I have had the best experiance ever in purchasing a computer! I was sceptical because I've never purchased anything over the internet. You see I had a "must see it" before buy it mentality. I was further conserned about damage during shipping and how I would return the product if I did not like it. Well things were great! I got exactly what I asked for and recieved it early!

I could not be happier with this machine and the purchase process. Everything has been flawless except for the floppy not being hooked up, I did see the UPS driver drop the case a bit down the steps of his van. Who needs a floppy anymore anyway, it will stay unhooked. I was amazed on how beautiful the machine is. It is so so so so fast, course I upgraded from a PII. Cyberpower totally kicks butt. I paid 1000 bucks less for a similiar machine at Dell, plus they do not have the looks. Thank you Cyberpower!!!

I ordered my PC during their July 4th special for free shipping. Their prices were already the best then that special convinced me to make my purchase. I was able to configure the PC to my likings and was not limited on my choices like i was at Dell and Gateway. Well 2 weeks later my PC arrived a few days earlier than expected and i unpavked and everything was there as I had ordered it. But anyone new to PC's beware setup instructions are non-existant, but other than that thi scompany is a great company I love my new PC and would recomend any experienced PC user to buy from this company.

At first I was a bit skeptic about purchasing from cyberpower, due to some of the negative reviews, but the price was what I was worried about. And since cyberpower had a computer in my price range I decided to buy it. I purchased the dv system (mega special II). It took about three weeks to recieve it which, was a long time to wait, but I really didn't care. The customer service was great. I called almost every day and all my questions were answered. Finally, I recieved my pc. Everything was there i.e. moniter, speakers, etc. The only problem was my cdrw did not work and neither did my built in thermometer(x-dreamer case). Therefore, I found myself opening the pc. I have some novice knowledge about PCs, but I was able to get everything working, by studying the wires and just connecting them. This type of thing always happens when you ship UPS. Anyways, its been a week and so far so good. I am a person who doesn't overclock, so I think i'll be ok. Anyways,I would recommened this company to anyone who wants a decent pc for a great price. I give them 8.5/10. Just, make sure you aren't a newbee and have a little knowledge about PCs. That way if something goes wrong you won't have to send it back each time. This review was modified by its author, koolkat, on

Update:12-5-03
I've had my pc for more than 4 months now. I must say it works great. Ran into a few HD problems, but those were my fault. I called them and they gave me a new one no questions asked. Also, I went to Alienware.com and did a system comparison test, thanks to FutureMark. Turns out my system that I bought for $1,000 + $250(shipping) outperfroms the Aurora Performance($1,526) and the Area 51 Performance($1,541). How's that for a pc. This company is a must for anyone looking for great performance at a great price!
I had purchased this system without reading any reviews. During my daily internet exploring I stumbled onto this website and read some reviews for Cyberpower. Lets just say I was ready to cancel my order, but I decided not to. I thought hey, if I don't like it i'll return it. Well, after about three weeks, which was a few days over the expected ship date, my computer arrived. It looked great. I hooked it up which was not a problem and started up the system. Everything seemed to work. The only problem was the cdrw did not work and neither did my built in thermometer(X-Dreamer case). It probably got loose while being shipped. So, I opened the case, which was a breaze and all I did was connect the wires that were loose and looked like they go together and it all worked. I called the company about 10 times before my computer arrived and called the technical support 2 times all of which I had no problems with. I never had to wait more than a few minutes and the everyone was friendly and answered my questions. Overall, I think the company does a great job building systems and offers great prices. There have been no problems with my system so far and I doubt there will be. I give Cyberpowerinc. 8.5/10 and I recommened buying this system if you want to save some many, but it is best to buy it if you have some computer skills just in case something isn't connected or there is a minor problem that way you can do it yourself instead of shipping it back to the company. I ordered a pretty basic unit--AMD ATHLON XP-2500 with 512MB memory. The unit arrived a week(!) earlier than expected, considering the advertised 5 working day assembly period and the projected time in transit. I installed a SCSI card and used it in conjunction with a large scanner to preserve a record of my great grandmother's collection of advertising picture cards. The resulting job was 1.4GB. The unit performed flawlessly in the Windows XP SCSI environment and handled this large job without a problem. Before selecting CyberPower PC, I comparison shopped at my favorite used PC resellers for a unit that might be beefed up to handle the job described above. I found it was cheaper to order a new PC from CyberPower than it was to rehabilitate an old unit! Thanks to my boss for recommending this company. For its low prices and speedy service, I highly recommend CyberPower PC to all who are considering a PC purchase. With this competition, I don't know how the used PC sales companies are going to stay in business!

Excellent service and product as promised. Not needing handholding, I would order again.
Only problems were minor - no audio cable from DVD drive and hard disk LED cable reversed so LED didn't light. Only gripe was preloading of obnoxious commercial software such as MSN butterfly, McAfee trial version, etc.

My recent purchase of the titanium gamer PC from Cyberpower went quite well. The machine arrived two days early, all of the corect items were shipped, there was no damage at all to the parcels (due to cyber power's use of airborne exp. instead of UPS or Fedex whos brutality is legendary), and most important of all, the PC, monitor, and speakers work the exact way they should. I was quite surprised to see the case was as tall as a german shepherd but with 7 internal fans and lots of airspace provided by the lofty case, I think I could run this machine in the mohave and it wouldn't overheat. So far I'm very pleased with my purchase from this company. Would recomend to anyone looking to save a buck or two. This review was modified by its author, MightyCholin, on

I was nervous when I read other reviews of this company. They beat the next closest price for a similar AMD system by close to $1000 so I thought it worth the risk. I was pleasantly surprised. My saleswoman Angela was polite and informative on all 10+ times I talked to her, even personally checking my burn in tests. The computer was sent three days late, but came with two network cards (I forgot to purchase one) and round rather than ribbon cables (which I also forgot). It is quieter, more stable and faster than other similar systems (large family of computer gamers) and arrived with backup CDs for all software (very unusual, lately). I also liked having the motherboard box with a manual shipped as someday I may want to build my own computer and CyberPower has helped me immensely with all the info supplied. The power supply was dislodged during shipping (a common complaint) but I had no trouble with support and fixed it in seconds. Thanks, CyberPower, I will recommend you. Ken K.

Repeat customer. I only order computers from Cyberpower now, and have been doing so for years. They build them exactly how I want them. I've never had any problems with the ordering experience, or with the product.

I ordered online. It was processed efficently. I went with their standard 5 day build time and then 3 day shipping. I received my computer on time, with all the components I ordered.
But when I did order, I was given a very good selection of Mother Boards to choose from, as with the other major compenents too. Price matters, but I have to have quality and CyberPower met me on both issues. Having spent 30 days shopping online, and traveling to stores (I live in Silicon Valley so there are plenty of stores), I made my decision, and CyberPower was my choice. Was anybody close? Yes, but always with a difference I didn't like, and no way to upgrade without spending more money, and have an exra component I didn't need, such as: a hard drive that had 5400 rpm instead of the 7200 rpm I wanted (and 8mb of cache too!); or a cheap motherboard with one pci expansion slot; or a generic beige case with little or no room for expansion. So CyberPower, based on the components I wanted, got my order.
What about build quality and performance? On these two issues, Cyberpower met my expectations and then went beyond my expectations. The build quality on my computer is closer to a custom gamer computer costing $1500 or more (I know, I looked at them too!). Everything is neat and tidy, plenty of space for future up-grades too!
Performance is fast, like I expected.
I would recommend CyberPower to anyone looking to get top quality components, excellent build quality, and it performs right out of the box.
