I purchased 3 Samsung phones for $49.99 with a $50 rebate in Jan 2007. One of the numbers was ported from my previous carrier and we were given 2 additional numbers. Neither of these numbers were valid and they could not be activated. Verizon was able to force activate one, but the other number was registered to another cutomer and they could not do anything about it. Spent 4 hours w/Verizon to get this far. Next day I called Wirefly and they said a new number will be given in 24 hours. Called the next day, no answer. Called 2 days later and the guy put me on hold for 30 min and said he'll check w/manager and call back. Never heard back. Called Verizon back to see if they could check status and after another 2-3 hrs with them and Wirefly, no solution. Internal conflict with Dealer Code, and warehouse mishandling. They blame each other and pass the buck. After total of 9-10 hours and three way conference call, we were finally given a valid number to be activated today. It has been 2 weeks since the phone had been ordered, and 10 days since they realized they messed up. I can't imagine what other nightmare I will have with the $50 rebate. Probably not worth the time and effort. Verizon should be ashamed to do business with such a shoddy company. For a company of Verizon's stature, sr management should ensure that a reseller representing their product and service be top knotch. Worst purchase experience ever. Promotion was good but ultimately they did not deliver "customer service" and neither did Verizon for that matter.

Everything went exceptionally smooth, although I didn't require customer service, nor did I risk a phone that required a rebate. From the other posts, it seems that rebates from WireFly are hit or miss. I had a good experience with WireFly, but WOULD NOT take a phone that left a large rebate out there hanging (see countless other posts on denied rebates). I had a completely automated and simple order, and had a good experience, despite being extremely skeptical prior ordering.

Miserable experience. Order processing was delayed, then the phone I ordered was not in stock. After two weeks, they shipped me the wrong phone without asking.
No customer service phone number or e-mail address is available on the whereismyorder.com website. After digging, I found a phone number on an unrelated web site. When I called in, they said the phone I ordered was out of stock, and so they had shipped me another instead. They were unable to ship me the correct phone - or even provide an estimate of when the phone would be in stock. They offered other phones, none of which were of interest.
Their solution was for me to refuse delivery of the package, and they offered to credit my account "5-7 business days" after it was returned to their warehouse. In addition, I was required to call the wireless carrier to cancel the contract.
I am currently awaiting delivery of the phone, and will update this review once the return and refund process is complete. This review was modified by its author, strayer27, on

Don't do it!!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone. I placed an order for 2 phones and wanted to import my current phone numbers.....they put through the transaction for 1 phone who's number ported and they emailed me saying to call since the other number would not port. I called and told them i did not want to complete the transaction unless both number sported. They went ahead with the transaction anyway. My phones were immediately disconnected leaving me with no cell phone for 5 days. I then had to go through my new carrier to try and get the number ported and working. This took at leat 3 days and at least 12 hours on the phone, back and forth between wirefly and alltel. It finally all went through.
Then i sent in the rebates. No problem with the first one. #2 rebate ok, filed 120 after the activation date-that's a headache in itself to try and keep track of....#3 rebate for $70---they only want to give me $30...no explanation. And #4 for $80, they say my service was disconnected. Baloney!!!!! I am still using the phone. I called the rebate center over 5 times and waited for 30-60 minutes with no answer. I finally got through today and the operator says she doesn't know why the rebate was denied and the other was reduced. said she would check with alltel to see if my plan was current and to check back in 2 weeks. talk about a headache...I waited just over the 180 days to file it...made copies of everything and am still having to go through this.
I would recommend skipping this company. I can't believe they are still in business.

THIS WAS THE BEST AND EASIEST PROCESS I HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH. THE CLARITY OF THE DIRECTIONS FOR TRACKING AND THE COMPANY LIVED UP TO THE COMMITMENT ON THE SHIPPING. I RECEIVED MY PHONE IN TWO DAYS AND ALL WENT WELL. I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED QUITE A FEW PEOPLE TO YOUR SERVICE.

Terrible, just terrible. Slow processing of order. Misinformative advertising. Phone cost was great, but support on device and customer service was NON EXISTANT. Expect NO help from them at ALL prior to sale. I would have rathered pay $100 more in store than purchase from them online however the plan I ordered was not available in stores. Avoid avoid avoid. Also, when you expect help from a sales rep inside a store and inform them of where you got the phone, expect them to tell you to call the people you bought it from. As I type this, I have been on hold for 36 minutes trying to straighten out the mess they made of my order. I can't stress enough how much you should avoid them

I was wary at first when I considered ordering from WireFly because of the complaints on the BBB website. However, it appears that most of the problems with WireFly stem from refunds. Because I ordered a phone with instand rebates, I only had to wait two days for my new service provider to approve me and then three days to actually get my phone. It is January 3rd and I recieved it today. Despite the holiday time period, they were still prompt and effective. If I ever switch service providers again or need to order another phone after my contract expires, I will certainly consider doing so through WireFly.

Superfast. Frankly, I did not expect to receive it the next day. I ordered the phones in the afternoon and got them the next day! Wow. Only thing: I had to adjust my address and the whereismyorder.com form did not work in Internet Explorer. I tried Firefox, and it did it. Love wirefly!

Wirefly is by far the easiest site to navigate, access to a wealth of information about the products offered. I purchased a cell phone for my daughter, and a second phone for my wife (as a direct result of the information acquired thru wirefly), also upgraded to a family "shared" plan with Cingular. The emails were timely, informative and courteous. The selection was far better than that of our local Cingular store, not to mention the prices!! Can I just say WOW and Thanks! Wirefly made it possible for my two best girls to have a very nice, camera phone, with lots of talk time + road side assistance at an affordable price. Which the peace of mind it gives me to know they can get access to help is of course priceless. I will return to Wirefly for any purchase related to cell phones and will continue to recommend Wirefly to everyone I speak with, as I think they are wonderfuL!
I reccommend using Wirefly to anyone enthusiastically & without hesitation or reservation. Thanking you again for providing excellent service.

I THOUGHT THE INTERNET PART OF ODERING WAS A LITTLE COMPLICATED ONLY BECAUSE WHEN OREDERING A PDA PHONE THE OPTIONS AND PLANS GET COMPLICATED. FOR INSTANCE WHEN I ADDED MY PHONE PLAN IT ADDED MY PHONE TO THE CART. tHEN WHEN I ADDED MY PDA SERVICE IT ADDED ANOTHER PHONE SO MY SHOPPING CART HAD 2 PHONES AND IT WAS TOUGH TO CLEAR THAT UP. IT WAS EASIER FOR ME TO ORDER BY PHONE THANKYOU.

Hi,
I like the service of wirefly, the customer service is great, I recommended all of my friends and relatives. Items sent as shown on the Web, The shipping is very fast, I bought two lines and the phones are activated before it reached my home, the package includes Phones, Blue tooth(s), Rebate forms and instruction guides, Great care has been taken when I called to make a purchase, All of my queries have been answered perfectly.
But the only one thing I am not happy was about porting my old wireless # to my new carrier. Wirefly told that they will take care of it, but till today after a week my OLD NUMBER is not yet transferred to my new phone, even though my contract was expired with old carrier long back.
After waiting for a week, I have to call my new carrier twice to transfer my old number, The new carrier has accepted my request and gave a ticket number of transfer.
I do not know whether WIREFLY has done the same for me to transfer my number???? If they take care of these kind of problems as well, then they are the best....
I would rate them 9 out of 10.
