EXCELLENT SERVICE, GREAT ITEMS!! I PLACED MY ORDER ON MONDAY THE 7TH AND HAD IT IN MY HOME BY FRIDAY THE 11TH!! AWESOME SERVICE AND NICE ITEMS. I HAVE ORDERED FROM LAKESIDE MANY TIMES AND I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS COMPANY!

Wonderful merchandise at amazing prices. SLLLLOOOOOWWWW service. Do not expect ANY customer service. Emails are generic and I have never gotten anything but a busy signal on the phone. I have just placed my 3rd order, though, and continue to recommend the company. You have to be VERY patient to use this company. Order very early and don't check back for a few weeks. •Allow AT LEAST 6 weeks for your order. (Seriously) •Don't expect it to ship for 2-4 weeks. •Order by early NOV for Christmas to avoid backorder. •Don't freak when it shows up backorder on your screen. I had two of those last week and they are both shipped a few days later. •Orders almost always arrive seperatley. Do all this and you will get a great order and people will always ask you "Where did you get that!?". Good Luck!
**UPDATE - Last night I received 2/3 of my order (in 4 boxes) and the rest shipped yesterday and should be here in about 4 days (in 2 more seperate boxes). This is the fastest I have ever gotten an order from them (8 & 12 days) and am very pleased. BTW - I have never been charged extra shipping.
**UPDATE - I just received the rest of my order. Amazing! 14 items in 10 days is a record with this company. I have ordered from Lakeside several times and have been very happy with the low prices. There are several things I have seen elsewhere for 3 times the price. 18 months ago I ordered a Christmas "ladder" decoration that looks as good after two seasons on display as they day I bought it. I have had people ask where they could get one. You must be careful to check the sizes and dimensions to be sure you are getting what you want.

Great quality for the price and quick delivery am very pleased with both orders placed and received. A great way to get unique gifts, especially "hostess gift" needs, without the sticker shock. I am very happy with my merchandise, it shipped quickly and I knew the shipping charges up front, not like ABCdistributing.

I have ordered from Lakeside Collection several times. I really like everything that I have received from them. I have never had any major problems. Yes, I have had a couple things that I ordered placed on backorder. That is the only drawlback that I have encountered. I wish they would have a better system for items in stock and what is ordered. If something I ordered was going to be placed on backorder, I would know at the time that I placed my order. That way I would have a choice if I wanted to wait or not. They really do offer good products for great,sometimes unbelievable low prices. They have never,ever charged me for anything until the item was shipped out to me. I have never had any problems with Customer Service either. I have called to cancel items that I didn't want to wait for and they have always apologized to me and honored my request. I think people react to how they are spoken to. A nice,friendly voice will usually get the same in return.

One should not have to wait thirty(30) days for an item to ship when it was noted as in stock when ordered and still be told they are "ready for shipment" when questioned about it

I ordered five items on June 8th with all items on the website as being listed "in stock" but when I placed the order, all but two are "ready to ship" and the rest were backordered with astoundingly lengthy backorder dates (7/25??). My card hasn't been charged yet, so today I cancelled my order because this was the first purchase I had made from Lakeside, and became alarmed when it came out like this.
There is no way to cancel the order on the website but when I called, I had no hold time (thankfully) but the woman I spoke with was vague and didn't really seem to know what was going on. She told me that the two "ready to ship" items MIGHT be too late to cancel, and I told her well I haven't received the items, haven't been charged, and they haven't shipped -- it's impossible for it to be too late and cancelled everything.
I will check my account to see if my card gets charged later on. I am glad I cancelled, I should of went here first to see about this company. Such a shame, looked like they had lots of nice things for cheap. I won't be buying from them again. This review was modified by its author, PoohStuff, on

this is NOT my first order with Lakeside Collection
They tell us to allow 1-2 business days for order to be processed.(not so) also they say to allow 7-14 business days for in-stock items to ship...not so. they do not tell you what type of shipping they use, my experience has been by U.S postal service
I ordered the above invoice number on Oct10, on the 16th I was told my order was shipped..Today is Oct 27th no order. This order was NOT on backorder.
This company offers quality merchandise, however, I would NOT recommed anyone order unless they are prepared to wait a month, sometimes more, as has happened with me.one order in the past was NOt a backorder)

I orderd this for my 12 year old Grandaughter on March 17th, she was so delighted that she took the ad to Lowes and had 2 colors of paint made to match the bedding and with Dad's help they painted the room it looks so cute but it's now June 23rd and we are still waiting! I received a card from Lakeside after a month that stated the items were on back order and I could wait or cancel, I choose to wait as she loved it so much. It's been over 3 months and my poor child is still waiting, no more word from Lakeside. I went online today and looked at my order status..it says canceled, THEY NEVER INFORMED ME OF THIS! Guess we buy new paint and start all over, she is so dissappointed over this! I hope I can find something she likes just as well. :(

WOW!!!! I just move to my new apartment and my mother thought this might be a good catalog to order from, so I did. I ordered things in January of '09, and the first thing I must say that turned me off was the fact that the shipping charges were terrible. I was charged for each item rather than one clear distinct charge. Then I did not get my first iten until almost a month later. That was not so bad. Then about 2 weeks later I got the next item. So I am feeling really good that this is working out for me! Oh, but low and behold---it is now JUNE 1st '09 and I am still waiting on a 'back order' to get here!!!!! What the heck????? I wanted to cancel it, but I really liked the item and I have not been able to find it any where else. Plus I was told that it would be here the end of march which wasn't so bad. After April came and went I ended up forgetting that I had even ordered something! One day I in May, I suddenly remembered that I had a back order and called and was told that it will be here in about a week, well here it is June 1st! So I called and found out that my order was on back order STILL!! or should I say again!!!! So I canceled and was I told them I would NEVER order again and that I was placing a complaint and telling as many people as I could not to order from them, and she said I understand! Do you really????????

Horrible experience. I ordered on Jan 13 2008 the status has stayed ready to ship with no shipping in sight. They charged me right when I placed the order but no one can tell me if and when my order will ship. Never again will I order from them. I wish I would have checked the reviews here first.

Same experience as everyone else. I have currently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Ordered almost $500 worth of merchandise. Delays for no reason and one item canceled without notification and one item delivered that was wrong. This is the item I am still trying to get a pre-paid tag for and get the shirt I originally ordered. It is ridiculous to wait from December 13, 2008 until the end of January and still not have the return tag. They send general emails will garbage excuses. They are horrible to deal with. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They will tell you all items are in stock- LIE they will tell you they will return your email promptly- LIE and furthermore you paid them for this treatment. Please use Harriet Carter or another type of company that sells seasonal items that will be shipped with better quality. One item has broke and the other was a shirt with seam separation upon delivery. Never again.
