I placed order towards the end of March - after a month I contacted them. They said they expected shipment of batteries from China any day. Two weeks later, called again and got same response. End of May called again - they are polite LIARS. Assured me that the battery was going to be rebuilt and sent that week. Mid June - new story about change of currency and still waiting on shipment. End of June and end of patience - I asked for my battery back and a refund - was told they would do that. 2nd week of July, I called again - they said they did not know how to do refunds but that they would send me my battery. At that time I disputed charge with credit card company - they are disputing my chargeback and called me last night (AUGUST 27,2008 over 6 mths after order was placed and 2 mths after I asked for refund) to tell me the battery is on the way. I called them and told them I no longer needed the battery - nice guy there has notes from every call. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!
Had the same problem as all the others. No return call, get stuck in the e-mail loop, etc. Finally got through today, they refunded my money via paypal. Here is a cell phone number for the supervisor - 909-268-8741. Call it and depand a refund. Also, they are owned by ebattery, located in southern california. good luck!
Oh June 19, 2008, I ordered a replacement battery for my IBM600X laptop for $59.00. My credit card was charged on the same day. By the end of July, I still had not received the battery, so I called and received a recording telling me to leave a message and someone would return my call. I received no call back. I sent 3 emails to them between August 1 and August 11, with no reply. Today, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I believe that it is fraud to charge the credit card before the merchandise is ready to be shipped. I wish I had heeded the other warnings about this company. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! AVOID THEM!
very dissatisfied with the service to say the least. Ordered and paid for a combo batteries for a Gateway 9500. Only one battery delivered the the excuses began...wouldn't be so bad but I had already paid for the batteries and money deducted from my account. Next no one will answer any of their phones concerning where's my battery..Called June, July, and now august..have left my phone Nr on their answering mach..no luck. so my next action is to call the LA BBB. If that is what everybody else did. anybody has any suggestions would appreciate it. crappy service
Keeping it short and factual: ordered a refill for my laptop battery. After paying the mandatory "2-way priority mail", I received a Parcel Post mailing label. After a couple of weeks waiting for a return shipment notice, I called them. (Email was ignored.) No cells in stock, due to a "prior big order" and the "terrible tragedy in China". Was promised that my order would ship in a couple of weeks when new cells arrived. New date came and went. I called back, and was given a different date, so I cancelled my order. Was promised that my battery would be returned, and my money refunded in 3 business days. Just in case, I started PayPal's complaint procedure (the window of which was due to expire). I got my old battery back, but no refund. Throughout the process, eBattery apparently ignored all email coming from both PayPal and the LA BBB (which I contacted shortly after eBattery apparently ignored PayPal). PayPal resolved the issue in my favor, and the LA BBB gave them an F rating for repeated lack of response.
I had good luck with them in the past. I don't usually tend to write many on-line reviews, let alone negative ones. However, this experience was bad enough that I figured that I should let folks know.
Sent my Thinkpad battery in March 12,and they confirmed receipt March 19. Still no refilled battery back. I've called once a month and been promised repeatedly that they would ship soon, but were waiting for batteries. Now I can't get a response to either phone messages or email, so I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and with VISA.
I have no battery. They got my old HP laptop battery by paying the postage for it. I had to dispute the credit card charge before getting my money back - but no battery. I'm sure its been refilled and sold to someone else. Their current webpage shows a $6 higher charge for refilling my battery, but they never asked me for more money. Only excuses about lack of supply.
On apr 29 2008 I placed my order for a battery refill for my HP computer. This is Aug 1 2008 and still no Batt. I have called many times and only gotten the response that there were no batteries in stock and they were waiting for another shipmentThe respobnse I got on 6 25 was that they would ship by july 7. Calls since then have not been answered nor have they made any cll backs in response to messages left.
I think it is time to take legal action since they do not seem to want to communicate with us.
Are we being scamed??
Battery recharge for Thinkpad X22 battery May 2007. After 10 months the battery died. I returned the battery April 2008. No returns to my e-mails or phone calls. I was able to speak with a very nice technician on June 18, who advised me it would be shipped July 2.
September 24 2008- Received an automated e-mail stating the battery is being shipped.
October 1, 2008- Received the battery! It has fully charged once so far with no problems.
December 8, 2008- cells swelled within the battery and cracked the casing. Had a really hard time removing the battery. Waiting to hear back from customer service.
