I fully agree to what has been said by the other reviewers. They also called me to ask me to purchase an expensive battery for the digital camera. As I refused, they sent me an email saying that my camera was on back-order for 4-6 weeks.
Their behaviour over the phone was especially aggressive and unpleasant.
These guys are dirt like I've never seen before, and they even flaunt it!
I bought a Nikon 3700 camera from their web site. The salesman e-mailed me to call him, where he did the bait and switch. When I confirmed the sale with their saleman, Mike, x101, he informed me the battery and charger were not included. He then tried to pressure me into buying the battery and charger separately for 150 or so dollars. When I told him I would look for them locally, and asked that he just send me the camera, thinking he was just uninformed about the product contents, he announced to me that he would not sell me the camera unless I bought the battery separately. When I refused to be pressured into the sale, he announced he was cancelling my order.
When I asked him if he had heard of the Better Business Bureau, he said, "yes, I've got that number right here." The number he gave me was for a phone sex line.
I called back later to talk to management and got mike again. I had just downloaded their webpage to confirm that Mike was scamming me. He then told me that the battery and charger were not on the web page (I saved it as proof he was lying, but it was changed as soon as I noted it). I then asked him why he gave me the number for a phone sex line instead of the Better Business Bureau. He denied it, had me reread the number to him, and changed the last two digits. I called and the "new" number -- did not exist.
Radioactivedeals.com is not a reputable dealer. Their prices are not accurate, they are deceptive and manipulative. It's hard to believe that in 2004 there are people that conduct business this way. WARNING: To save yourself the hassle of a lifetime, to avoid being lied to, do not do business with these people: I tried to buy a Fuji S7000 on their very attractive web site. This was the beginning of a tense and unpleasant experience which begins with a "Call Mike" about your order. Thinking that their was a credit card problem, I called. What you then get is an earfull of pressure selling. When I politely declined everything offered, I was told that there would be a 4-6 week wait. Wow, it was available just a few minutes ago! I ended up buying the camera for a few dollars more at Costco: No hassle, and I had it in my hands in hours.

Everything you've read is true ... I wish I would have read these reviews first. Radioactivedeals.com is unethical, amoral, and oportunistic in every way.
I ordered an Olympus camera online, which was stated to be in-stock and at a price I couldn't beat anywhere AND free shipping! The next day I received an email asking me to call and "confirm" my order. wanting to receive my order right away, being a professional who depends on equipment for my work, I called right back. Let the scams commence. I was called for 2 reasons ... #1 To sell me additional peripheral items, which if I had wanted, I would have ordered (all at high mark-ups). This I overlook, because add-ons can be forgotten by customers and sometimes suggestions are helpful ... but 7 suggestions. #2 Lastly, as a 'by the way,' I was told (by Chris) that i had ordered an "International Model" rather than the US model of my camera and that it would require me to purchase additional cables, all of my instructions would be in Japanese only, and that service would require shipment overseas. Plus, it will take 3 weeks to ship. I stopped him to ask why the website never mentioned anything whatsoever (I brought up the page while on the phone to verify) about being an international model or about requiring additional cables. It also still said "in-stock." I claimed the site was misleading ... He said that "most of our customers already know this," suggesting that if I were a professional i would know this. Ridiculous claim! Deceptive and unethical! next he told me I could upgrade to the US model for $20 and that 3 were currently in stock AND he would upgrade shipping to 3-5 days. I asked why I should pay $20 extra for the same camera I had already ordered ... but since it was urgent to get my camera, I accepted under protest, fully intending to follow up with supervisors. Stupid! First it's called "Bait and Switch" AND it's ILLEGAL!!!
I wrote an email to feedback@radioactivedeals.com inquiring, politely, about my situation and noting that the online update had bumped by order total by $30, not $20. i requested a refund of all $30 since I felt their webiste was untruthful. 6 days later ... no camera, no response, website still says 'in process' oh, and 'in-stock' with no mention of "international.' I called the hotline to check status and was told that my order was on BACK-ORDER, that he has no idea when they'll receive another, and that there are SIX PEOPLE BEFORE ME! This man was very nice and clearly knew he was feeding me the company's unethical lies, but stuck to the stories. I canceled and stated my objections to their practices ... i told him that he should suggest his supervisors check out online reviews of their company. PATHETIC. PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED BY LOW PRICES!!! ALWAYS CHECK THIS SITE BEFORE ORDERING FROM A NEW VENDOR!!!!! AND REPORT ILLEGAL, UNETHICAL BUSINESSES. Radioactivedeals.com has be reported.
I was called after the sale and Bill tried to sell accessories to me but not with a lot of pressure. I asked if the camera was instock and I was told it was "in the warehouse." I refured additional items and the next day I got an email stating that the item was back ordered. I called Bill and asked about this. He told me that the warehouse was in JAPAN!!!! Sure would have been nice to have been told that the first time!!!!! I cancelled my order.

