Similar HORRIBLE experience as other users. When I refused add-ons to the Nikon D70, the rude salesperson repeatedly tried to guilt-trip me into purchasing any and all additional lenses, etc. from them because they "were selling the camera at such a low price that they hardly turn a profit." After five minutes of refusing, I told him that he was wasting his breath and that I wanted the camera and the camera only. I was hung up on. Classy. The money was withdrawn from my account, with a charge for shipping after I was promised free shipping. After repeated attempts to get through to customer service, I decided to call again the next day. Mysteriously, the money then reappeared in my account, with no explanation of a cancelled order, or any contact at all. When I finally got through to a customer service rep, I explained the story in detail. Her take on the whole thing was that my order was "probably cancelled after the 'SPAT' that (I) had with the salesperson." Cancelling an order of over grand over a "spat." Right. There was no record of my order number in her system, or so I was told. Mere minutes after hanging up, I received an e-mail stating that the product was out of stock and that I'd be contacted when it was back in stock, with the option of re-ordering.
Not a chance, AVOID.
These guys are scam artists. I ordered a camera on-line, received an e-mail the next day saying I needed to confirm my order. Called and waited for ten minutes. When the "sales representative" did answer he tried to sell me every accessory under the sun. After twenty minutes of not wanting to buy any accessories he told me he could not sell me the camera. The kicker is before I called they held over $1400 from my debit card. Even though they cancelled the order my funds were in limbo for 5 days. Stay away from this company. EVIL
I purchased a Nikon Coolpix 8800 with Accessories kit. The camera came quickly without problem, but the accessories were "back ordered." When I inquired about when they would be shipped, the first person told me within a couple of days, two weeks later I called again, and the next person told me that they haven't received the product from Nikon and wouldn't for one to two months, becuase Nikon was making them yet. Why sell a product in a package that the manufacturer has started making yet? Very dissapointing to say the least.
This was a great store to deal with. My credit card company kept missing the alternate shipping address, and PriceRite worked with me to get the product. It arrived 2 days late, but most of the delay was from AMEX. I do not fault the store for trying to be careful. The salesman was very helpful. We finally got eveything straightened out, and I got my Nikon D70 camera. Everything went very well. I wiold definitely recommend this store, and will definitely look here first in the future. The price and service were excellent. The salesman do not try to pressure any additional purchases, he just inquired as to other normal accessories. I ended up purchasing an extra memory card. (I had to call AMEX 4 times to get my records straight - It was not the stores problem)My only problem, was they were calling the residence number to get me to contact AMEX, when I had left my business cell while traveling.

Customer services was one of the most helpful I have encountered in a long time. Patient and friendly, wanted to make sure that I was happy with everything. Thank you so much. I will shop with them again. I know where I can go for all my equipment.
Placed an order for a Canon GL2 video camera on PriceRite Photo's website. Following day I received a call from them to "confirm the order." The purpose of the call, however was to try to sell me accessories for the camera. I repeatedly told the rude salesman that I wanted only the camera and would absolutely not be purchasing any extra items. He said that unless I gave him 5 minutes of my time the order could not be completed. Since it appeared they had no intention of selling me the camera without padding the price with overpriced accessories, I told him to cancel my order. He immediately said "please hold" and put me on hold. I waited for some time, then hung up. Am still trying to confirm that my order was cancelled. Every person I have talked to (about 4 at this point) at this company has been rude, abrupt, and unhelpful.
