I'm not quiet sure about all this stuff in previous post, but here is my opinion.  
 
I placed an order at 29 august and wait for a day, no response except automatick messages, then I looked in ratings and made a few conclusions for myself. Then I sent a few messages to shipping-mail and sales-mail after 5 days some girl with name Veronica answers that they were on holidays, and at this moment my item has been sent.  
 
Well it was about 5 idle days, not "the same day shipping", heh, but today I got my parcel at least. However I choose "slow" Express Mail and my customs took a time.  
 
I recommend this shop, cause the have a wide assortment and complete orders at the end.

I had the exact same experience as 'frustrated_guy' only my order was placed two weeks ago. I sent four email inquiries, both to sales and shipping contacts and received no response so I will have to contact my bank as well. There's no excuse for that kind of 'service'.  
 
Update:  
I only received an email response (which was a direct copy of the response to my review here) after posting this review and when I replied to it with a cancellation request I again got no response. My order was placed nearly a month ago and while mod-chip.com was very quick to charge my card they haven't fulfilled my order or even replied to any emails.

Very bad experience!  
Made an order a week ago on something with "Full Stock". On their site and the order confirmation email I got from them, you could see wording like "credit card order shipped the same day". But I never receive any email from them again, even after I sent THREE emails to ask their custumor service about the status of my order.  
And my credit card was already charged. I will wait a few more days before going to my credit card company.  
But what kind of site is this? I have been shopping around the internet for almost a decade, but never saw a site like this. Be careful!

The worst eshop ever.  
I paid for a new component and i received a used, dirty and broken one, without an invoice. In addition, the www.mod-chip.com "company" does not exchange it neither refund because i didn't ask it in a period of 30 days (it was 35 actually - but it was not my fault).  
If this is not a fraud please tell me what a fraud is.

My Experience:  
 
The layout of the site was decent as I was able to find exactly what I wanted. I ordered:  
1} "Black" Cyclo DS  
2} 8Gb Mini SD Card  
3} 1-2 Day Shipping  
 
I had some visa problems for the first day as the website would not accept my card. I sent an E-mail and I did get a helpful response. I wasn't really happy that it took about 10 hours for a response but I did get one and he seemed really nice. {The problem was because I didn't aware Visa that I'm using an international website, so it's NOT the sites fault at all.}  
 
So after my call to visa, I retried to purchase the products and It finally went through. My "Order Confirmation" E-mail came about 45 minutes after. It was a reasonable time and I was happy.  
 
Now, Since I used a credit card, the site claims that [Quote] "All credit card orders WILL BE shipped the same day we receive them (Mon-Fri)." [End Quote]. Well, I sent mine on a sunday and my E-mail also says [Quote] "Orders on weekends or holidays are shipped the next business day." [End Quote]  
 
Today is monday. It is considered a business day and I have not recieved a "shipment confirmation email" The day is almost over and I have sent an E-mail to OsterMann to see if anything has gone wrong and I still haven't recieved an E-Mail. I'm going to wait for the full 42 minutes before I send another E-mail.  
 
Ok, monday was a national holiday in Europe so no wonder I didn't get my info. But on tuesday morning, I got my E-mail response and a shipment confirmation E-mail AND my UPS tracking number. Very Help full once again and great timing also.  
 
My package should be comming thursday. {Which is today}.  
 
Overall, service was well done and you're not going to have any trouble. I've enjoyed my shopping on this site and I'll be glad to shop here again.

I ordered an HDCombo for Playstation 2 on March 12th, and it arrived within 6 business days. It's a fine product if you have the skills to install it, but it has one flaw (arguably). The pull strap on the ribbon cable will fold sharply inside the case every time you insert a hard drive, no matter how you position it. After a few foldings, the strap becomes fragile and will eventually snap off, making it extremely hard to remove the hard drive from that point on. Just a warning to buyers of this product. Not the fault of mod.chip.com.  
 
Anyways, I caved, and ordered another HDCombo, along with more items. I picked the more expensive UPS shipping option, but unfortunately they still shipped it via the slower method. I complained, but received a very fast response. Ostermann offered to either refund me the difference for the shipping I paid for and did not receive, or he offered to ship me a replacement part for my 1st HDCombo. I chose the latter. It arrived today and all is well.  
 
In short, this is probably the best source you will find for a lot of these rare gaming-related items, and they will deal with you on a personal friendly level if anything goes wrong. They wont abandon you like some other stores do.

Ok. No problem excellent products And Exelent Shippingˇ(UPS).  
 
we must verify their identity to avoid possible fraud for Mod-Chip and no problem.

mod-chip.com is the best. fast processing, fast shipping, and excellent communication. mod chips can be a hard thing to shop for, but mod-chip.com makes it easy.

Really, really impress! No fuss, just great service, and top marks for UPS as well. Placed the order on Friday, and got it the Monday.

The website was easy to use for ordering and the order was posted promptly. When my order didn't arrive due to problems with mail delivery (not the company's fault!), Mod-Chip staff communicated with me via email and helped me to locate the package. The staff were wonderful and always responded quickly to email. I will definately be ordering from them again

There were communication problems in regards to the order, but the mod-chip.com staff was always there helping me walk through the entire process via e-mail. The product I received works very nicely if I might add.

Found hard-to-find Cylop Revolution here. The prices was bit pricey compare to other online stores but the total coat including the shipping was about the same. Their 2G MicroSD was $36 compare to $14 at other online stores.  
unless you are buying hard-to-found items like Cyclop compare prices frist before buying here.  
 
To gurrantee shipping use UPS with tracking #.  
I received my package in 3 days from Austria to Hawaii but paid $17 for shipping.  
 
overall i got what i wanted but I would check elseswhere for cheaper price.  

I ordered here after another site processed my order but never charged or sent product. I contacted first to make sure was not same people then ordered. Although different product than ds-extreme it works just as well in some ways I like it better and it shipped fast and was cheaper, excellent service.

Excellent store. great communication and fast shipment. Finally a store that has a decently updated site with accurate stock information and good details on the products. I definately recommend these guys and will try purchase from them again!
