I recently made a purchase only to be told I had to wait for 6 weeks for the delivery. All this was made know after calling them more that 10 times and being put on hold or transfered to diff pple for not less that 30mins everytime. They have TERRIBLE and I mean TERRIBLE customer service. The'll simply hang up on you if he/she feels she cant help you.

I ordered a Panasonic tv, model # TH-42PX60U, from this seller's website yesterday. I got an email from "Ted",whose email name was Dave, saying I needed to call back to confirm the order. When I called, he said this model needed a stand or wall mount. This model of TV comes with one intregal to the unit. I pointed this out, but "Ted" said I was wrong. He hung up quickly when he realized I was not going to be fooled. I called Visa to put hold on the charge but there had been no attempt to charge the account. I also talked with the antifraud department but apparently, unless there was a payment made it is not technically fraud. The other posts here had it right; this is not a company to do business with.
Update: 5/25/06
The order was canceled as previously stated when bestprice camera insisted no stand came with the unit. When I said it was pictured with the stand and comes with it in the same box according to all web accounts, customer rep. said "fine" and hung up. Several emails traded to confirm the order had been canceled were needed. This is a very shady opperation that preys on the unsophisticated by advertising prices too good to be true and upselling other "needed" items. Placed another order through PC Connection and although the TV is on back order, my experience thus far has been very pleasant.

After calling to see whether or not the camera I ordered had a battery, I got a really bad feeling. I called back within half an hour to cancel the order, and they were unresponsive. I immediately cancelled the credit card I'd purchased some of the items on. Sure enough, I get a call from a slack-jawed girl in their billing department saying my credit card was invalid. I said yeah, I know. Cool. I got transferred to their sales/ "customer service" (a laughable joke -- it sounded like a stuffy, podunk sweatshop in the background). John Sawyer called me back at home multiple times thereafter (I was working, didn't answer the first few times) until finally I picked up and was harrassed for cancelling my order. I felt like I was dealing with a depraved spare-changer or someone who's suffered severe head trauma. I've never seen someone so desperate for my order/money in my life.

ECHOED SENTIMENT: WORST INTERNET ORDER EVER.

Complete fraud! After I ordered, I got an email to call them back about the order. They wanted me to buy a battery for the camcorder for $180 since "the camera does not come with a battery." Obvious lie. I declined. Days later, I was notified that my order was put on the eternal backorder, all the while the price of the camcorder kept changing on their website and there was no indication that they were out of stock. The price jumped up $90 one day so I called to see if there were any available for me at that price. The customer service rep told me "No. We put it at that price so that nobody would order it."!!! No Joke!
I was able to cancel the order; however this week there were several fraudulent online purchases made on my credit card. Gee, I wonder who could have done that...

They are deceptive and rude. You order a camera as they have a low price to determine it comes with no battery. They call to "confirm" order, then sell you the battery and other accessories which are not competitive and talk fast and low so you are unable to hear. Then when you call to question, you are perpetually transferred around. If you return you are charged 10% restocking of their excessive prices. I am afraid to return as I do not think I will get my money back.

Please take these reviews seriously. They saved me from such ripoff. I found this site after I had placed the order for a videocamera. The price looked great, but the warning I read here was a fact. I got two e-mails. One to call to speed up my order. The 2nd from JOHN (John Adam Sawyer, to call him back to "confirm" my order. I know what I ordered, why should I have to call them? It happened before with a different company, I cannot recall. It was for a camera. Anyway, I knew the trick, so I told JOHN, I only needed the camera, no parts because I broke my brother's camera and it was the same, so I don't need a charger, I don't need extra batteries. Great, he took it. Then he offered extra warranty because if I broke one. I can break this one. Nice try! I am happy with 1 year warranty, I will live with that. Then JOHN said the camera comes with 90 days. I asked "is it refurbished?" Only refurbished come with 30 to 90 days. New equipment has 1 year or more. He said NO, ours come with 90 days. Then I asked. "is this camera on retail box?" He said "NO" and said "I will cancel the order" and hung up on my face. He smelled I was not an idiot. Do like I did or better yet "READ THIS BEFORE you place an order. If you want it cheap, buy it form EBAY, look for powersellers. The ratings at bestpricecameras.com are NOT real. They made them up!!! The people that place ratings at EBAY do exist! They are like you and me! We don't want to be ripped off from garage businesses in the middle of nowhere. This is a TRUE picture of this store. Please read it and learn how these crooks operate! How can this be legal business? You tell me!

I have bought a Canon EF70-300 USM IS from this joint and thought I get a good deal (for some reason I did not research their rating prior to buying from them like I normaly do). The lens was listed at $519 and I would receive a free tripod, lens cleaning kit, and LCD cover protector. When I was gone, they called my wife at home to "confirm" the order. Well, they did their usual tactics and upsold my wife to an order of 729.99, which includes a 3-piece hi-res filter kit, a lens pouch and a 5-year warranty, as well as a hood. Beside the fact that I would not have wanted all this, I thought to check out the deal at B&H Photo and they came up $35 cheaper. Well, I received the package 4 days later and received the lens, the warranty, the filter kit, and the pouch. No tripod, cleaning kit, LCD cover or hood were in the box. I tried to contact them several times but no answer. I went to B&H and quote the stuff I actually received and bestrpricecameras "overcharged" $120. I probably never see any of the other items based on experiences that other people had with them.
IF YOU PLAN ON BUYING FROM THEM....DO NOT....DO NOT...DO NOT.....
If the deal seems better than any place else, it isn't.....
Their practices are borderline criminal and I will try to get everybody informed about them...

