Ordering and order processing was very good -- it even arrived a day early. Unfortunately, my positive experience ended there.
They sent me the wrong item (an EZPass, I ordered an EZPass 3). They claimed they no long sold the EZPass, which is still for sale on their site as of this posting. The customer service agent was insulting and combative through the entire process. He only agreed to deal with me after I contacted my credit card company for a chargeback.

Unfortunately this is a large misunderstanding as to how things occurred.
The product you mistakenly received is something we no longer really stock, and is more of an on order type product, that is why it was quite odd that you received this in error, and that is why we had to investigate our stock situation on OUR side, so it took a day or two to figure this out, but in the meantime, I told Rick to do an RMA and unfortunately you perceived the RMA suggestion as a surrender to your chargeback threat, which is not the case.
Sorry for any problems, but we DID issue an RMA, and you've refused that and stated that you'll initiate a chargeback, which can take time and effort on both parties behalves. An RMA is easy, gets things taken care of faster, and would get you your product in a timely manner.
why not just do the RMA? we screwed up, we're trying to fix it... but you're not willing to cooperate |

big delay with customs in Indiana as the store claims, overall customer service is good and convenient, disapointed that no phone support is available.
Do not expect professional service from the agents, Kfree if full of lies and has twisted my review and logged tickets beyond belief of any respect. I'm not going to post the full review because they will just rebuttle again. Don't buy here if you're looking for service, cheap prices, great selection, shitty service, what can ya do. Thanks for losing me and all my DS owning buddies as customers, you won't see my account active anymore. good job buddy ;)
*update* I have had a previous problem with Xecuter modchip in the past where they let one model version slip through their product line and it did not properly fit my system, luckily I have a father who's good in electronics and fixed it up.
For the record, the admin Kfree, who replied to my complaint ticket, has promised to modify thier rating if I modified mine but obviously they lied and haven't done anything about it.

Customer was insisting on tracking # for the package that was held in customs (still is, actually), and we refused to give it to him (privacy issues). He did not believe it was a customs issue. As if we like to hold products out of stock to upset customers? That package is still in customs, we had to order another shipment to get our customers their products.
Be impressed, that your product was shipped ASAP, you've received numerous updates on its tracking, and you've had no problems with the ordering system. Unfortunately there was a delay in the stock, and it was unforseen by us and yourself.. customs sometimes holds packages indefinitely.. so instead of being ignorant, we were proactive and ORDERED MORE stock so that our customers were able to get their products as fast as possible.
be impressed... you'll rarely see anyone care as much as modchipman about the wellbeing of our customers and their orders.. we were CREATED by people who were screwed over by bad mod companies.. we make sure our customers get what they ask for, as fast as we can physically get it to them. :)
** UPDATE **
not sure what the customer is implying that we've lied or 'twisted the truth'.. that's the #1 reason we log all customer support tickets and questions, because sometimes customers get upset for no reason and tend to think things were stated or weren't stated, so we make sure we have proof. We don't change our text, we have no reason to do so. Why would we bend the truth on someone who wants to cancel? Nothing negative was stated in the customer ticket, he was very dissatisfied with the order in customs, (the shipment coming to us).. and we offered a cancellation.. he took it the wrong way and there you have it. Hopefully he's calmed down and realized we didn't mean anything bad by offering a cancellation.. we were merely attempting to resolve a problem. cheers

I recently purchased g6 lite and passkey 3 from modchipman.com This place is the quintescense of a model store. I think in the future for any console modifications i would buy only from this place. Besides the store's unbelievable fast shipping they possess a certain quality that is lacking in just about every place online and in person. This quality is the very special support that they offer. They repeatedly answer all the annoying questions over and over to newbies without hesitation. They also point you to read some very in depth tutorials on just about anything with ds you could have questions with.
With myself being a ds newbie i know i asked some annoying questions but i was carefully led to to certain decisions. They will help you, not spoon feed you. One of people who works for modchipman.com, he may even be the owner i am not sure, kfree, found on efnet, channel #ds , is the king of support and explanation. This does not mean to bother him with hundreds of idiotic questions, but you will at least be pointed in the right direction to find your answers. The price of items is very competitive as well. I give this place 10 stars out of 10. Thanks again for all your help modchipman.com, i will continue to purchase from you.

Ordered two EZ4-Lite development tools + 2 EZPASS 3 carts. Order was filled and shipped within 24 hours. Shipping estimate was 3 days, recieved it in 2. Absolutely no problems with this reseller, and will continue to shop with them as long as they continue have reasonable prices.
Highly recomended.

Amazing service and incredible follow up. Had some issues with my purchase (mostly user related) and I was able to get support and was given useful answers. Quick shipping and great attitude. Any questions were answered quickly and professionally. I will definately continue to shop with them.

this is my second time ordering something from the modchipman team and i am very satisfied both times, the first time the order took about 10 days cause of so many orders they had to deal with and they had to do an install on my product, but i'm glad it took as long as it did cause they did great work and the ps2 still works fine today, dont play it that much anymore cause of my 360 but still awesome qaulity, well worth the wait. my second order was one product and it came very quick. which was today but i wasnt home when fedex came so they left a note but thats my fault cause of that, but i'm positive the product will be flawless and if there is any problems i know they will be quick to take care of it cause they are a good qaulity store by all means. Thanks Guys! =)

Most reliable. Fast shipping. Chips are real deal and new. I've ordered both xbox and ps2 chips from modchipman. Never gotten a RMA then reshiped or bad flash chip from this store unlike some other "major resellers" when stock is low. Good customer service, quick responce, but never had to RMA any order. Will keep useing

Ordered 3 Xbox Pre-Mods and 2 Xecuter 3 CE modchips from ModChipMan. I was a little hesitant, since the order total was over $1k. However, I had quick replies to my pre-sale questions and constant communication throughout the ordering process. I was expecting a 2-3 week turn-around time, but to my surprise I received my Fed Ex tracking number a few days later and received my order 2 days after that! Everything was packed well (double boxed), except one pre-mod had a loose modchip -- though I recognized the problem right away and was easily fixable. Only one negative that I can come up with is that each pre-mod was missing the included Forza game that was stated on the website. However, since I don't really care for that game (not a racing fan) and have most of the games I play already, wasn't such a huge deal. Overall, great service and turn around time on pre-mods and great service! Tempted to order another pre-mod from them soon, w/ a bigger HD and more extras!
