It really sucked to have to call in to place the "online" order. Once on the phone the sales person high pressures you into making additional purchases. Regardless of this, I paid extra for 2nd day delivery for my son's trip to Europe. The camera did not arrive until the 7th day after order, long after my son had already left. I called to the store to ask for a refund for shipping charges. At first they said not, then finally agreed to refund the shipping, since the camera did not arrive in 2 days. I am STILL waiting on that refund. It never came. I did cave an order an extra battery for this camera also, and my son says this extra battery never would charge or work. Faulty products, bad shipping, and poor customer service. I recommend you purchase anyplace else!

This merchant is also known as TechonDigital and J&J Digital - Their invoice was from The Camera Wiz which is why the name has been changed.  
Never order any accessories! They scam you and deal you to death and lie about the "better" products they are selling - but they are the same accessories you can get from the stores and other online stores for a fifth or less of the price.  
They sent a "5hour" battery which was a cheap replacement battery for "half price" I got it for a bargain $50 down from $99. They wouldn't let me cancel my extra battery the same night as the order. I had to talk to customer service which I called first thing in the morning only to find out they aren't available till 11am and they had already sent the item. I was told to call back after the item arrived and then they proceeded to tell me it was a "package deal" even though I was sold it separately, and they would not send me an invoice after scamming me out of my money.  
I called the credit card company and worked out a deal with them and despite the camera being ok I still was not comfortable so I sent the whole thing back.  
By the way the camera was in a generic box and repackaged without a memory card and that was "gray market" according to Cannon.  
Their invoice states no returns after 7 days from purchase and I recieved it 9 days after. But I called them nearly every day to complain and they said they would credit me.  
I am out the shipping back, but have peace of mind that I didn't get a bad product.

I wish I would have found this website before I had made my purchase. It completely boggles my mind how this “company” if they can even be called one, is legally allowed to stay open. I don’t understand how everyprice.com could have ALL positive reviews about this company. Looks like there is a deal between the two companies b/c there is nothing positive about digitalexpo.com. I had made a purchase through digitalexpo.com. As every other review posted before mine, I received an email stating to call to confirm my order. So I call for several days, even calling during operating hours but get answer machine saying they are closed. Finally get a hold of a rude man today on the phone. He asks me what camera I bought... and then I get transferred several times. A man finally gets back on the phone (not sure if it’s the same one) and is very short with his responses. He asks the billing address zip code and my name? Doesn’t make sense. He doesn’t ask any other questions. He tells me that the camera is out of stock and tries to hang up the phone. I stop him and tell him that I didn’t even give him my confirmation #, and he stated that yes I did. I told him that I did not, he proceeds by asking me how old I am and if I’m on crack... and then hangs up on me? I then call back 4 more times... I call customer service and the line for order questions.. and the same man picks up. I ask to speak to a manager.. the man says he’s not in and hangs up. This happens a couple more times. I finally have my husband call in, and he got hung up on. My husband finally gets a hold of the man without getting hung up on, asks him about our order # and the man responds by saying he told him 4 times the ordered has been cancelled and hangs up! I’m just worried about my credit card being charged from previous posts. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!! Major major scam. Looks like it’s an in house business operation with one man running the show with a name change every several months. How is this business still open?

I placed an order on 8/30 via Stargate Photo's website for a digital camera, which had the lowest price advertised by other competitors. On Sept 5th, I checked on the status of this order, and it still just showed "new orders" and no processing date or ship date. Upon checking their website closer, it appears many links have been removed from customer service. It only listed an email address and a "fax" number. I sent an email on 9/5/06 requesting if there is any update on this order. No reply for 2 days. I prepared a fax requesting the same information, and attempted to send fax. The phone line was answered, but I could hear a recording in the back ground. I called this number by a regular phone, and heard a recording that "they were not HOME" and to leave a message. I left a message that I was getting worried about the status of my order, as I needed this camera soon for a high school reunion coming up. I advise him of my email address and a phone number to call. No response to all requests. 9/8, order still listed as "new order". I sent an email requesting that order be canceled, as I will have to purchase it from another dealer, so it will arrive on time. A check of Google with phone number listed, shows number is listed in two names, with Stargate and also name and address of occupant. Did a "hybrid" google search of address, and it reveals that this business is being run from a HOUSE, as photo shows it as a residential area Brooklyn NY. I would never deal with this company in the future. Never once have I been contacted after repeated requests. Scam outfit!!!!

STAW AWAY from this company. They will call you to sell you some extras and tell you what a fool you are for ordering what they had for sale, since something more expensive would be so much better. Then, when you send them an email, you'll find their return email address doesn't work. This is without a doubt the worst Internet shopping experience I have ever had!

I was ripped off. My internet invoice was for $217.30. They called me, tried to sell me more features which I declined, then billed me $329. They did not respond to emails, and refused to refund my money by phone without a 20% restocking fee.  
Stay away from these crooks.

Warning - Poor Customer Service and Credit Card Theft....  
I purchased a Canon Powershot S500 frow Wawadigital.com. The website indicated that this was a new camera for $196.10. The order did not arrive, and I had received some pre-recorded messages asking that I call an 866 number which I did. The website also indicated that my order was on "hold."  
 
Upon calling I was told that I had ordered a "refurbished," camera. I was told that I should order a "new," camera or I would not have any warranty, and that the camera would likely be "scratched." I fell for it and eventually ordered a camera which cost me $249.99 + $25.60 for "Shipping Handling & Insurance," for a total of $275.59.  
 
The sales person also tried really hard to sell me another battery and a memory card. Thankfully I was able to refuse those!  
 