4/18/05: ATTENTION-ATTENTION
My debit card was just chraged for $98.96 from a company who verified my credit card info at a Brooklyn cell phone. Somebody authorized several credit cards under that same phone number.
I was a little surprised to find out that the only time I used my card was ar bestpricecameras.com who is based in Brooklyn. They are not only crooks, they also employ them. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO AND STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!

I was very glad to find this company on resellerratings.com before I made a purchase. I am glad you all took the time to post and in return I am adding some info for you and new customers in the future. It does seem like this company needs to be stopped or at least it's right to do business over the internet. Here is a popular bait advertising code that is being broken here. I have also provided a link for the Federal Trade Commision that outlines Dot Com Disclosures.

Sec. 238.4 Switch after sale.

No practice should be pursued by an advertiser, in the event of sale of the advertised product, of "unselling" with the intent and purpose of selling other merchandise in its stead. Among acts or practices which will be considered in determining if the initial sale was in good faith, and not a stratagem to sell other merchandise, are:

(a) Accepting a deposit for the advertised product, then switching the purchaser to a higher-priced product,

(b) Failure to make delivery of the advertised product within a reasonable time or to make a refund,

(c) Disparagement by acts or words of the advertised product, or the disparagement of the guarantee, credit terms, availability of service, repairs, or in any other respect, in connection with it,

(d) The delivery of the advertised product which is defective, unusable or impractical for the purpose represented or implied in the advertisement. [Guide 4]

Note: Sales of advertised merchandise. Sales of the advertised merchandise do not preclude the existence of a bait and switch scheme. It has been determined that, on occasions, this is a mere incidental byproduct of the fundamental plan and is intended to provide an aura of legitimacy to the overall operation.

I ordered a JVC Everio Digital Media Cameraa when I saw at StreetPrice.com that they have the lowest price. But after ordering the item online, just like the horrible experiences of so many, Adam gave me a call and said that the camera does not come with a battery. I even called JVC and was told that it SURE does. Adam insisted and that I MUST buy a battery. I said I was not interested and told him about these comments at resellerratings. He became more rude on the phone, disconected me and seconds later, I rceived an order cancellation email. DO NOT BUY FRON these scums. They are the bottom feeders of the earth who don't deserve a S*$@! Stay away......

They called me trying to get me to buy a battery for the camera (where it comes with the unit everywhere else!!!) If you add in the cost they were trying to sell the battery for the unit costs more than at other e-tailers.

This is a scam site...stay away from them at all costs.

This company advertised a very good price for a Pentax Optio WPi. After I ordered, they sent me an e-mail asking me to "call to confirm." I did so, and "Adam" told me that I needed to also buy a battery and some memory, saying that "otherwise, the camera won't work." I went back and checked the Pentax site, which distinctly says that the camera comes with battery and memory. I also checked prices for battery and memory: Adam was offering to sell them to me at ten or twenty times market value.

When I asked Adam a few simple questions, he became belligerent and argumentative -- and then accused *me* of arguing with *him*!

Do yourself a favor ... don't do business with this company.

I've never had any worse shopping experience than dealing with infinitiphoto.com.
On 2/23/06 I placed an order, and called the next day to confirm whether the product was in stock.
One of the agents told me, 100% positive, that Panasonic FZ30k was in stock.

And on 2/27/06 , just a while ago, I called again, being hold for about 15 minutes, only to hear that it's out of stock, and my order was canceled. What a joke !

That, although a little shocking, would be probably ok if the representative I talked to showed some manner. Instead he was so impatient, that he would not even let me finish my inquiry.

I would strongly suggest anyone NOT to buy pruducts from infinitiphoto.com, they only use low price to attract your eyeballs. Whether you'll get the product or not, only God knows.
And hell, their service sucks.

Got a confirmation on the 11th of February. Emailed 2 times for a tracking number and ship date. Finally called 12 days later and was given the run around (warranty stuff, "Oscar" the sales guy has been out--"for 12 days?" I asked) and was finally told it would be 3 weeks for delivery. I cancelled the order. Don't buy from these cunts.

This company has very shady business practices. I placed an order for a Nikon Coolscan V Ed scanner for a price that was listed at 460 including shipping. Then I get a phone call telling me that I have to pay extra (tax of course) and that he wanted to sell me a warranty. The guy offers me a new version (of the same model) for 120 dollars extra. (Froogle are you serious!) He tells me that the newer firmware comes from China NOT Korea and it is 120 more! But it has the same Specs and the same model number, so I tell him "no thanks, I will stick with what I have". We hang up and less than 15 seconds after I recieve an email stating that they have oversold their stock and cannot sell it to me. This company is horrible, do not purchase from them.
