The computer arrived when it was supposed to, and I had no problem with back orders I've heard about from other customers. The PC works great, and looks awesome too. It is almost completely silent, and runs incredibly fast. My last computer was no comparison. I will definitely buy from CyberPower the next time I get a PC, which will probably be a while considering how good this one is.

I have no complaints, I found the computer I wanted at a great price, it arrived before the expected date and worked perfectly right out of the box. I had a question about a possible build before purchasing, and their phone associate was very helpful. This is my second time ordering from CyberPower PC. The first time was also a wonderful experience. In fact, my previous purchase arrived a full week before the expected arrival date, and it was during the holiday season!

I've owned my computer for 2 months now and it's still going strong. it gets a weekly workout of WOW and other games and no troubles what so ever.
I was completely blown away by every phase of this transaction.
The price which was unbeatable. Everything was packaged and shipped so carefully. The interior of the computer was so well organized (wires all tucked away and such providing excellent air flow). Just Vista x64 was installed. No junkie trial ware to have to remove was a huge plus.
An absolute joy to do business with your company and you can be sure that I will buy my next computer from you when the time comes. Thank you again for a wonderful product and experience!

p.s.: i did call their tech support during the set up as i was blind and didn't see the windows authentication sticker on the side of my machine (doh!) they picked up the phone for me on the 2nd ring and didn't point out that i was a blind idiot. very professional, very good.
p.p.s: as far as the negative comments; give them a chance to right any wrongs before posting that they suck. almost every reply of theirs indicates that they were unaware of the situation or already in process to rectify the matter. i scanned all the reviews on newegg and cyberpowerpc.com before purchasing and yes there are negatives as there are here, but the number of positive experiences far out numbers the negatives. they are worth checking out.

I ordered the Howie's Dream (plus a few extras)about a month ago and absolutely love the system. My main need was to hold down cost without compromising performance and upgradeability. A success on both! I was concerned ordering my system, but after researching on my own, balancing all customer reviews and reading what the industry said, I decided to take the plunge. I couldn't be happier up to now. If things change I'll edit this.
Reading other reviews, I never had any problems contacting CyberPower via phone nor e-mail. The only issue I had was dealing with a rebate and I needed a UPC to get said rebate. One phone call was all I needed and I received a UPC in the mail about 5 days later. Stellar service in my book.
Again, if things change I'll edit this posting. As of now I would buy another system from CyberPower (I'm looking for a laptop for my daughter as a matter of fact) and recommend all who are shopping to consider coming here.

I have been building my own gaming rigs for years. Never again! I recently purchased a BEAST of a rig from CyberPower PC.
After carefully researching exactly what the parts would cost, and factoring in my time to build said pc -vs- just ordering the finished product, I decided to give CyberPower a shot. I gotta tell ya, I'm glad I did :)
I hate to say it, but they did a far better job in wiring the system then I have ever done before, and I tend to crazy about neatness too.
All in all I couldn't be more pleased. If you are on the fence, give em a shot. I'm telling ya, you will be glad you did!

I purchased a customized Gamer Xtreme XT. I had been planning on building my own system, it used to be cheaper to do it yourself. I did quite a bit of research and found that if I bought all the parts myself (most priced from Newegg.com) It would cost me over $1600 to buy the components. I would still have to assemble it. My build from Cyberpower cost me exactly $1300. Quite a bit of a savings and no work on my part. The parts were all quality, name brand parts.
The order process went well. Some minor issues with having the PC shipped to a location that was different from my home. But all in all, it went pretty smoothly. I received my PC 19 days after I ordered it. Which is basically when they promised it to me. The computer works great so far.
I have run the IT department for a small company of 40 computers for 15 years. I am not a novice when it comes to computers. I have not had to deal with Cyberpower's support department so I cannot comment on the problems others have had, but I can say that they supplied me a computer exactly as I ordered it, in the time I was promised. The computer is well made, the parts are exactly the quality parts they advertise and the price was excellent! I have been so impressed that today I am helping a friend order almost the same gaming computer for herself. I am expecting her to have the same experience that I have had.

This review can be pretty short. I placed the order and the computer showed up a couple of days ahead of schedule. The computer was as expected.
Nothing exciting, which was exactly what I wanted.
The main reason I have my machines made by people like Cyberpower is that I have control over what goes inside. I slipped on my previous machine and bought a HP "media center". On boot, I found it had about 30 BS programs installed. And then when I tried to install a video card, I found it had a 250 watt power supply that was too small to power a card. With Cyberpower, there is nothing in the machine that I don't know about and want.

