Love this company! Products may take a little longer to arrive, however with such great deals, i can be patient! As someone in the mail order industry, their policies are cleverly stated and make perfect sense in regards to keeping prices low... paying customer service reps would increase the prices. Its a give and take kinda deal. Kinda unfortunate they are catching a bad rep on here when the policies page CLEARLY says they don't have much customer service or returns department... not the companies fault that some dont read the policies.. Keep up the good work Woot!

Horrible customer service, but great price on products. I personally don't care for Woot's service, though i must admit that their pricing in unbeatable. I bought a Rumba and it broke within a week, when i contacted them, I had to spend 3 days just to get an RMA. The support stinks, and they some seem to care about the customer. Long story short, i got my new rumba, and im good to go for now.

Cheap product, terrible customer service. 5 of 10 for products and 0 of 10 for customer service!
I bought one of these early in the day and minutes later decided to buy another. I attempted to change my order to add another to avoid paying shipping twice and the site didn't allow me to do this. So I was going to call and tweak my order but there is no number for customers to use...just email. Well after many emails, way too many delays, and no action...I got one...because the staff is not very good and provided terrible customer service.
See more of my feedback to them below:
I just wanted to post and share my dissatisfaction with the poor and slow email customer service provided by Woot. You need to establish a phone where customers can talk with someone to help sort through issues before deals pass as a result of slow email communication between customers and your "customer service" office.
Also, your site needs to have a feature to either adjust or ammend an order after an item is purchased. I don't mean just cancel but say add another item to the same purchase as this will help you by allowing to sell more and help the customer who will save on shipping (vice paying twice).
Lastly, take the feedback provided to you via email during these many back and forth transactions and actually do something with it. Without customers you'll be out of business and most customer reps without a job...reemphasize this as it is much needed.
Your products are great but your service is severely lacking...and it is just a matter of time until products pop up elsewhere which means you may lose customers if you don't improve your service!
Thanks
Wootdvj

They do have some good prices, but pay attention to product descriptions because some of their products are refurbished. They are not that great on returns. They would much rather you deal with the manufacturer. They are very slow to ship the item, and they use the slowest possible shipping method, so don't get in any hurry. I really hate wading through their attempted humor to read the product description. They seem to put most of their effort into silliness instead of good customer service. Not one of my favorite online merchants. But knowing all that, I will probably still order from them again, because they do have some very good deals from time to time.

Bought a jawbone 2 that was title as a "NEW" item, found out the usb cable was black dirty (most likely a used item), bluetooth itself have dry up water stain(it's been clean with a wet rag), the ear pieces on the box tab was bent over(someone have open it before). Of course they won't admit it was a use item, and they said "It was dirt/dust from sitting in the warehouse" such BS. How can a new item get dirt/used when it was a seal box? I don't think they can explain that, looks like a refurbish item, that was re-boxed to me. They want me to pay for return shipping, that it was clearly a f**k up on there part. Won't shop at Woot again, even if it's cheapppp.

I have bought from Woot a number of times spanning several years. I have received all items with no problems. The only thing bad is their shipping. It is absolutely the SLOWEST I have experienced with any online vendor. I have overlooked this and continue to buy from them because no matter how heavy the item Woot only charges $5. If you purchase from Woot be sure to pay attention as to whether their price is for a new or refurbished item. They always state which it is but when you compare shop you want to be sure you are comparing like item condition to like item.

It took 10 days to ship it out, plus 5 days to receive it.
There is no support for any of the products they sell, even if its DOA.

I purchased 2 'Vornado Whole Room Air Circulation Clip On Fans' on 5/22. It took a week to ship (5/29) and another week to arrive (6/6). Woot has always been slow to ship but it's cheap so normally I don't mind. However, both fans arrived defective. I sent an Email to Woot requesting a replacement or refund and got this in reply...
'Unless we specifically tell you not to, call the manufacturer of the product you bought. You will likely get a replacement of a new model or better item from them. Please contact Vornado for assistance. There is a 5 year manufacturer's warranty on your units. You will need to provide a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase.'
I replied saying that's not a very fair return policy. I got zero response. In my opinion, Woot needs to put less focus on making cute product descriptions and more focus on prompt shipping and customer service. This review was modified by its author, Robor, on

After two weeks of no activity on my tracking number I email them, guess what the response was?
"oh sorry we're out of it, heres a refund."
so here's the w00t scam: generate a tracking number for every order you get, if you can't fulfill all of them don't let the customer know so you can keep the money until they contact you.
I replied about duping me and have had no response yet.
So people, yes it's bargains but it's no joke you'll either get broken equipment(read their forums) or you'll get duped. If you're really desperate then keep shopping here.
P.S.: From Resellerratings:
"This company does NOT yet subscribe to our Merchant Member Program to monitor feedback & respond to customer issues. "
The company doesn't care. This review was modified by its author, neilAAA, on

Woot has a great variety of quality products at good prices. I check their website first thing every morning while eating my breakfast. Some of their items are such good deals, they may be sold out by lunch time.

Five business days to ship and another 10 days for the product to arrive. This isn't a fluke, it's normal. This is unacceptable considering the deals are not that great and other companies like newegg ship the same day and arrive within a few days.

I absolutely love Woot! I check the site daily to see what sort of product they have, sometimes even checking at 1:00 am EST when the new deal goes up for the day.
The descriptions of the products are usually hilarious, even the pictures of the item can be funny as well. Kudos to Woot for hiring such entertaining writers.
I've bought everything from a Dyson vacuum to SD cards. No matter how big/heavy/little an item is, you'll pay $5 for shipping. They utilize Fedex SmartPost which can be slow since it's handled by USPS. The great deals more than make up for that in my opinion.
Also check out Shirt Woot, they sell a t-shirt of the day (usually with customer designed art) for $10 and free shipping (again with Smartpost).
Woot-off's happen occasionally as well (look for the two flashing yellow lights), maybe once a month or so. They usually have small quantities of products that they cycle through to sell during the day, and once it's gone... it's gone. You usually have to jump on it if you want something, things can easily sell out in under a minute. On the flip side, it can sometimes take hours to sell through a product.
Woot once oversold an XM Radio I had ordered, and canceled my order. It wasn't something I really needed of course (more of a impulse buy than anything), but it was a minor annoyance. To make up for it they did email me a $5 coupon, which I think rectified the situation just fine.
All in all I really love the business model of Woot, I always make sure I know exactly what the specs of a product are before I buy, if it will work with my system, and I know my sizing in American Apparel for their t-shirts. Woot will absolutely continue to get my business! This review was modified by its author, bellina, on
