A+! The test of an online merchant is not routine sales, but how they respond when there's a problem.
These guys were great! I purchased a $20 tuner/metronome that failed after 10 days. Called on a Sunday, got thru to cust serv immediately. They cheerfully said, "Don't bother returning it; the shipping/handling will be more than the item value. Just toss it and we'll send you a replacement."
And they did. Their trust in me (that I wasn't trying to rip them off) increases my trust in them, and I'll definitely shop there again.

On 4/15/09 I ordered a Nady SMPS-1X Phantom Power Supply from Music123.com with UPS 2nd day shipping. Music123.com shipped my order the same day that I ordered it. The item was delivered two days later (4/17/09) as specified. Shipping was very fast and reasonable. It doesn't get any better than that.

This was my first order with Music123, and it was a great experience! Although it took some time for my order to ship; the prices were great, and the merchandise arrived in perfect shape! My only complaint is that they never respond to price matching requests, or any emails. I will continue to do business with Music123, and would recommend them to my friends. They're quite good!

I ordered a Fender Strato guitar, Amp, etc. from them on the 21st and selected ground payment, and realized later that night i needed it here by friday so i upgraded it to 3 day shipping instead.
I sent the extra money for the upgraded shipping, but it didnt show up till way later that day so it wouldnt ship out in time to be here by friday, i was dissapointed, i called up customer service to see if i could upgrade shipping again, lady at CS asked why i told her it was for a birthday which was true, she upgraded it to free 2 day service to make sure it got here by friday.
So far i have had no problems with this merchant!

I recently purchased a bass w/case from them and was very satisfied with the whole experience. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the negetive reviews, but was pleasantly surprised at the speed and quality of service. I ordered a "open box" item and it came in almost perfect condition. I ordered Fedex ground free shipping late Sunday night and the shipment arrived Wednesday morning. Their prices on the items I purchased could not be beat. Also I accidentally ordered 2 cases instead of 1, when I called customer service they were very helpful and I was only charged for 1 case. I would order from them again without hesitation.

This was an incredible bargain. I purchased a b stock Fender Jaguar for $500. The finish has one little blemish in it, but the guitar plays unbelievably. I paid a little extra for shipping and was very pleased. I ordered Tuesday afternoon, it was here Thursday (Indiana to Duluth, MN). I will purchase from this site again.

Ordered a guitar from music 123 on Dec 27 and received it promptly on Jan 3 using standard shipping. I was unable to track the shipment online as no UPS tracking number was provided. I requested tracking info by email and recieved a very slow response (recieved on 1/6) after the item arrived. This would have been a great experience except for not being able to track the shipment.

I've ordered several times from here, the first being in October of 2007. The site listed 1 cable out of stock when I ordered it, after placing the order I got a backorder notice that 2 cables I ordered were out of stock. I was a little irked, but wasn't in a hurry to received them so this didn't really bother me. Shipping took a few days longer than I expected but I got everything that was in stock within a couple of weeks. In late December they had a sale going and I decided to give them another shot. I placed orders on a Sunday and Tuesday and all items except one that was backordered were received on Friday. Their shipping seems to have gotten a lot quicker than the last time I ordered. One thing that I didn't like was every shipping notice I received had a link to a tracking number, none of these have ever worked... so I've never been able to track any of my orders. Since I've found the site they seem to have good sales and coupons here. This is the one thing that made me come back. I will still do business here despite the tracking number problems I've had. I purchaed a guitar and two sets of strings from Music123.com on March 31, and on April 1 the price of the guitar dropped by $5 as part of an April sale. I called twice to try to get them to honor their 45-day price guarantee but was told each time that because the lower price was a sale price I would not receive the price match.
Also, the shipping rates are based on the order subtotal, and the strings I ordered had bumped my subtotal up into the next higher shipping category. When I found out that both sets of strings were backordered with no estimated shipping date, I cancelled the strings part of my order, but I was not refunded the shipping difference. During my second call I had to explain twice why I should receive a small shipping refund, and the customer service representative agreed to refund the difference. The customer service representatives I dealt with were both polite but incompetent.

I had bought and returned a Yamaha accoustic guitar set three times due to some product defects and ended up not buying at all. But during that process, I had not problem talking to the sales persons and getting RMAs. And I always received replacement before I even sent the previous one back. All in all, I like this site and will definitely use it for future purchase.
