I ordered the R4DS, which was supposed to ship in 5-10 business days. It's been 15 days since then, and today would be the 11th business day. I question the reliability of this site. My confirmation email gave me "dummyemail@magnetocommerce.com" and the phone number "(555)-555-0123", both of which are clearly fake. I tried emailing the webmaster of the site. It's been six days since then, and I have not yet gotten a reply. I believe that this entire website is just one elaborate hoax. I double checked all of my information, and it's all accurate. What's the deal, mod-chip?

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEIR SITE!!!  
 
Heres The Story:  
 
So I Ordered A Cyclo DS Black On Friday The 26th Of December - I Vividly Remember The Item NOT Saying "Out Of Stock" ( This Is Becuase I Was Searching All The Websites To Find One That Wasn't Out Of Stock) So Anyway, I Go Through The Order Process And Read There FAQ, And It Clearly States: "Your order will be dispatched the same day you place it" So I Thought "Great What Could be Better?" So I Wait Until Monday Afternoon - And Notice Even Though I've Ordered My Order On Friday Night And I've Ordered $27 Extra FEDEX Express Shipping - That I Have No Shipping Verification - And I Haven't Recieved My Tracking Number, So I In Turn Try Place A "Support Ticket" On Their Website (Don't Get Me Started On How Much Their "Live Support" Is Never Online) And I Wait For About 3 Days After That - Until I Recieve 1 Response From A Person Saying That The Item Isn't In Stock - And That I Have To Wait Or They Can Refund Me - So I Reply To The Ticket "What Are My Possible Options? - How Do I Go About Getting A Refund - Or How Long Does It Take To Get More In?" - And To That Message I've Not Got A Reply For About 5-6 Days Now.  
 
I've Tried Calling Their "Great" "24 Hour Customer Support" Number About 3 Times Everyday - It Seems To Be A Fake # That Belongs To A Company Called "Pegasus" (Which I Only Ever Get There Message Machine) So I Make A New Ticket Saying I Don't Want To Wait Anymore - And To Just Refund My Card - No Reply For 2-3 Days Now - And I Even Sent A Copy Of The Message To All Of Their "Posted" E-mails For The Company.  
 
Anyway - I Don't Know If Their Ever Planning On Resolving My Issue Or Not - But Either Way:  
 
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - EVER!!!

As I Said In My Post Above (Just Incase The Reseller Is Also Blind) - The Item Was Clearly "IN STOCK" (Yes That Says "IN STOCK") The Night I Ordered It - As I Said - The Stock Seemed To Suddenly Be Updated And Change On Monday Morning.  
 
I Also Find It VERY Interesting That EVERY DAY From Between December 25th And January 1st - As Well As EVERY DAY Between January 1st And The 13th Has Been A "Holiday" For You - (Or Is That Just Part Of Being Lazy Scammers?) Oh By The Way - Your Oh-So "Great" And "24HR" Customer Support Number - IT DOESN'T WORK!!! - As I Said Before - I Called Like 10 Times A Day And Then A Damn Message Machine Picks Up - I Leave 2 Messages - And What? - You Don't Reply - SO IN ORDER TO GET THE REFUND I'M GETTING I HAVE TO CONTACT THE PAYMENT SITE "ALLIED WALLET" AND I'M NOW WAITING ANOTHER WEEK!!!

Customer ordered product that WASN'T in our stock and he was informed about it during ordering. This is copy of message he could see in the shopping cart and also in the invoice: * This product is not available in the requested quantity. 1 of the items will be backordered. *  
Besides he contacted us during the holiday so he should have expected we wouldn't respond instantly.

I had the exact same experience as 'frustrated_guy' only my order was placed two weeks ago. I sent four email inquiries, both to sales and shipping contacts and received no response so I will have to contact my bank as well. There's no excuse for that kind of 'service'.  
 
Update:  
I only received an email response (which was a direct copy of the response to my review here) after posting this review and when I replied to it with a cancellation request I again got no response. My order was placed nearly a month ago and while mod-chip.com was very quick to charge my card they haven't fulfilled my order or even replied to any emails.

Very bad experience!  
Made an order a week ago on something with "Full Stock". On their site and the order confirmation email I got from them, you could see wording like "credit card order shipped the same day". But I never receive any email from them again, even after I sent THREE emails to ask their custumor service about the status of my order.  
And my credit card was already charged. I will wait a few more days before going to my credit card company.  
But what kind of site is this? I have been shopping around the internet for almost a decade, but never saw a site like this. Be careful!

The worst eshop ever.  
I paid for a new component and i received a used, dirty and broken one, without an invoice. In addition, the www.mod-chip.com "company" does not exchange it neither refund because i didn't ask it in a period of 30 days (it was 35 actually - but it was not my fault).  
If this is not a fraud please tell me what a fraud is.

This customer makes his own terms.  
 
