Absolute rubbish. Ordered on the Tuesday for Friday delivery. Payment did not go through successfully due to bank error. Ebuyer did nothing to contact me on this. Attempted to correct their error by delivering on Saturday (email received). Package did not arrive. Excuse from customer services was that it would only be dispatched on the Saturday for Tuesday delivery. Order cancelled, went elsewhere. Definitely wouldn't use again!

I wouldn't touch Ebuyer with a barge pole or anyone elses!!! We have regularly received second hand goods passed off as new and more recently a warranty that was registered before we even bought a product. Customer service is an absolute joke, promises made and no action taken - you only get to speak to the monkey never the organ grinder!! If you are lucky and get a good item then congratulations. But if you get on the wrong side you will never shop with them again!!!

You only really find out how good a company are when something goes wrong, I had two Tv's from Ebuyer and over 2 weeks later am still waiting for a refund. Their customer service team are a waste of time and also pretty rude. Will not put you through to a supervisor, this is the kind of poor service we have come to accept in this country, and it has to stop, stand up and complain to these idiots when something goes wrong.
I would say in general , they might have good prices but I would rather pay a little extra and know I am dealing with a proper company and not Ebuyer - a Micket Mouse outfit

I started shoping at ebuyer about 2 months ago, having made about 5 orders and one return for ordering the wrong item I cannot fault ebuyer in any aspect. I guess the only time all on-line retailers get bad comments is on fault components, I may have been lucky

My order with ebuyer came to over £1000 and at the end of it I felt really angry. I feel this company is constantly being let down by their couriers, but having said that its ebuyers fault for still using City Link, they are next to useless. I won’t be using them again. I have since used Lambda-Tek and could not believe the difference in service, they were amazing I can’t recommend them enough.

Purchased Canon camera.
The camera, Canon A620, was obviously second hand! It had been used to take over 300 photos before dispatch to me! The first image number was 103-354. The menu settings were personalised and not default. The case was scratched beneath the lens. The camera was supplied with an unused Canon 32MB SD card but the card socket also contained a SanDisk 64MB SD card with 3 shots taken at 12.24 on 27 May 2007. The wrist strap was already fitted. The sticker on the battery side of a new cameras was missing. The Canon box was damaged. I find it hard to believe that their staff noticed none of this.
In spite of all this it worked fine and eventually I got them to refund 50% but I would be wary of future purchases.

I ordered a new keyboard, a new tower, an ASUS P4P800-X socket 478 motherboard, a 80Gb SATA HD and a GRFX card cooler.
It all arrived, later that day i realised that they had sent me the wrong motherboard, it was a socket 775 not a 478. I called them and they insisted that i applied for an RMA number online. So i did that, and saw that the return address was in Howden, about 10 miles from me.
I called them again and told them that im only from near by them so i would come and drop it off and sort out the problem. They told me for security nobody is allowed on site, when i suggested meeting me offsite, they just laughed at me.
After re-iterating the importance of the situation i was left with no option but to arrange a date for them to pick up the motherboard which is the following day).
I asked them to bring the correct item when they pick it up, but chances are they wont, they will waste more of my time by taking it back to the warehouse, then finally sending the item.
I checked the website and the motherboard is out of stock :( so where the hell does that put me ??
Very Very bad business, i advise you to steer well clear of these guys, ebuyer really sucks, no idea of customer services. Im very angry :(
UPDATE - Yeah so they didnt pick up the motherboard today, despite the arranged pick up date, this is the start of a nightmare :( This review was modified by its author, midgar, on

In the TOP 5 worst companies I've ever dealt with!
Ordered some memory from them which arrived D.O.A, returned it (using my time and money).
They agreed it was dead and said they'd send out a new item.
This was sent by untraceable Royal Mail, so it promptly disapeared without a trace. I called them to be told that they wouldn't do anything for 14 days!!!!!!
Why am I paying for a courier delivery in the first place, and then after their item is faulty, being held to the mercy of the worst delivery system in the country!
The worst thing was the attitude of the call centre supervisor, to sum up his atitude the frase "tuff **** now go away" would cover it.
THE WORST INTERNET COMPANY I'VE DEALT WITH!!!!!