Shortly after completing the transaction I had two fraudulent transactions made on the same credit card which I had used to order from wawadigital.com. I have had to cancel my credit card and am now working on reversing the charges.

A friend had exactly the same camera, and a warranty confirmation card, with the serial number for the camera pre-printed on the card. My camera box had no such warranty card. I really hope I can get warranty service if I need it!  
 
Bottom line.... Don't do business with these people. If you're reading this and have already ordered from them, or given them your credit card info. then watch your credit card statement like a hawk!

I ordered what I told was a new Panasonic FZ30 Camera from WaWaDigital's website. They called me the next day to "confirm my order" then tried to pressure me into buying overpriced accessories. When I didn't buy they stated the camera was refurbished. When I challenged them about their website not stating it was refurbished, they declared my order cancelled and hung up. No one should buy from this company.

I was very dissatisfied with the service of Wawa Digital. I placed an order online, and when I called to confirm the order, the sales representative started swearing at me after I refused to purchase extra items. After that, I said that I would rather cancel my order than confirm it. He told me that I had to send a money order of $55 for a cancellation fee within 2 days or he would call authorities. Their website did not mention cancellation fees, and I told him that it did not sound right. He continued to swear at me and tell me that he had my credit card number and would personally see to it that my credit score would be run into the ground. When I asked to speak with another representative to resolve the issue he told me to "f*** off" and that he was the owner's son, so he could talk to me and treat me however he wanted to. He also told me if I hung up that he would charge the $55 cancellation fee to my credit card. The situation just continued to escalate. I remained professional when speaking with him, although I admit it was very difficult to do so. After 40 minutes on the phone, he hung up on me. I immediately called my credit card company to warn them of possible fraud. It was a horrible experience.

I ordered a Casio EX-S500 from the company. The price was way below anyone else which should have been a clue. I got "the email" to call and confirm the purchase. I had ordered from someone in NY before and got this type of email also. This was a different company though. He told me this was a "refurbished" camera. The site SAYS that everything they sell is new. I mentioned that and he said well, this one is refurbished. He quoted me a price on a "new" one and it was still cheaper than anyone else. I went ahead an ordered it. He did try to sell me a memory card, case, etc. I said no. They are supposed to just send the camera. We will see what happens. After reading all these reviews I call my credit card customer service and requested the # changed on my card. They go by many names, WaWaDigital, Stargate Photo, CameraWiz, Inc. It's no wonder they have to keep changing their name. Don't buy from this store.  
I did finally get my camera on 4/23 after three calls to try to find out if the order had been shipped. The camera seems fine but did come in a plain looking box but having not seen a normal Casio box I could not tell you if this is normal or not. I also was not "given" a free case for the camera as promised when I complained about the "insurance" charge on the shipment.

Not sure what business these guys are in - selling electronics or selling credit card information. Like several others on this site, I "ordered" a camera from Wawadigital. The salesperson called to sell me more accessories I didn't need, and when I politely refused, he said "you will get your camera in a few days". I got off the phone and within ten minutes got an "order cancelation" email saying the camera was not in stock. Because of the shadiness of the entire experience, I went to the web to do more research. Imagine my dismay when I read these reviews! I immediately called my credit card company and put my card on fraud alert. Well just like clockwork, today I got called from my credit card company saying that someone was trying to pass through fraudulent charges. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding this "retailer".

I was very disgusted with the type of service that I received from STARGATE PHOTO. I placed an order and then called in to verify my order then a man told me that the computers were down and that he would have to call me back. He did but then he was asking me all these questions(like what type of battery I wanted and so on) and then kept putting me on hold and then I told him that all I wanted was what I had ordered and then he said that he was going to cancel my order and then hung up on me. Then I had someone else call them back and he hung up on them too. Then we called them back up again and this time we were really upset and let them know how we felt, but this time it was a different guy and once the person that I had call for me started to express their anger, the man from the business started swearing and then once everything got situated, we were told it was going to be a 3to4wk wait cause our camera was on back order and we still haven't received it. NEVER order from Stargate Photo..They are rude and VERY shady..I knew that the price was too good to be true and that there was a catch! NEVER ORDER from them!!!! No one should talk to their customers and treat their customers like they do! I also tried contacting them through email about my order cause it's been almost 4 wks that I've been waiting for my camera and still haven't heard from them. Who know's even if they even exist! I don't understand why people are still allowed to go on the website to buy things from them????? I went to the bank the other day and closed out my account cause I gave them the number that was on my debit card and from what ppl were saying people from the company were making fraudulent charges on other people's credit cards so I didn't want to be in the same situation..the feedback that I read was very helpful for me.

This is the worst store that I have ever found in my entire life for e-purchasing. This store keeps the price lowest & when people places orders. They send an e-mail to call their toll free number to confirm the order. When the person calls this number to confirm the order, the sales person over there treats so badly and uses abusive language and says that "YOUR F'NG ORDER IS CANCELLED"  
My honest advise to all would be to never buy anything from this store.

They contacted us to order more stuff we refused. Our charge card in 2 days was charged up over 900.00 before we were contacted by our credit card company to verify these transactions. These transactions were not made by us. Guess who? Gee I wonder who shopped at the gap on-line, banana republic on-line, pay pal, i-tunes, Astalavista, and last but not least spoof card. I am not done with this company yet!!!! They will pay!!! NEVER give them your CC #..... CROOKS

Purchased camcorder over the phone after confirming price. I refused all accessories offered by the salesman, then was informed that the unit is refurbished. Web site did not disclose it was a refurbished unit. It is a scam to bait you with low price and if company cannot sell needless and over priced accessories, then kill the deal with this "hidden and fraudulent" disclosure.
