This company was horrible, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I placed an order and the 2-3 day processing turned into a week. Now they keep telling me that the part is going to be shipped today, that was yesterday and still no shipping yet. THEY suck!

Very Poor company. I ordered a part that was "Available for next day shipping" and when I called to confirm my order, they told me it would be two weeks! So I cancelled immediately, but then just last week the parts arrived and I was billed! I refused the shipment, and now they still have yet to credit my account!

Ordered a audigy card, their "wonderful" tracking system showed that it would ship on the 28th even though their webpage says "usually ships next day". 28th comes and nothing has shipped yet, although they managed to charge my card on the 25th. So as it sits now they have my money and i don't even have a shipped product. I've emailed them twice now trying to find out if the card is out of stock or wtf is going on. And a second email after seeing their feedback here demanding for my order to be cancelled and my money refunded. Still no response.  
 
This place is crap, I don't think i've ever seen a place that charges your card before they ship or even have any intention of shipping. Currently i consider them as having stole my money, and will treat it as such if i don't hear back from them in the next day or two and will proceed with proper legal action.  
 
 
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE

I don't like their choice of using Airborne (although I've had my share of problems with UPS too), because my GF4 Ti4400 has been shipping for 5 days, and has yet to arrive, yet I'm in their 1-day ground delivery zone (I actually live about :30 from BuyXtremeGear by car). At first tracking just indicated 'in-transit' with no other details available. So I called Airborne, and they said there was a 'shipment error', and my package would arrive the next day by 5PM. When it was obvious that wouldn't happen, I checked tracking again. This time it didn't show up on Airborne's page, and BuyXtremeGear's tracking page wouldn't come up (and I hadn't saved the no.). So I called BuyXtremeGear and got my sales rep's. voice mail. I called back and asked for tracking information, and the girl there said that they don't have access to that, and I'd have to use the Internet to find it. After explaining that that wasn't possible, she asked me what I was clicking on, then she interrupted every one of my statements about how I was trying to access the info., making me think she wasn't listening, and acted like I was an idiot, even though I had selected all the correct options. She finally put me on hold, and came back with my 'shipper's reference number', which brought up a package that had been delivered in Hawaii; I'm in California. At this point my own experience dictated that I never buy from BuyXtremeGear again.  
 
So I tied Airborne again, and after being on hold for :15 I was told that they had no record of my package, and BuyXtremeGear had never actually shipped it. I reminded them that they had already said they had the package, and that there was a 'shipping error', and he said, "That's only a possibility." So I asked him if it was lost or stolen, and he put me on hold while he 'researched' the location of my missing GF4 Ti4400 (this info is on UPS' site, why not theirs?). He finally said it wasn't in Long Beach yet, and I'd just have to wait.  
 
It's clear that some vendors and shippers just can't get it right. I can't recommend that BuyXtremeGear, and Airborne Express ever be used by anyone, unless you enjoy a very frustrating experience. I have no confidence right now that I will ever receive my MSI Geforce 4 Ti4400.

THIS PLACE SUCKS ..... BELIEVE ME ...  
 
I placed an order two weeks ago, and they finally shipped it out today (or so they said). They wait until you buy from them to order the parts ..... VERY SKETCHY. They are very rude, and don't give a rats ass about the customer. Spend a little extra and buy from Newegg. I ordered from them last when buying all my parts, yet received the parts first. Now, that is a good company. BUYXTREMEGEAR SUCKS.

This company is pretty sketchy. Good prices on some things, but take a look at the other reviews on here! They suck. You know why? Because this company doesn't care about the people that buy from it. I e-mailed the company 3 times, and I never received a response. They think that just sending out the product and taking peoples money is good enough. It's not -- they need to get their act together, or they'll soon be "rotting in bankruptcy hell" as one of the earlier reviewers said.

I ordered MSI Geforce-4 Ti4400 video card from that site 06/26, despite the warnings of other customers. My order wasn't shipped because of different shipping and billing address. I got to know this not because of message from the company, because I call them to know about status of my order. When I told them this address added to my credit card info, they took the bank number. I think they suppose to check themself, not to wait my call. Even now, I was told that "your order going to be shipped tomorrow". And Airborn shipping, they sad, takes 5 b. days.  
Update: Call them yeasterday (07/02/02) again.  
I asked them if they have MSI Geforce4 Ti4400 video card in stock. They told me "Yes". After that I ask them about my order. They told me "in a few hours it's gonna be shipped". In a few hours I call them to know status and I got answer: "Backorder, not in stock". And I was asked if I like to cancel my order. I said: "Yes".  
After that I found with pricewatch.com another company with good price for video card "Antares Computing", NJ. The site of this vendor is new, you can make order only with a phone, but my order was shipped the same day, and next morning (today) I got tracking number. It's close to me, so it's gonna be delivered today.  
 
Never gonna buy from Buyxtremegear again. If you call them expect to wait 15-20 rings.  
And don't try to check your order status on line. Anyway it doesn't work.  
 
AVOID!

I bought a Chieftec 1040 clone from them. Their prices were competitive and the shipping wasn't that bad. I got the case in 4 business days because it had to travel coast to coast. The item was received in great condition and exactly as described. I just had one gripe about their customer service telephone system. I called from work and I got hung up on, probably by accident. However, when I tried calling back again and again, I kept getting a busy signal, prompting me to believe that my line and the entire office's lines were blocked. Once I got home, I gave them another all and low and behold, I got through. Overall good company.

I ordered the Leadtek Ti 4400 from their site. The information and picture was of the version with the nice, big aluminum heatsink. What I received was a Leadtek Ti 4400 but with just Nvidia's standard fan and NO large aluminum heatsink. When I went back to their site, they had fixed their ad and put the right picture in it but it was too late for me since I already received it. I contacted them on their info email to inform them that I was not happy with being mislead as to the product I was purchasing and I wanted a full refund or exchange for the product that was advertised when I made my purchase. I even sent them a screenshot of thier online receipt that has a picture of the product I thought I was ordering, then I asked for an RMA. I NEVER heard back from them. Buying from this company is like gambling - if you get the right product, lucky you, but if you get the wrong product based on misleading ad information -- YOU ARE SCREWED!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend that you buy from another reputable source even if it costs a few dollars more.

This place sucks. They have extremely terrible service. SHipping and handling is terrible. My friend didnt get his comp till like amonth after. It was suppose to come in a week. Also the company didnt notify my friend that his case was out of stock until like a week later

The CSRs were very rude. They increased the price of the item after I placed my order. They would not give me any information by email or over the phone. May they burn in bankrupt hell.