Had to make a phone call to finalize order, purpose of phone call was to sell me accessories. Salesman quite insistent. However, price on main unit couldn't be beaten anywhere.

DON’T BE A SUCKER! Radio Active Deals uses deceptive, hardcore sales practices by offering low prices on items which they will tell you (both through their web site then sales person and even supervisor) are in stock. They will then try to sell you “extras”- accessories which are no deal at all but is where they make their money. If you don’t bite - they won’t sell !
In my case I wanted the Nikon 8700 digital camera. I had been calling for over a week, tried again today and was told that they were in. I was skeptical. The salesperson said that he checked with the shipping dept. and his supervisor who both said that they came in yesterday and there were plenty. I placed the order after declining all the various add-ons . I got a quick email “confirmation” which stated that the item was back ordered 4-6 weeks. When I called back and asked for a supervisor I was told that supervisors don’t come to the phone and that I could only speak with another salesperson. There is no customer service number on the web site and they don’t want to hear about it anyway. When you call back to press them they lose your call or keep you on hold indefinitely. BUYER BEWARE !

Called in person to verify, in stock as website states, and included accessories, and one year warranty. Placed order online. Called later to sell me all this other junk at scam prices. When it was clear I only would buy camera, I was told it was out of stock and would not be in for weeks. even then it would not ship for 1-2 weeks after they came in. I have copies of all pages from their website to verify.
I will say that I got a good price at the time for a new digital camera itself. Be prepared, however, for a "used car salesman" fast talking approach to get you to buy all sorts of upgrades and extras. Some are priced well, others not. They will not relent until you buy the extra stuff. They also blantantly lied to me regarding policies. The salesman said I could "try" a special lens (priced $109) and return it for full refund if not totally satisfied. When I tried to return it, they would take it back but only give me $30 back for it. Half of my order arrived quickly, less than 1 week. But the other half (camera card and extra warranty) took well over 2 weeks. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
I bought a Sony TRV-70 (with several accessories that I think I needed). Their staff is very knowledgeable about the product and make proper recommendation based on my needs. Although he was pushing to sell more accessories (could be a scary experience for someone), but I feel that customer always has the rights to say "no thanks". So I don't really have problem with that. I've been shopping around for over 2 weeks, and found that their prices are much lower than other places. I don't mind dealing with sales people if can can get the best deal on the product.
The shipment arrived within a week in good condition. Camcorder is brand new in sealed box as advertised. As far as I'm concerned, this is a smooth transaction. I was very skeptical when I read a lot of negative feedbacks, but didn't want to pass up this great deal so I went ahead and made the purchase. I'll definitely check with them again when I need electronic goods. But if you have problem dealing with pushy sales people, I would recommend that you pay a little more for a peace of mind. :)

Only fools would deal with these people. Don't waist your time!! I ordered a Powershot s410 on 4/3/2004, and they said its back order for 3 weeks. I waited for over 3 weeks, and call to check on the status of my order; and the rep. said its back order for another 5 weeks. And he just cancelled my order with out asking me. I asked him "what camera do you have instock?" He said "we have only a few." and hangup. I think these people are in the business of collecting people's personal information and credit card number. I have reported them.
THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS, SCAMMERS & CHEATS!!
AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!!
The bait you with low prices then try to sell accessories. If you refuse suddenly the item is backordered. I received the correspondence below after refusing to buy anything extra. Meanwhile the item on the website continued to be listed as "in stock"
Once again AVOID THESE FU**ERS