February 23, 2009- recieved a replacement battery, which appears to be new one made in China. It's been charging for 6 hours now and is at 49%. We'll see how this one does

After placing my order on 5/7/08 I have yet to receive my refilled or replaced battery. After two weeks I did call to check on my order and was told there was a delay due to repair elements having not arrived from China. I was satisfied with the response but still after five more weeks have not received my battery. I have repeatedly called for an update only to receive an automated messages informing me that "all representatives are busy" and instructing me to leave a message including my phone number and my call would be returned. After two messagea and two weeks one has called me back. Email to them is responded to with a form email that instructs me to refer to the website which will answer most questions. It does not answer mine. Where is my battery? I will soon attempt to seek a refund and hopefully my old battery.
On June 1st I sent Battery Refill Dot Com the sum of 129 dollars to refill an Anton Bauer Digital Trimpac 14 battery which is used in a ten thousand dollar Hi Definition camcorder.
I'm a professional videographer and rely on these batteries to get the job done with no hassles.
The website advised me that the average turnaround on these batteries is a one to two week ballpark.
Well, it's been over a month.
They have my 129 dollars, they have my battery, and I cannot get either a return email or a return phone call from the tech support staff.
All I get is a smarmy auto reply email telling me that I should call Tech Support (ALWAYS busy) or check the FAQ.
Today, after contacting the sales manager I was told that they are "extremely busy" and "very sorry". It took me three hours to track down a live person at this company.
Let me make it clear that I am a reasonable person. I can gladly wait for ANOTHER month if I just get some communication from these guys.
I DO HAVE another two batteries that I can work with!
But if I don't get a return phone call or an email, what in hell am I supposed to think?
Like most people I start to think the worst.
Batteryrefill.com has a history with laptop owners and now they're dealing with media people.
They should seriously think about improving their communications or expect to see a news crew at their door. I've now been told that they will ship the battery on Wednesday July 30th.
I will update this review when I get the battery.
UPDATE:
It is now Friday and I have received nothing in the way of a notification that the battery has been shipped and my attempts to contact someone have failed once again.
I will continue to update in the coming weeks.

Ordered a laptop battery refill for my ASUS W3 battery. Here's the timeline detailing how I still don't have my battery:
5/30/08 - Placed purchase, cc charged
6/3/08 - Received email stating that they received my battery
6/13/08 - Received email asking for delay of 2-3 weeks to clear out orders. Said that they didn't have cells to refill my battery and that they couldn't buy more cells because the price of the American dollar was depreciating.
6/17/08 - Requested that they refund me and charge me only when my battery ships out. Got the refund on my credit card next day.
Since then, I have called them to inquire about my battery about 2-3 times. Every time they tell me that there's a battery cell shortage and they haven't done my refill yet. They offered a refund, but that's useless as they cracked my battery open already, essentially meaning I'll end up with a battery damaged more than when I had sent it in. I've decided to just opt for the battery to be refilled whenever they get the cells in, which could quite possibly be in a couple more months.
My problem with them is that I feel like they're giving me the runaround. They claim they don't have cells, yet their website is still accepting orders for battery refills. They shouldn't be accepting orders at all if they don't have cells and can't even fulfill my order from nearly 2 months ago. Overall, it feels like a very unprofessional way of doing business.
Buyer beware. Just be ready to not have your battery for a good while and feel like they're feeding you excuses whenever you call customer service. You might want to look into just buying a new battery, as I don't know whether or not the $40 savings is worth months of not having a battery.
I was looking for a replacement battery for my Gateway tablet computer. Batteryrefill has battery exchange for my tablet model. It is suppose to be a refurbished genuine Gateway battery that they will ship to me and it was the least expensive from everywhere I tried. So, I placed an order. I received the exchange battery about two weeks later with return postage for my old battery pack. It is a really genuine manufacturer’s battery. I can see the battery has been opened and glued back. (I can see glue marks at the edges but it isn’t that too bad). They sent instructions to charge & discharge the battery. Instead, I ran battery auto running procedures under the bois. I am consistently getting around 3 hours of sold battery running time. I am very happy with their service. I feel that it is such a waste to trash wore out but still brand new looking my old battery pack. It is great to see someone can refurbish them and even offer great price for the customers. It is environmentally friendly and great options for anybody looking for replacement laptop batteries.
The Battery seems to work great. I was impressed with running time with the battery. It lasts longer than any other Iv ever had. I think the basic idea of the company is extrodinairy. I just wish their customer service and shipping departments were up to par.