I ordered a Gigabyte GV-N66T128D 6600GT 128MB 128bit AGP and a Corsair (VS512MB400) 512MB, DDR400 / PC3200 from eBuyer on Wednesday 31st August.
As I need both these parts to upgrade my current system so that I can start my college course this year, I ordered both parts for next day delivery.
I didn't receive these goods the next day (Thursday 1st September) so I sent them an "eNote".
I got a reply within 5 minutes from Natalie. She said there was a processing error and that it was too late for the goods to reach me today. She refunded me for the next day delievery.
I was then woken today (Friday 2nd August) at 8:35 by a delivery from Intial CityLink. There was only 1 package for me, but eBuyer's website said 2.
I signed for it anyway as I wanted the delivery. It was the graphics card. I installed it and it works fine. No problems there.
I went onto Ebuyer's website and got the link to my job number at Initial CityLink. Their website stated "Order successfully delivered". I felt this was wrong as I have still yet to receive my RAM.
I sent another "eNote" to Ebuyer explaining the situation. Again, within 5 minutes I got a reply, this time from Daniel. He said that the database said there is a delay with my RAM and that it won't get to me until Monday 5th August.
From an order of Next Day Delivery I am now waiting at least 5 days for my product. I find this unacceptable.
Their prices are cheaper than other online competitors but their delievery service is severley lacking.
I will not be buying from Ebuyer again.
UPDATE - Received the RAM on the Monday 5th August.
I'm still highly disappointed with their service. This review was modified by its author, ThomasGibbs, on

Absolutely the worst company on the internet. Cheap, yes! But you’ll regret your purchase when the slightest problem occurs and it will. They are almost impossible to communicate with. No telephone support. Web based Enote and return system is contrived to diminish your rights as a consumer. I recommend you do not purchase anything from this company and tell your friends the same. A consumer strike is the only way this company will learn that customer satisfaction is key, and if they don’t learn they’ll fold.

How I wish!
I ordered a Panasonic DC MODEL FZ20 Black on Wednesday 16th. February 05 at a cost of £350.66 inc delivery. Camera was delivered on time Saturday 19th. via CityLink. As soon as I opened the box I could see from the state of the camera box that it had be knocked about. Carefully opened it ?? I certainly was not the first! The instructions were previously opened and used, the SD card was in a tatty bit of polythene. On inspection the of the card I notice score marks. It had been well used. Not it's self a problem, besides, I would never have used a such a small card anyway. I can see that the camera packaging was not as it left the factory but never mind I thought, it's a probability that it is a perfect RETURN. To my surprise it is a SILVER model and looks in perfect shape. No marks. Look for the battery. Put it in. Dead as a DOe DOe. Now we all know these batteries need charging, but there is always something in them. Where is the battery charger? OK it's there. BUT, it's a 2pin American plug, Not even like the Euro 2 pin plug. So absolutely useless to me without a proper English plug.
I pack it all up and get on to the Ebuyer website.
I get an immediately response. Exactly as one would expect from a reputable web site. Bearing in mind this is on a weekend! When would I like it collected? Monday please and it was collected by CityLink. Absolutely as it should be. I know mistakes can happen with a busy company.
I was particularly keen to know if they were going to replace it with the correct model. So, as well as the all the paperwork, copy E notes, in the box, I also sent a letter asking for confirmation that they were going to replace it or not, with the Black model ordered and with a UK Plug. Because now, the model Black or Silver was not showing up on their web site. I need to know please, I, said, in order to order another from another supplier.
This letter was also sent by recorded delivery which was signed for on Tuesday 22nd. February 05. I sent a separate E note as well asking them to confirm my letter questions.
On this Day Tuesday 22nd. I get an Email to say that they had received the camera and were proceeding as per their conditions of the RMA.
OK fine.
WHY AN EARTH CAN A COMPANY GET IT RIGHT UP TO THIS POINT AND THEN COMPLETELY MESS IT UP FOR THE SAKE OF ANSWERING A SIMPLE QUESTION LIKE
"Sorry we are out of stock. We will credit your account in due course". I pointed out in my Recorder Delivery letter, that the credit was not the problem - in due course would be OK. But no they cant be bothered to answer. As a result I do a search Google for Ebuyer problems. Wow 1000's of dissatisfied customers. I just wonder, will ever get my money back?
How I wish!

This company do offer very competitive prices but when things go wrong, they go very wrong.
I purchased a DVD writer from eBuyer which failed within the first 12 months. So I sent it back and they confirmed that it was faulty and sent it back to the manufacturer for repair / replacement. They said this would take 28 working days. 33 working days later I had no response. So I raised an eNote, 7 working days later no response. I contacted the manufacturer directly, they confirmed that the item hadn't arrived and wasn't registered on their system.
To sum up, if things go wrong after the first 28 days of ownership you'll have a hard time getting a replacement.

I've had a dreadful experience with eBuyer not responding to my eNotes (No phone number on their www, but found 0870 467 0753 on the Internet) and hence my goods being returned.
Email to complain to is:
complaints@ebuyer.com
I'm also writing to their CEO:

Warning!!
Avoid this store (in the UK).
They are uncontactable if you have any problems.
My order was apparantly delivered to the wrong address, and I am now unable to get any response from them.
Their phone numbers are not listed.
Is this legal?
