I called before I ordered and he said they'd get shipments the following week. I placed the order and then 2 weeks of follow ups with them and all they stated was it was delayed. December 6th they said it shipped. I've been trying to follow up with them and get no response to get a tracking number. It's now Dec 28th and I still have not seen it nor am I getting any response from their phone contact or email address. My order does not exist on their website any more. I WOULD NOT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

Over a month has gone by, no package, just "lines" like its on its way or "ships this week", These guys are crooks. Just got an email today 12/26/2006 sayin my "package was shipped to someone else". TERRIBLE service would never buy from them again, 3 xmas presents orderd 1 month before but never showed.

These guys suck! I have ordered a DMS4 Lite 3 months ago and so far no shipment! Numerous emails went unanswered. Phone contact? Forget it! No wonder their rating went down big time. Don't be blinded by the fairly sophisticated website. Nothing behind it! STAY AWAY!!!

Complete fraud! No response. Telephone disconnected. I had to file a claim with my credit card company to get my money back.

Ordered item from these guys and was unable to get anyone on the phone or with email. When I went online with credit card company to dispute charge found a different number and called it first and got a lady that told me they moved and gave me a new number. Left a message and a Darryl called back a few minutes later. Told him I stopped charges on my card and he said he wasn't going to ship then. When I asked about the unanswered phone he said it wasn't working. He said he didn't get any emails, I must have sent 6 at least over two days. The invoice said they were in San Marcos, Ca. The charge card showed a MI phone number. Too fishy for me. If anyone needs a good number 248-941-7363 got a guy named Darryl.

oh my god this company sucks... i will never ever even consider buying a product even affiliated with this company. they are basically scam artists. i ordered a premoded ps2 on dec 23 2004 and didnt even get a response to my emails or numerous phone calls.so i wrote them and told them that i was going 2 send in the paper work for my credit card used and say it was a fraud ( date was around early march). then they all of a sudden, wanted 2 send my a ps2. when i got it it didnt work nor was it what i had ordered. it was an inferior modchip and was priced way less.and so i sent it back. they didnt respond after they said "send it back and u will recive a full refund" for a whole month. so i just called my credit card company and then told them it was a fraud and they got my money back ... boy was that a big headache!!!! never again will i ever buy from them...and thank you visa with fraud protection.  
 
i will never recomend this company to others and the shipping and customer service is non existant.  
took me about 3 months 2 get the wrong product and had 2 file fraud on them....

I placed an order for a premod March 2nd. To this date I never recieved it from them and my credit card company will not let me issue a charge back since it has been over 30 days. I tried contacting TheModChip by phone, e-mail, and even sent them a letter to the address unixmad provided.  
 
The only thing I can do is report them to the authorities and the BBB.

Never got my order, they gave me the cold shoulder with the customer support. Doesn't even approach worth it!

I will NEVER order from them again. I never recieved my product and they did not answer any of my e-mails or phone calls. They also didnt refund me so I had to issue a charge back with my credit card company.  
Im not recommending this store to any of my friends.  
 
[Edit] I just got my modchip today from them, after about a month of waiting and IT DID NOT WORK!!

I bought a x3 ir mod from this place. I aked a couple questions before I bough the item and they responded quickly on aim. They shipped my iyem out next day and it arrived 2 days later. When I got it, it had came with a few goodies like extra parts and even another modchip. I would definitely buy from them gain.

The seller was very helpful and flexible. They were willing to make payment arrangements when their website was not working properly. I placed my order on Wednesday and received it on Friday (two days)... great turnaround even though it was free shipping.

Contacted Shipdpt directly on AIM. I put in my order on Wednesday 02/01/06 and had the items in-hand by Friday.  
 
They had all the items I need in one place and at excellent prices. I wouldn't hesitate to shop with them again in the future given the positive experience I had and easy access to everything I needed.

Awesome communications - had some issues with my CC goign through and they hooked me up like a pro.
