Ordered two mod chips and received them within 4-5 business days. They did not come with any type of instructions, but those are easily found on their website. They did come with wire and solder. Would order from this site again.

terrible experience thus far with them. first of all, they guarantee your product being shipped same day or whatever, but it seems they've just got the confirmation of shipment email automated, because i got it right after i paid them and got automated confirmation of payment emails.  
 
i have emailed them several times and they emailed back twice with very scarce responses detailing little about what is going on. I ordered a product that was "fully stocked"... it's been over a month and nothing is here.  
 
the reviews here... seem very off and sketchy. the only good responses have obvious implications of broken english which is surprisingly similar to that of the responses FROM mod-chip.com on here! HMM! that's peculiar. this is even after they claimed to 'change owners.' which can be seen a couple pages back in the review where they disown a problem completely for this change and that customer is pretty much SOL. Another back up to this is that they seem to be very keen on their feeback, which is bragged about on their 'terms & conditions' page.

Their phone number is still bogus as skaisdead indicated below, EVEN after they said they would fix it. I have tried the number listed here, many many time, and no one EVER answers. I even call during the night so it would normal day business hours for them, but still nothing.  
 
the second time they responded, they said it must have been lost in shipment so they will send a new one. very short and clipped answer which seems to allude to the fact that they haven't even shipped in and don't really have it in stock. the DMS4 for the ps2 is the chip i ordered and is hard to find now, so they are probably just covering for that. I wish I could talk to someone at mod-chip.com about this, I would happily take a refund and delete this anger filled response, but who knows, maybe this will get their attention.  
 
Very shady company, especially when you read through these reviews as well as on afterdawn. I will update my status when they reply again and hopefully things will be sorted out.

Ok, I finally got my R4 and I've confirmed that its not a fake clone but when it wont save. I can start a game, play it, and use the save option of the game and it will say it saved but when I restart my DS and play the same game the save file is no longer there. Its almost like it didn't write to the micro SD. I've tried 2 different micros and I still have the same problem.

All I have to say is GOOD JOB mod-chip.  
I bought Connectivity Kit V3 Pro and Connectivity Kit V3 Probe from mod-chip.com and I must emphasize that I newer had more plesent surprise in all my purchasing history.  
 
At first both kits were not available, and ETA was 7 days. I have order it ASAP. Kits have arrived as estimated, shipped that day and delivered to me 36 hours after. Paying FedEx 25 € was a great deal. I live in Croatia and never had delivery that fast (Bratislava-Paris-Wiena-Zagreb-Rijeka).

I ordered the R4DS, which was supposed to ship in 5-10 business days. It's been 15 days since then, and today would be the 11th business day. I question the reliability of this site. My confirmation email gave me "dummyemail@magnetocommerce.com" and the phone number "(555)-555-0123", both of which are clearly fake. I tried emailing the webmaster of the site. It's been six days since then, and I have not yet gotten a reply. I believe that this entire website is just one elaborate hoax. I double checked all of my information, and it's all accurate. What's the deal, mod-chip?

I got the what i order but, how I suppose to install it without instructions, they respond my message, by thank you for letting us know, we are updating...

I ordered the DriveKey Solderless Wii Mod Chip, it was exactly what I needed and the Fedex shipping was extremely fast. Would most likely to purchase other items in future. All ready recommended to several friends and they have told me they made their orders.

Positive Review! I placed an order on the 26th (sunday) of April. Today (May, 8, 2009) I recieved the goods. In superb shape. Total of 2 weeks. I was a little worried after week one, but having patience is key as these products come from across seas (mine, Slovakia). So dont worry, have patience, and everything will be alright. Thumbs up to this merchant.

I'm quite satisfied although the delivery took about 2 weeks by regular shipping and there's  
no tracking number provided. But the chip works perfectly and that's important.

Made an order on Dec.06 2008. on a chip (in stock).and they email me part shipped next day. Today is Jan 18, 2009. I have emailed the sales office two times, NO RESPONSE. I emailed the shipping dept.Three tines NO RESPONSE.I have not received my order or any correspondance from this company. The phone # goes to a recorder.

So I Ordered A Cyclo DS Black On Friday The 26th Of December - I Vividly Remember The Item NOT Saying "Out Of Stock" ( This Is Becuase I Was Searching All The Websites To Find One That Wasn't Out Of Stock) So Anyway, I Go Through The Order Process And Read There FAQ, And It Clearly States: "Your order will be dispatched the same day you place it" So I Thought "Great What Could be Better?" So I Wait Until Monday Afternoon - And Notice Even Though I've Ordered My Order On Friday Night And I've Ordered $27 Extra FEDEX Express Shipping - That I Have No Shipping Verification - And I Haven't Recieved My Tracking Number, So I In Turn Try Place A "Support Ticket" On Their Website (Don't Get Me Started On How Much Their "Live Support" Is Never Online) And I Wait For About 3 Days After That - Until I Recieve 1 Response From A Person Saying That The Item Isn't In Stock - And That I Have To Wait Or They Can Refund Me - So I Reply To The Ticket "What Are My Possible Options? - How Do I Go About Getting A Refund - Or How Long Does It Take To Get More In?" - And To That Message I've Not Got A Reply For About 5-6 Days Now.  
 
I've Tried Calling Their "Great" "24 Hour Customer Support" Number About 3 Times Everyday - It Seems To Be A Fake # That Belongs To A Company Called "Pegasus" (Which I Only Ever Get There Message Machine) So I Make A New Ticket Saying I Don't Want To Wait Anymore - And To Just Refund My Card - No Reply For 2-3 Days Now - And I Even Sent A Copy Of The Message To All Of Their "Posted" E-mails For The Company.

I Also Find It VERY Interesting That EVERY DAY From Between December 25th And January 1st - As Well As EVERY DAY Between January 1st And The 13th Has Been A "Holiday" For You - (Or Is That Just Part Of Being Lazy Scammers?) They did change the company. Item was shipped out prompty.  
 
I highly recomend you guys pick the FEDEX option as the regular shipping is just rediculous. Its NOT the Vendors fault either..  
 
Definitely loved these guys i bought something again... Only with fedex shipping this time.

I like the look of their site. I ordered regular shipping (5-10 days), and got it in about 12 or so, but that is understandable. I did email them, the first few I emailed I got an automated response saying it was found as spam. Then the next few, I just never got an answer to. I have something that may help you, but haven't ever gotten a response...Thanx Mod-Chip.com!

I like the new shop. It is far better than the old one. My order was shipped properly and in time. Maybe because I used fedex option which is extra. I have to say, I am pretty satisfied with the support aswell, because they had given me much needed advice on chip selection.
