Edit: Pcalchemy, contacted me right after this review was posted, and after I got the message I called them back. The person that I spoke to explained to me how this error had happened because their ordering system allowed addresses longer than UPS allowed, and since my address was so long, it cut off the last digit. He explained how this was the first time and apologized. He was very nice and I felt bad for posting such a negative review. It was a completely HONEST mistake and he said that they are fixing the error on their website. In light of what happened, I definitely would not hesitate shopping with them again, this was quite possibly one of the best customer service experiences that I have ever encountered. This is an excellent company that will have an excellent future if they keep up the good work. _________________________________________________  
I had never heard of pcalchemy.com before, but they carried a case fan that I wanted for the cheapest price I could find. So, after reading the reviews on resellerratings I went ahead and ordered two of them. They shipped the order out very quickly, but it was so fast that they didn't put down the correct apartment number. They only put down the first 2 digits of my apartment number instead of the full 3 digits. Delivery was supposed to be made on a Friday, just in time for me to finish up my computer that weeekend, but the delivery address mishap caused delivery to be delayed to Tuesday after the weekend I was supposed to finish. All of this could have been avoided had they been more careful to put the correct address on the shipping label. You would think that they would be more careful about putting an address on a box when it is one of the most important details to consider when you ship something. What if my package had been delivered to the wrong apartment number, the package would have been lost causing me even more headache than it has already. Luckily UPS noticed it was an incorrect address and held the package. While this is was my first experience with pcalchemy, I'm not sure if I would deal with them again, because out of the MANY MANY times I have shopped online this is the first time that a store has screwed up the shipping label. This shows a great deal of carelessness on their part.

I am an experienced online shopper and I have never dealt with a more customer-oriented company like PC Alchemy. They have an outstanding customer support department and they have responded to every email promptly.  
 
I had a problem with my equipment I ordered from them and contacted the manufacturer. I didn't hear back from them and still haven't so I proceeded to contact PC Alchemy. I didn't expect anything and just wanted to let them be aware about this in case there were similar cases among customers. It turned out that I was the only one and PC Alchemy offered to fix the problem for me. In the end, everything is working as good as new.  
 
To give them a rating of a 10 is an understatement and they have earned a loyal customer.

My order went very smoothly. I received a tracking number and updates as the order progressed. Everything arrived on time. The items were very professionally packaged. I am very pleased with everything. Highly recommended.

Good experience over all. They forgot to ship the IDE adapater for the slim dvd burner that I ordered but promptly shipped after I emailed them.

A couple of orders from this company. On time, as advertised and customer oriented. Last order had a question attached about out of stock items. No answer when the order shipped so I sent another one to customer service. Got an email back in minutes with an answer to the question and an explanation that it was missed at order processing. Please send it to sales next time. Sent Parcel Post and it arrived just prior to their UPS shipment. Got my vote!

Would be nice if PCAlchemy offered otehr ground delivery services - not just UPS.

These guys are great. I had troubles with one of the tuner cards I ordered. I sent them an email regarding the problem and they responded in less than one hour. They gave me an RMA I returned it and I got a full refund.  
 
I will definately purchase from them again!

I ordered a Power Supply and Sage TV from PC Alchemy. The order process was straightforward, the prices competitive & they shipped it FAST.  
 
In addition, I had a special request that they give me my software key via email instead of having to wait for the package to arrive. They did this within a matter of hours.  
 
I recently had the opportunity to contact their tech support staff and it was a great experience as well. They responded well before the 24 hours they promised and when they did they were very helpful.  
 
Whenever I need to purchase something that they sell, I go to their store first and will do so in the future.  
 
If a product that they sell is just a couple dollars more than a competitor of theirs, I will pay them a the extra cash so I can order from them. (Within reason, of course.)  
 
I have no problem fully recommending this company to my friends and to you.

I bought an item from them that 3 weeks later had a $20 price drop. I e-mailed them about it and the refunded the $20 to me within 10 minutes after I sent the e-mail. Simply Amazing.  
 
They also had fast shipping, and the best price I could find on a couple of items. I will definitly do business with them again.

PC Alchemy has been a great help throughout the entire order and ownership process. They have unrivaled technical support and they are very knowledgeable. I would not think of purchasing our HTPC equipment anywhere else. Keep up the good work!

I called in asking about any possible price guarantee because a product I recently purchased had lowered in price by about $25 over the course of 2-3 days. He called back later that night and offered me the difference.

I was EXTREMELY pleased with the entire ordering process at PCAlchemy. Their website, pricing, shipping, and customer service are all top-notch. I will definitely do business with them again in the future.

Ordered a DVICO HDTV capture card and 2x512MB RAM. They claimed 2-day shipping, and that it would ship on the same day. They did exactly that; I received the goods 2 days later.  
 
Nice web frontend, inexpensive, and they sent me emails to inform me of my order status, as well as an email with my tracking number. Very satisfied, will order again.

Their site has been a good resource for PVR supplies. Everything I have needed is available at prices lower than other sites on the internet. Their support department is responsive and I even received a call to answer my questions. So far I have purchased SageTV, usb-uirt, wireless keyboard, slim DVD drive and a video card. All products worked perfectly.