I am a university professor and ordered from here from my lab. This is not a reputable company and I now realize that saving a few percent on the purchase price is not worthwhile. I don't usually write reviews, but I think it's prudent to caution people about this company. My computer was received with a broken cooling unit. I paid to have a rush build and rush delivery on the system--2 separate charges. They refused any compensation for the rush charges that I paid for, yet I had to wait weeks to use the computer out of no fault of my own. Secondly, they never mailed a component that I ordered. After finally getting through (the company rarely answers the phone during business hours) I was told it was on back order and I should have it next week. That was probably 6 weeks ago. I haven't heard anything from them since.
With this company, you save a little, but if anything goes wrong, you pay a lot. Buyer beware. This review was modified by its author, savana, on

Upon reviewing the order, the computer was assembled in 3 days, as the customer requested and was shipped out using the shipping method that was selected. The day the customer received the computer, he did contact us to inform us of the damaged cooling fan. The issue was rectified by CyberPower sending out a replacement cooling fan to the customer, at no additional charge. In regards to the missing item, the part just came in stock last week and has already been shipped out and should be delivered to the customer today. We encourage the customer to please contact us, for service, if there should be any further issues with the computer that need to be addressed. |

I ordered the Gamer Xtreme 4000 on 9/22 and the machine was ready for pickup on 9/30. I refitted the build for 8GB ram and a Geforce 275 GTX instead of the Radeon 4890. Checked all the free games boxes and Win7 coupons, and also got a MS intellimouse.
Decent turn-around time for a custom PC.
The sales rep was responsive to my questions, however, I did have a slight issue with phone support prior to ordering the PC. When I called during business hours, I waited for 10 minutes and there was no answer (besides the automated voice that tells you to wait). At this point, this is a minor issue because all my questions were answered via email, but it could be a potential problem if I need support later on.
Windows Vista 64 DVD was on backorder when I picked up the computer. A nice young lady at the front desk confirmed my order, and explained that they would ship the Vista disc to me, which I received yesterday 10/6/09. Everything else on the invoice was included, no mistakes (the guy who brought the pc out to me in the rear of the building at shipping, was really nice and opened the boxes for me to verify all the components were there.)
When I got home, I did a visual inspection on the internal hardware. The wires were tied back neatly and did not constrict airflow. 4 sticks of 2gb ram were seated properly, asetek liquid cooling mounted properly, evga geforce 275 as the invoice said (I was a little nervous about the vid card because they wouldn't tell me what brand I was getting until I got my invoice), seagate 1tb hdd, and dvd drive were all installed properly.
There was a minor paint scratch on the back of the case near the bottom, but that's forgiveable. All-in-all the build seems very professional.
I powered the system on and Vista prompted me for a product key. The product key sticker was on the side of the case. Entered the key and was able to log into windows. All essential drivers (mobo chipset, sound, video, ethernet) were already installed for me.
I use the PC on a daily basis and play some fairly 3D graphics intensive games such as Fear2, Aion, Wow, L4D, and some other Half life2 mods. So far so good, no major issues. I have to manually set the vid card fan speed to a higher speed, but this is more of an evga problem with their drivers/firmware not supporting automatic fanspeed. (evga precision does have an auto fan speed setting but all it does is set the speed to 40% and does not auto adjust to GPU temp).
Thus far, I give these guys good scores on product and service.
If any issues come up later , I will edit this post to let everyone know.

It is most unfortunate that Rob B Flow received the computer in a non-functional condition and has already made the decision to get a refund. Please be aware that he does have the option to return the computer to us for warranty repair and we will cover all shipping charges, or do advance replacements on defective parts. Should he still rather get a refund for the computer, this option is available to him. However, the original shipping cost is non-refundable and he will be responsible for covering all shipping charges to bring the computer back to us. |

The worse computer I have ever used. These guys suck. For you to have to pay shipping on a defective product is bullshit and bad business practice. I spent over 2,000 dollars on a machine that’s pretty much worthless. Their customer service is nonexistent. There’s no one there to answer the phone and when you are connected you have to wait on hold for two hours. I ended up taking the computer to Best Buy to have the Geek Squad look at it and they said the motherboard was incompatible with some of my hardware. These guys absolutely do not know how to build computers. The only choice I’m left with now is to strip it apart and sell the components on eBay to recover some of my tremendous loss. STAY AWAY FROM Cyberpower!!!!!! You will get burned. I think these dudes are just a bunch of eight graders working in their mom’s garage. (Go with HP or Dell great costumer support.)Or if you have the cash Mac.
By the way I’m a radio DJ in a top 20 market and I try to slam these guys on the air any chance I get..They are a joke.

I have looked at systems from Cyberpowerpc before but this is the first time I purchased. We configured a system for my son. We made one error in the configuration which the sales staff caught, called me the next day, and we were able to make the change. The equipment was well built and well packaged for shipping safely. Upon arrival everything worked great. In fact my son has yet to find a game that won't run full speed with all the graphics options at maximum! I have no problems recommending the store for folks who are looking for high quality systems at a decent price. From a personal standpoint if they had the option of none-gamer orientated cases (i.e. a nice simple case that would not look out of place in a home office) I would probably purchase a second system for myself.
