Miserable experience, high pressure lying salesman (Mike)would lie to me about anything and threaten me with (illegal) fees they would charge to my credit card if I changed or withdrew my order. Then they have the nerve to insist you file a GOOD review on them on the web sites like this one. I was more than patient with this clown trying to work with him to complete this sale, but his strongarm tactics and lies became intolerable, and I had to cancel my order... and still he threatened to impose fees (claiming they already processed my credit card charge when I saw on my screen in real time that this was an outright lie to scare me into keeping the deal he was offering). When a salesmen lies and pressures you, then how can you believe anything he is telling you about his deal or his "great" warrantee he is selling you?

I received a call from Radioactive Deals the day after I placed my order for a digital camera. They tried to hard sell me several things some by frankly lying about the warrantee (said it was only 90 days when it is actually 1 year) and saying the battery was only good for 20 minutes. They said my order would be processed within 24 hours. I checked their web site daily for 10 days and it continued to say "in processing" I called them and was told the camera had to come from overseas and that it would be several weeks to receive my order. I cancelled my order at that time.

I would recommend EVERYONE staying FAR away from www.RadioActiveDeals.com
I recently ordered a digital camera from them online. Only to receive a follow-up call the next day trying to sell me “accessories”. After I was informed of how horrible the standard battery was, I was told I could purchase the nice one for only $80.00. Bill (x102) guaranteed me that I could not find it cheaper anywhere else.

I told Bill no, and said that if I purchased this item he would “expedite” my order into shipping. If I chose not to, it could take 7-10 days just to get my product out their doors. I finally gave in and agreed to pay the extra. He finished his conversation telling me that if I didn’t go to Shopping.com, BizRate.com, ResellerRatings.com, ShopCartUSA.com, and give him a GREAT review, he would “Come to MY HOME and take my camera back”!

When my package arrived (only a few days later than promised) I find that my special $80.00 battery was some no name brand, not the brand name I was promised. Now if this thing leaks in my camera it wouldn’t be covered under warranty, because it’s not made by the manufacturer! Just for the record, I found the manufactures brand “good” battery for $50.00 in multiple stores with free shipping!

So to Bill @ 1-866-526-8080 x102, I will definitely review you at all the sites mentioned in our conversation.

Radioactivedeals.com just sent me an email asking me to rate there service... they addressed me as "dear valued customer". That is the biggest joke EVER! I have had NOTHING but problems trying to get these people to ship my product to the address that i've listed. To be fair my shipping address differs from my billing address since I'm currently attending college, but so far I've spent a total of nearly 2 hours on the phone with radioactive deals and my bank trying to work out SOMETHING so that my product can be sent to me rather than to my home address (which is several HUNDRED miles away!!!). However, as the head sales manager so kindly ended our last conversation "this has a been a real inconvenience for me as well". What is THAT???!!! If your looking for customer service... look elsewhere!! I was VERY polite to everyone involved during each of our many conversations, but they were unwilling to accomodate my situation. The sales manager went so far as to say that "if nothing works out... well... sorry". That DOES NOT please me! I expect a company that is willing to work WITH me to solve whatever problems arise... and sadly I was VERY disappointed with radioactive deals. Hopefully the product will be worth the trouble!

Before making an order, I have seen several bad reviews about RadioActiveDeals. However, I still gave it a try. I ordered an Fuji Finepix S7000. In order notes, I told them I had seen those bad reviews and please don't do that to me. The next day I got an e-mail saying the product was in backorder and would take 4 to 6 weeks, so I cancelled the order. However, in the web site, it still showed available.

Do not purchase from radioactivedeas. The low prices are a fraud. Unless you purchase their inflated and unnecesary warranty and accessory packages, you will not receive your item.
They will tell you the product is in stock, and then call you the next day with a bogus excuse about a problem with your credit card. Then they apply high pressure sales tactics to get you to purchase the accessories and warranties. Let me tell you, these guys are rude, abnoxious, and overall unpleasant. If you refuse to purchase anything additional other than your product (in my case it was a digital camera), they will put you on hold for a minute, then come back on the line and SURPRISE, its on backorder with no available time frame for the next shipment.
Do not try and wait it out - it is futile. They couldn't care less. When you call them for a status report, they tell you to try and buy the product somewhere else - real class act this organization is...
Pay a fair price somewhere else and forget about these New York based, high pressure, unethical businesses which exploit people who have a difficult time saying NO to salesmen who pretend to have there best interest in mind while selling them products they don't want and most likely don't need.

The day or so after i placed my order for a Canon PowerShot S400 , a company rep called and told me that I needed more accessories with the camera in order to take more than a few pictures and some other drawbacks. I told him that I would like to have the camera and then if I decided that it was necessary, I would get back to him on the accessories. He then told me that the item was back ordered. I told him to go ahead, that I would wait. After 7 weeks, I was told that it was still on back order. I cancelled the order. I noted that on their web site, the Canon PowerShot S400 was featured as their number 1 attraction – at a lower price than what I had ordered it for. Strange for an item on back order, no?

SCAM ALERT!!!
Lowest price on the internet, free shipping, should have known it was too good to be true. When I declined the upselling offers, my order was placed suddenly on backorder and I was invited to cancel.
You must purchase extras which are overpriced.
The prices posted by this seller are not real.

This place tried to pull a total "bait-and-switch" on me. I ordered online and then got an email 2 days later saying there was a problem with my order, I should call this number. When I did, the man told me my order was set to ship today, as soon as he could verify my address and credit card, which I verified. He asked if I needed an rechargable batteries for the camera, which I said no, and then he told me the camera I had ordered which moments before was ready to ship today would not ship for 6-12 weeks because it was out of stock. Suddenly it seemed very much like all the call had done was verify that my credit card had in fact matched up with the proper billing information, like it was more like he was mining my personal data. The whole exchange seemed VERY unsavory and I canceled my order and my credit card. I called my bank and they agreed the transaction seemed sketchy and they too felt the card number was comprimised.

Great price. They then sent an email "We are attempting to contact you regarding your order. Please call us at 1-866-526-8080"
After three days of calling and leaving a message plus emailing all the address on their web site they finally called me back. They needed the verification code on my credit card (did ask for it on the web site order page?) And they tried to sell me some more stuff for the camera. This is a marketing trick!!! Even with their great prices I will take my business somewhere else.

Original order was not shipped as promised. Had to call Radioactive deals so order could be re-shipped.

Web site promised a free upgrade in shipment if American Express card was used. I used the card, the free shipment upgrade did not happen.

I really felt a little con'ed by this company. The camera that I purchased from them was listed at $250. Once I placed my order it was then listed at $309. I was then called by a sales person and ask to purchase several "accessory" items that I had already passed over when I purchased the camera on the website. I was then quoted a price that was $20+ too high. When I called the salesperson on this he stated that it was an accident and corrected it. I was then told that I could pay $37+ dollars more and get the US version of the camera? I still don't really know what that was all about. Looking at the listing that I ordered from there is no mention of a non-US version of the camera and the website is not from another contry according to the URL. I decided to go ahead and pay the extra to get the US version of the camera, but the whole deal seemed like it was one big attempt to get me to pay more that I thought I was. I ended up paying about $20 more than I would have had I bought it at the local Best Buy (though I am getting some extra batteries), but that is a far cry of a difference from when I started and I thought I was getting it for around $150 cheaper.

Would not recommend purchasing from them. I was overcharged, and lied about the warranty on the camera. They also tried to sell me everything they had on hand. All I wanted was the camera and it was hard to get the point across.
