I purchased the Bellawood 3/8 by 3 select Brazilian Koa. I could not be more than happy with the product. I had this professionally installed so I cannot speak to the ease of installation. I can say that the product had very little waste. During the install process some of the boards tended to scratch easily. I kept a close eye during the install process so that I could be sure that those boards did not remain on the floor. The floor would have cost much more if I purchased this same floor at one of the major home supply stores. With Lumber Liquidators I was able to get the floor I wanted and still remain in budget my project. For others reading these reviews to figure out if you should buy from Lumber Liquidators or not, go for it. I am posting this review because I read so many negative reviews when contemplating my purchse as well. I wanted to let others know about a great experience. If I had to do it again, I would go back and purchase the same product again.

Lumber Liquidators, unfortunately, has been a BAD experience. I do NOT recommend purchasing wood flooring from this company. READ other negative reviews carefully to save yourself the pain of a bad experience.
I have to admit that I did read negative reviews before choosing to do business with Lumber Liquidators, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered Brazilian Cherry Wood flooring in good faith.
Lumber Liquidators claims that shipments are packed with "random" sized flooring. Herein lies the problem. Lumber Liquidators is deceptive on this point, a kind of bait and switch. The MAJORITY of my shipment was composed of small pieces of 9 inches to 31 inches in length of planks! My contractor was unable to use most of the flooring as a result. Again, in good faith, I complained to the Lumber Liquidators store and bought another 7 cartons to compensate for the first bad shipment. Again, this new shipment arrived with mostly shorts, like 9 inch pieces! The store was unhelpful and Lumber Liquidators officially declined my complaint for any resolution.
Buyer BEWARE--read the reviews from unhappy customers before you think of doing business with Lumber Liquidators! Sometimes it is wise to believe what you read.

Avoid them at all costs. They aren't up front about the terms and conditions before order, and their customer service is essentially non-existent. I've been on the phone with them for hours to get my problem resolved, to no avail.
DONT BUY

HUSBW2S516V - 5/16" x 2 1/4"Brazilian Walnut
It was very hard to install since it is very thin and we were only able to use staples. Out of 9 boxes bought, 1 was completely unusable due to sticky residue found on all planks. The store where I bought the flooring needs to have customer service training and learn how to resolve customer related issues.
Besides the horrible customer service that I have received while trying to exchange damaged box, so far the floor looks good.

The quality of the material is poor, there are bubbles, sand and debris in the finish. The company actually shorted me on the material delivered and now refuses to contact me back. After disputing the charge with my credit card they sent an "expert" to the house to look at the floors and he claimed the finish was normal. I will never make a purchase from the company again, and I encourage anyone interested in flooring not to buy from this company.

I cannot say enough bad things about Lumber Liquidators. Avoid them at all costs. They promise outrageous strength and performance before the sale...and then reply "you get what you pay for" when you discover (after installation) that their claims were not true. The products they sell are fragile and inferior.
Orders come into the stores weeks late or not at all. The local manager I deal with bitches constantly about "corporate" and "their" lousy system to avoid any personal responsibility for their poor service. He has no idea when a shipment will be in or what will be on it. It's driving my poor installer crazy. At the same time, he forgets order items (their system is too slow to add them in real-time while I am on the phone with him, so he jots down notes and looses them), makes promises about researching items or "finding them" in the system, and then never follows up. Makes promises to call when parts are in, and has NEVER returned a call. Heck, he still hasn't managed to FAX me an invoice I have asked for twice a week for four weeks.
They have any ability to make multiple items in an order "match" at all. When a special request to have a part be "light" to match the parts that are already installed was made, the manager replied "okay, but it'll probably just come back even darker, 'they' hate special requests."
It just goes on and on. I have never posted a negative review of any reseller. This is the worst experience I have ever had, and unfortunately the most costly.
AVOID!

With out a doubt the worst company in the world to do business with. Please investigate this company before doing business with them I ordered a floor on 6/17/04, they said it would take 4 weeks for it to come in. They called on 8/13 & said it was in. When I went down there they tried to switch floors on me. They claimed I called them from Sea World on my daughters birthday and changed the order!! It was horrible!! The owners brother was rude nasty and came after me. I will never do business with them again.

Lumberliquidators sells garbage plain and simple. I purchased 540 square feet of kempas natural hardwood flooring on July 12th, 2005. It was delivered several weeks later with many of the boxes clearly beaten up. When the installer came to install the wood he immediately discovered that the wood was poor quality, but reluctantly proceeded with the installation. A few hours into the job I received a phone call from the installer informing me of the 'imperfections' in the flooring due to tapered and not square ends causing gaps between the planks. Needless to say the flooring was removed at my request. Dealing with LL has been a nightmare. They refused to refund my money forcing me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The wood is now sitting in my garage waiting for LL to pick it up. Bottom line.... AVOID LUMBER LIQUIDATORS!! Spend the extra money and get good quality wood without the headache.
