DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING FROM THEM. Ordered camera at a good price. They then sent me an e-mail stating that the camera was out of stock even though they were still advertising them as available on the internet. After reading these reviews I think they were trying for a "bait and switch" phone call. I cancelled my order.

OMG! This review is for BEST PRICES CAMERA. What a bunch of lying scam artist!!! I ordered the Sony Handy Cam DCR0SR-200, their web site listed the camera for $359.00 But when I spoke to (GI Ship) Salesman I bought from, he said you know you only get a 2-hour battery, but I can get you a deluxe package deal" and you'll get a 5-hour extended battery. I asked if a charger comes with it, he said yeah with the "deluxe package deal" Leading me to believe I would not get a charger, if I did not get the "deluxe package deal. He said, I can also give you some filters (UV, polarizer, Floresent) The price is 649.00 (those 3ea filters sell for less then 20.00 on EBAY).  
So I was fooled. Anyways, when the camera came to my house it was mssing 4 items that were "included items" with all Sony's:handaycam station,A/V cables. USB cables, remote control. When I call the salesman Roy Bitterman, he said, yes you are correct those I tem should of came in the box. So send the whole camera back to us. I asked why did I get the "standard battery-NP-FH60" when that comes with all Sony DRC-SR200's? He, said that you normal get a NP-FH-50 with this deal. WHAT A LIE!!! I filed a complaint with the BBB. And asked for a refund, they said they will give it to me, but that was after I contacted the BBB.  
Terrible company with liers and scam artist! I will be charged 10% restocking fee 65.00, plus I spent 20.00 to ship tem back to store. What a headache!!!

Best Priced Cameras is linked to Broadway Photo who has more than 50+ fraudulent "Very Satisfied" ratings. These places are full of CONS out to rip you off for your hard earned money. DO NOT ever buy from them. I got ripped off by Broadway Photo and after some research, I found out that this place, Best Price Cameras, is linked to them. They also have gone by several other names in the past so be on the lookout! Their tactic is to try to lure you in with their "low price" for FAKE "Imported" cameras and then sell you accessories for 50X the price. Then if you don't buy any accessories from them, they put your order on the status of "backorder"! If you do buy accessories from them, they send you FAKE versions that Nikon doesn't even claim to be theirs. So you are left with a piece of crap on your hands and lots of money down the drain. Many many many new buyers have been conned by these people, so don't be the next. If you recently just bought merchandises from both Broadway Photo or Best Price Cameras, I suggest you contact your credit card companies RIGHT NOW and report your card as lost or stolen to stop any transactions from being processed by these people! These people are currently being investigated. I hope they get caught and put behind bars where they belong.

Everything said about their being crooks is true. Also, I have filed with Justice Department, NY Atty. Gen., USPS, BBB and I have heard nothing. Fortunately credit card company has blocked transaction so I am not out any money yet.

I almost placed an order with this company before i found this site. everyone who has been scammed by this company needs to file a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (http://www.ic3.gov/)

save yourself time and do not bother ordering from this store. After placing several orders I was always informed that order was back-ordered or not in stock and my order was always canceled.

Worse company to deal with ever. Their service is undeniably the one of the most rudest company I've ever dealt with. I cancelled my card and also my order. I advise all to do the same.

This company needs to be stopped. I can't believe they are still in bussiness. Not only did they not fill my order they called us to but batteries and a charger that is of the lowest quality. When we called they hung up on us four times. Can't the attorney genral or someone do something? The reviews on their site are bogus. These people need to be taught a lesson in honesty and manners!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Placed the order for a Canon 400d Body 3 weeks before Xmas. They told me it would be in stock in "2 weeks", called after 2 weeks, they told me maybe 3-6 weeks it would be in and then hung up on me. Called every week after that and kept being told the same thing........3-6 weeks. Just called yesterday (Feb. 15th, 2008) and they said maybe 8 weeks. THESE GUYS ARE FRAUDS. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

We lost $1100 to these losers. DO NOT BUY! High pressure sales, swore at us over the phone, tried canceling the order multiple times, still got charged over full price for something that we did not want to order. Wells Fargo may not cover the Fraudulent act. HELP!

Well, boy did I learn a lesson. Bought a digital and they talked me into getting a bunch of extra shit, which they said would be high quality, nope low quality. Got jacked and when I tried for 2 hours to get a hold of someone I got a guy who only wanted to give me some money back, he insisted that I not return the product. Finally got a real manager and I'm shipping it all back lost some money on the re-stocking fee. Oh well. LEsson learned. If they don't figure their shit out they will be out of buisness soon. They need to learn about honesty and customer service because without these 2 attributes, laters...

Absolutely agree with other writers, completely disgusted with this site. Placed a 3-day delivery order for a Canon lens online, called to check on the status of it and they tried to sell me on a completely different lens. Told thme i just wanted the order i placed and they said it would be... 6 to 8 weeks! And then they hung up on me. Unbeleiveable. Obviuos that they don't actually sell the Canon products they advertise on their site, instead they try to bait and switch to Sigma.

The worst exprience buying online. I bought from them before i read this website. The proce of camera was really good, the lowest online. But then they tried to to tell me that no battery is included. I should buy their battery. They lied about warranty (told me that without extended warranty only 90 days are included). Very agressive and deceiving sales tactic. I think an overall deal was still pretty good... $1850 for Olympus E3 with 5hr battery and 5yr warranty, but I was not comfortable buying from them anymore. They tried to tell me I could not cancel my order and that there was a cancellation fee. They are liars and I wont be surprised they are fraud.

THIEVES, RIP OFF ARTISTS AND TOTAL SCUMBAGS. I fought with them for a year through my Amex card. I ordered a Digital video camera and also asked if it was the American model so it would be eligible for a $500 rebate. They said yes. i also asked if they were a authorized retailer, they also said yes.  
 
Long story short, not a US model, not an authorized retailer.  
 
Personally I think we all should take a trip to brooklyn and pay a visit to these people and "Do unto others as they have done unto us" :)  
 
If this can stop one person from buying from these douchebags then it was worth it. I cannot believe they are still in business and haven't been brought to court on federal fraud charges, mail fraud and a host of other charges.  
 
Maybe a go getter lawyer will try a class-action lawsuit.

RIPPED OFF WITH THESE GUYS. ORDERED A CANON D40 PACKAGE WITH NEXT DAY SHIPPING. THEY KEPT CALLING ME BACK WANTING TO ADD THIS AND THAT. I TOLD THEM NO. THE CALLS CAME FROM A DIFFERENT PLACE THEN WHERE I ORDERED. SO I DID SOME CHECKING ON THE INTERNET, CAME ACCROSS SOME REVIEWS AND FOUND OUT THEY WERE SCAMMERS. I CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND THEY HAD ALREADY SMELLED A RAT AND PUT A BLOCK ON CARD UNTIL THEY COULD CONTACT ME. IT WAS UP TO $3100, FOR A $1200 ORDER. WHEN I CALLED THEM TO SAY I WAS CANCELLING THEY CALLED ME !*#)& IDIOT AND MORE. FORTUNATELY NOTHING CAME UP ON MY CARD, BUT DID HAVE TO CANCEL IT, AND GET ANOTHER ISSUED JUST BEFORE A TRIP TO MEXICO.  
DON'T EVER, EVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.
