experience
----------------------------------------------
Just to see if there was any change, I tried to order the same camera from one of their many alias sites, and had the same problem. They tried to pull the same scam of selling International, or refurbished models. I asked the person if he would be willing to give me the serial number for the unit so I could verify the warranty and accessories with Panasonic. Boy did that set him off. He gave me every excuse under the sun not to give me it and became increasingly beligerant. As a show of good faith, I even offered to allow him to charge the actual product to my card. If the offer was legitimate, there should be no issues. Well, in the end he hung up on me and the order never went through. This review was modified by its author, louis1971, on

the worst experience one can possibly get ever. even Soviet Union treated their prisoners better - first an email asked to me call, then told me it is on back order, one week later, i was told my order was cancelled (with no notice to me whatsoever). the reps are rude and sick. even the voice message was cold (i challenge anyone to find a "thank you" or "please" from that)

Bad! Bad! Bad! I am a professional photographer. I have researched the camera I was going to buy extensively. When I called the customer service rep Adam, tried to sell me a new battery, charger, upgraded card, and a warranty. What I ordered online came to a total of $1208.89 after I talked to him on the phone my total was $1878.32. When I told him that I wanted exactly what I ordered...not a thing more. I can understand trying to upgrade me but when I refused his upgrades and discussed with him other options he told me, "My time is more important that your time, your order is cancelled." Then he hung up on me. I warn anyone against dealing with Adam and Infinity Photo. Everything was horrible and I never ended up getting my product. Their prices are cheap but they won't sell you what you order...you have to upgrade or he loses money.

I placed an order with Infinity and never heard any confirmation on a delivery date. When I finally called them, they said that it would be 6 weeks unless I wanted to get a 3 or 5 year warranty for an extra $100 to $120. If I decided to upgrade it would ship out the next day. When I decided to cancel they just hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional. I can't believe they're still in business.

Like all the other reviews say, this is obviously a bait and switch scam operation. I called to order the Nikon D70s body only, got the standard statement that the Nikon battery only lasts a few shots, they tried to upsell the extended battery which I refused, then a charger, smaller extended battery, and when I refused those a memory card (which I already have, so refused) and when I wouldn't bite on any of those items, an extended warranty. I told them I'd take the factory warranty, to which the salesperson replied that it is "obviously a black market camera at these prices, so I have to buy a warranty or it will have no coverage" at that point I said I might not want it, to which he replied "Good, order cancelled, goodbye" and hung up. Obviously looking to get out of the order if you don't buy one of the overpriced extras. I ordered the camera from Etronics.com for about $20 more, no hassels, no problems. Use Etronics instead of the scam artists.

This company is a bait and switch ripoff artist. After ordering a Nikon D50 from this company, I received an email saying I need to call them regarding the order. When I called, the representative tried to sell me batteries and memory cards, which I do not need more of. Then he said this camera is a "gray market" model that does not include the manual, cable, etc., (and I imagine no warranty) but that I could order the full USA model for much more. I do ALOT of online shopping and have much experience with different vendors. Stay away from Infinitycameras.com!