He agreed to OUR terms which says:  
 
You can return any product within 30 days of the invoice purchase date; we do not accept any returns after 30 days - no exceptions.  
Any product returned must be in resalable condition. Products returned to us in not resalable condition will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.

Well although most people who use this site seem vary pleased, I have a different story.My first and last online order was May 14,2007. I only paid for the $4.95 express shipping expecting that i would have my package in about a week.Well a week went by and nothing came. So when the 8th day came around I looked on the site for a way to contact them.I sent and email and they got right back to me saying they are sorry it should have come and they told me to wait till the 10th day and if i still didn't get it they would put a tracer on it to find out what happened. So the 10th day around around and I sent another email.I asked for them to trace it. So 3 days later they email me back saying the same thing, "You should have received it already". That was June, 2nd. Since then I have sent four emails with no reply, still have no package, and i can't find a phone number(I even sent an email asking for one). Now today is June 7th. Still nothing on the package, not even an email(it was shipped May 15th,so minus Memorial Day today is the 17th in this process).I am completely annoyed at this place, even though I know it must have gotten lost in the mail or something like that. You would think that they care about their business and figure this out.

This store is frustrating!!! i chose UPS shipping to recieve my order in 2-3 days but they shipped my order using express mail which takes 1 month to arrive!!! here are my proofs...

The product was out of stock so we decided to have it shipped from a partner warehouse where they dont have UPS shipping service.  
 
This way his order left within 24 hours.  
Express mail takes only about 1 week to the Philippines and not a month.  
 
I also offered a full refund to the customer if he dont want the product anymore.

Like most buyers, I check resellerratings.com before I make purchases. With all these raving reviews I thought I couldn't go wrong. Well I was wrong.  
 
First of all, they have some hidden international fee which is negligible. They shipped my package at February 20th, which was a Tuesday. Exactly a week later on the 27th, still no package so I emailed them about it. They said it should be here any day and to wait until Saturday that if there was still no package, they will trace it.  
 
Saturday, still no package so I emailed them to trace. They send an email to confirm my shipping address, I replied to confirm, now they've gone dark. No replies ever since Saturday.  
 
From the ship date, February 20th to today March 7th I haven't received my order. Not to mention they're not even replying to emails anymore, I'd advise buyers to stay away from this shady company.  
 
Update: March 8th, finally receiving an email after a couple of days that there was a delay on the flights hence the delay on the package.  
 
Update: March 10th, no package, but received another email stating that only the UPS option has a guaranteed delivery date. Apparently, the 3-6 day listed for 'express mail' means absolutely nothing.  
 
Update: Another empty promise by March 13th. Decided to just cancel the order and get a refund.

Is there any wonder why few official modchip websites list these clowns as resellers? Beware of long shipping delays that count against your warranty.But the most telling statement in their reply was  
 
"Duox2 is 100% reliable. I've never seen a bad one"  
 
Yeah,right,NOTHING electronic is 100% reliable.  
Well you've seen one now but refuse to send a replacement.Stay away from these frauds.You have been warned

In all fairness to this customer's plight, he failed to mention that his product was shipped on 10/28/2005 and asked for a replacement chip on 12/01/2005 without any contact from him regarding problems with his product between that time. Yes electronic devices are not 100% reliable nor are the installers 100% reliable. We take pride in our service to our customer (who actually asks for it) which is why we are posting our customer ratings on this website. Shipping delays sometimes occur (but rare); you can't expect anyone to believe it took over a month to receive their product. We make every effort to assist our customers with on-line tech support with a guarantee response within 1 day and we have the most comprehensive install manuals that you won't find anywhere else. Although it is unfortunate that this customer is not satisfied with our service, however we currently do not posses ESP or clairvoyant powers to assist our customers. In short, this person's assessment of our company and services is not a fair one due to the above mentioned circumstances.

Order was shipped on 30th thery say. 2 weeks later and still no product. Only an automated response to inquiries. They say it could be delays in postal delivery which I have never experienced with all the countless items I have purchased online. Cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Ok, I finally got my R4 and I've confirmed that its not a fake clone but when it wont save. I can start a game, play it, and use the save option of the game and it will say it saved but when I restart my DS and play the same game the save file is no longer there. Its almost like it didn't write to the micro SD. I've tried 2 different micros and I still have the same problem.

The product I ordered arrived about a week and a half later. The problem is there is absolutely no way to contact them about how to get the user id and password so I can use the manual that we are promised to use.

I dont Know its taking along time to receive my Order.. -_-; from this company.which was only suppose to be 3 - 6 days.. and i would be careful about the ppl that been reviewing seems all of them have one post and just signed up for Resellerratings the same day they posted the review.. This order was shipped on October 14 and you should receive it any day now.  
 
Usually our estimated delivery time is 3-6 workdays (Mon-Fri).  
Sometimes it may take longer due to postal delays (i.e. holidays...etc.) which is out of
