Fast delivery and great service/support. Much easier than dealing with IBM. Laptop delivered as promised, with a few glitches which experience fixed. Very satisfied with results.
This was my third purchase from Portable One over the last four months. Four notebooks (two Panasonic Toughbook W2, Portable One MX and Fujitsu S6231) later and I am still very impressed with the service provided. Emails are answered in a timely manner and phone calls are handled by a real person.
My first purchase (the two W2 notebooks) was delayed in shipping due to a stuck pixel on one of the screens. Compared to some of the other high ranked stores and their "Dead pixel policy" this was a pleasant suprise. Portable One waited to ship until they received a notebook with the screen all of us want, one without stuck pixels!
Portable One is not always the least expensive place to shop, but the service they provide is second to none. If you value prompt, courteous service then this is the place for you!
We have been purchasing equipment and repair services from Portable One for over 3 years and have enjoyed excellent service from this company and it's representatives.

From start to finish the entire process was great. Before the sale they answered questions accuractely and quickly via email, the laptop was shipped on schedule and arrived as ordered, and they even called after the fact to check in. There was no high pressure sales pitch, and I got exactly what I wanted for a great price. I recently experienced a failure (that turned out NOT to be their fault) and they bent over backwards to get me up and running quickly. I cannot imagine a more positive laptop buying experience.

I am one of those through comparison shoppers who needed a very fast machine that would not become obsolete as fast as the run of the mill laptops. The Portable One MX is the best from a technical standpoint. The cost for even half of what you get is hundreds less than with others who would attempt a custom laptop configuration.
The care shown by both sales and service is excellent and their support is practically instant. Congratulations on a product that exceeds the “expected” standards of today’s society. Well done!!!
After about a year of watching the laptop market and deciding what I wanted I decided to go with a Fujits N3510. But I had read on a number of forums that the reseller that you use is almost as important as the machine itself. I had heard tons of people mention how incredible the service from portableone is and after checking out their website, I gave them a call and got my computer configured. Tom McCollum helped me customize my machine without any pressure for unnecessary extra's as well as being insightful as far as what things to purchase first and later according to my budget. I was able to get a timeframe for shipping so that I knew the day 2 days after paying that I would and did have my new laptop in my hands. Even now that the transaction is complete I am still in ongoing dialogue with Tom about other stuff that I will be ordering from them. So here it is in a nutshell; you get a live person who actually knows the meaning of the word helpful and who really wants to provide excellent service and quality, I never waited on the phone when I had questions for Tom he was always free within a minute. I'm referring all my friends to portable one.
I originally intended to purchase a Fujitsu notebook computer and read several reviews raving about Portable One's customer service. I called in and ended up purchasing a Portable One MX notebook.
Service was excellent, helpful and most importantly, a REAL person answers every time.
The computer actually shipped and arrived a day early and it is a knockout. ASUS components, great software included, they even threw in a USB notebook light free! The carrying case that comes with the computer is very nice and tasteful (nicer than anything I've ever PURCHASED from Dell).
All in all, a great computer from a great company.
After purchasing a namebrand laptop and experiencing inferior quality, I decided to return it and try one of their custom built models. The build and quality of the machine surpassed the namebrand and PortableOne accommodated my many requests for customization without fuss.
Knowing a person is a phone call away that can answer my questions and take responsibility for any issue I have, is a pleasure.
After extensive research online and a letdown from HP, I decided to purchase a Fujitsu N6010 from P1. The reviews I found elsewhere as well as on this sight are definately accurate. While they weren't overly vocal during the period between placing the purchase and receiving it, everything went smooth. There was a delay between the order and the shipping of the product, but since I paid with a Paypal e-check, this is to be expected. They were courteous and willing to answer every question I had prior to placing my order. Also, there was NO automated answering system, a REAL LIVE person answered the phone. A great company and I would definately refer them to others.
I recently purchased a Tablet PC from portableone and had a great experience. Order was handled efficiently, updates were given regularly on the status of the order, and all my questions pre and post sales were responded to within 1-2hrs. Overall I've had a very pleasant experience with Portableone and will definitely use them for future purchases.
Ordered Fujitsu N6010 notebook. Excellent service, very fast reply, easy friendly staff especially Ivan Gospich. Really pleasure to deal with. Product delivered on time and with all required adjustments and additions.

I just purchased a Fujitsu S6231 notebook computer from Portable One and I have nothing but praise for Portable One. Ivan kept me up to date with the status of my order and was very responsive to my many e-mails and typically responded within 30 minutes or less. Unheard of in this business. They also had my computer shipped by the manufacturer to them first to inspect it and make sure everything was perfect, which it was when I received it.
I just started my relationship with Portable One. I call it a relationship because I now know that no other company can match there product knowledge and service. I will continue to use Portable One for all my computing needs from here on out. I have to say that their staff goes beyond the call of duty.
As a business student I went looking for the best laptop to suite my portable needs. I stumbled upon Portable One as I was researching Fujitsu products. When I called them I was amazed that Victor picked up the phone within only one ring. No phone tree, no automated system, just a sales man. Victor talked with me for over 45 minutes as he sought to find out my specific needs. I was looking for a fast machine that would boot up quickly so I didn’t waste time in class powering up and down my laptop (Most of my classmates are burdened in this area and I didn’t want to waste the time). He directed me to one of their machines, the Portable One MX. I was unsure if I wanted to go with something I was not familiar with but Victor assured me that if I was not totally satisfied with it that he would exchange it at no cost for the comparable Fujitsu. So I decided to take him up on his word. It didn’t take long to figure out that the comparable Fujitsu was less then comparable. A friend from school happened to purchase an S7010 Fujitsu and after comparing them side by side my friend was no longer happy with his purchase. As for me, there is no laptop of this size that is better. I believe I found the best purchase available.
There service department is equally as astounding. I was having two issues that I found out were user errors, but never the less Tim sat on the phone two different times to walk me through the process of getting my wi-fi to work on campus and installing my Bluetooth software. Most computer companies won’t take the time to deal with software issues; they direct you to the manufacture of the software product. Not Portable One; if they know what the issue is they will gladly help you out no matter the issue.
Over all, Portable One is the Holly Grail of computer companies. They have the complete package for total support. I firmly recommend that anyone in the market for a laptop to give them a call. I am sure they will be happy to take the time to talk with you to help you find the perfect match for your needs. I am totally satisfied with my MX like Victor said I would be and I am equally as satisfied with Portable One as a company.

Purchased a Fujitsu S6321 notebook from them and found them to be very helpful in any questions I had when I was purchasing the notebook. They added a 60Gb (7200 rpm) hard drive and loaded all software & drivers properly. Great group to deal with, and had always been a Dell buyer. Not any more.
Four months after ordering my laptop, the staff at PortableOne was very helpful in assisting me with replacing my laptop with a more silent model. I was pleasantly impressed with them.
The only minor problem I experienced was when I ordered the unit: I ordered a Fujitsu N6010 with a 7200rpm hard disk because fujitsu.com did not have this hard disk. Two days later, I got an e-mail stating that the status my order has changed to manufacturer direct ship and then another one informing me that the laptop was currently not in stock.
Aside from displaying as available an item which was not in stock, the experience with PortableOne was very pleasant; the staff was very helpful in getting me this precise (and rare) configuration, and they went out of their way to make sure that I receive the laptop as soon as possible, even though there have been some problems with my credit card company.
