I had the exact same experience as 'frustrated_guy' only my order was placed two weeks ago. I sent four email inquiries, both to sales and shipping contacts and received no response so I will have to contact my bank as well. There's no excuse for that kind of 'service'.  
 
Update:  
I only received an email response (which was a direct copy of the response to my review here) after posting this review and when I replied to it with a cancellation request I again got no response. My order was placed nearly a month ago and while mod-chip.com was very quick to charge my card they haven't fulfilled my order or even replied to any emails.

Very bad experience!  
Made an order a week ago on something with "Full Stock". On their site and the order confirmation email I got from them, you could see wording like "credit card order shipped the same day". But I never receive any email from them again, even after I sent THREE emails to ask their custumor service about the status of my order.  
And my credit card was already charged. I will wait a few more days before going to my credit card company.  
But what kind of site is this? I have been shopping around the internet for almost a decade, but never saw a site like this. Be careful!

The worst eshop ever.  
I paid for a new component and i received a used, dirty and broken one, without an invoice. In addition, the www.mod-chip.com "company" does not exchange it neither refund because i didn't ask it in a period of 30 days (it was 35 actually - but it was not my fault).  
If this is not a fraud please tell me what a fraud is.

mod-chip.com is the best. fast processing, fast shipping, and excellent communication. mod chips can be a hard thing to shop for, but mod-chip.com makes it easy.

I placed my order on Monday June 4th. I Also got the UPS shipping because i wanted the tracking number. I got my order not 30 minutes ago no questions asked :]. Very satisfied with mod-chip.com

WOW. What an amazing store. Received prompt emails, and answers to questions. By prompt I mean in around 12 hours! The max drive ordered ordered through standard shipping arrived in new zealand (corner of the world) in 7 days. This is lightning fast. Thank you osterman and co, this has been my best online purchasing experience. Do not think twice about buying from these guys. I can't believe that they were selling a max drive (quite rare to buy these days from stores as they are always out of stock, even playasia.com was out of stock) for US$30 including shipping! This would have cost me over US$50 easily had i purchased this from the OFFICIAL PS2 max drive site (maker's site). Great communication and customer services, unbelievably lightning fast shipping, cheapest prices...what else can anyone want. Thank you mod-chip.com for supplying me with a product I love and find very useful...finally i can get past that last mission in ace combat and get special features for socom online. You guys are the best!

I am a very happy customer. My package came in the mail today. I was a lil' paranoid/worried that it wouldn't based on a previous customers rating. Unfortunately I am a lucky dude.  
 
The VIPER Extreme came in in perfect condition. I think next time I am using UPS shipping than express mail. I am too impatient when it comes to receiving mail haha. Thanks again guys you rock ;).

I would recommend mod-chip.com to anybody! They have wonderful customer service and very fast aswell. I was having problems recieving my order (Slim kit pro) via normal snail mail. I thought it had been lost in the mail, i contacted Customer Service and they IMMEDIATELY started on the problem. They put a tracker on the package and stated if it didnt arrive w/i one to two days, they would send another free of charge! In the end the package came, but i was still astonished at the level of customer service. Guareenteed, anything you buy from these guys, your gonna be happy with it.

mod-chip.com ships very fast and has great support (if your emails aren't detected as spam) it wasn't until i left a negative feedback here that i had gotten a reply after 4 attempted emails that were deleted by their spam detection software. my issue is being resolved now though, and i am once again a happy customer. mod-chip.com does fully back their products. this is my second return to them for defective items within a few years. (not mod-chip.com's fault) and they have agreed to replace the faulty item. thanks mod-chip.  
 
update: a little late on the update, but the return process was smooth. all i had to do was shatter the defective disks and send a picture of the broken disks. 2 new disks were sent to me via express and they work perfectly.

I got my Matrix Infinity chip up and running on the first try, using the customer manuals and guides from www.mod-chip.com. Although, UPS lost my package and it was stuck in redneck Hell for 3 days...LOL!(no offense to any Southerners). Thanks Ostermann for everything, the customer service of the site is first rate and the chip would have gotten to me 6 if UPS didn't screw up. Thanks for everything www.mod-chip.com, I will recommend this site to all my hacker buddies that may want to mod their ps2 or xbox 360 in the future... XD

I recently ordered a Xecuter 3 CE, Xapt3r 1.6 Solderless Adapter, a PS2 DVD Remote Ultra Slim (wich i received free because i had 2 or more items ) & a Xecuter 3 Control Panel. The shipping was excellent i received a tracking number immedietly after it was shipped and it was here in 2 days.I will be ordering many things very soon from this site. I had bought a mod-chip "modbo" from this store online, I was very satisfied from their shipping time and service, they gave me the best customer service posibble by replying to me questions via e-mail and helping out in all they could. I was completely satisfied for the fact that they would change the unit for another, because I wasnt capable of installing it. Im glad they did that and I didnt have to stay stuck with them. The customer service was professional and understanding. I rate this place the best online purchase experience, I have had.

Great customer support, and also they really stand by their pricematch! would not hessitate to buy from again.
