I am writing this a few days after receiving my new CyberPower PC. It looks great and it plays great. So I am filled with the initial euphoria that often accompanies seemingly good products. Maybe after a few months, or after a couple of years, I will feel differently.  
 
I bought the Gamer Infinity 8800ProSE, but don't focus on the name. The unit is customizable. I had CyberPower replace a large 7200RPM hard drive with a smaller but faster WD VelociRaptor turning at 10,000RPM. And they replaced the default ATI video card with an NVidia GTX 295, more expensive, but faster. Other impressive components include an Intel i975 Extreme Edition CPU with liquid cooling, 6GB of DDR3 memory, and a Lite-On Blu-Ray DVD player.  
 
I did not put the high-def sound to test. After uninstalling the RealTek drivers and disabling the onboard sound, I transferred a Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme Gamer that I had been using with my old PC. I doubt that ANY onboard sound can equal its quality. But keep in mind that this is not a complaint. I have RealTek on a laptop, and it IS good sound. CyberPower keeps its retail price down by excluding a soundcard from its default configuration. That's a good thing.  
 
The network adapter works quite well and is speedy with the Siemens SpeedStream 4100 DSL modem that I use with AT&T Yahoo! Though I have no use for it, a PCI wireless card and an attachable antenna are also included.  
 
Refreshingly new for me, and perhaps most impressive of all the components, are the case and the fans. A huge fan on the side, a huge fan on the top, which is ventilated (something I have never seen before), and two big fans on the front, make the interior of my new PC seem like the windy city of Chicago. And all the fans have electric-blue lighting that goes well with the case's black color.  
 
I had reservations about only one thing: the power supply unit. I live in downtown Los Angeles in a room without air conditioning. Over the last few years I have had two power-supply units fail because, I believe, of overheating. I replaced them both with dependable PSUs made by PC Power & Cooling. (Their fans turn at an exceptionally high speed, which keeps their PSUs from overheating and which gives them a long lifespan in hot temperatures.) CyberPower did not give me the option of replacing their 800-watt PSU with one from PC Power & Cooling. But to be fair, only time will tell whether or not CyberPower's PSU can endure.  

I got exactly what I asked for and it was here exremely fast. I have always purchased pre-built computers. There has always been something about them that I would have changed if I had had it built myself. Configuring my own computer was a wonderful experience. CyberpowerPC made it easy and I loved the amount of options made available to me. I could go as cheap or expensive as I wanted with no sales people telling me I need this or don't need that. I could pick and choose at my own rate and go back and change whatever I wanted because I can save my configuration. So far this system is everything I asked for. No problems whatsoever. My daughter has worked for a major electronics chain for many years. She said that this is much more of a system for the price than anything they had. She says there is no way they could compete even with her employee discount.  

Ordered two computers from cyberpowerpc. Extremely happy with customer service and product! Definately recommend to others.

CyberPower PC provides convenient purchases as well as use of their website. They stand behind their products and provide efficacy. I would definitely recommend for future computer purchases.

I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The computer runs great and is very capable. I purchased a Zalman-2000 cooler for it which is a great addition, since I run it all day. Runs cool and quiet. All in all am very pleased with Cyberpower. They were helpful over the telephone and the product was delivered on-time, at a great price. I will buy all of my computers from them and am looking forward to my next purchase.

Very pleased with my purchase, however I made my purchase at the start of the school year and Cyberpower was a little late on the build and shipping and there were some parts unavilable which slowed my order.

Really a great place to buy a computer and fun tool. You pick all the parts...case, MB, Memory, Video Card Etc and then Cyberpower builds it. They did an excellent job on my computer. It was everything I picked and worked great out of the box. They even let me change some things over the phone with their great customer service. The shipping was fast and on time. I will for now on use Cyberpower PC to build all my future computers. Thanks for a great experience Cyberpower!

Fantastic machine. Came extremely well packaged, everything was in nicely put in places inside of the computer, and above all, everything worked. I have used my new computer on a daily basis since it arrived, and there have been absolutely no problems with it. It arrived on time and looked like it had been treated with absolute care. I will definitely be doing any future business with CyberPower.

Great company this is my 3rd computer I bought from CP and will not be my last ...astrid was a great customer rep and she helped me upgrade my card from a 285GTX to a 5870 which just came out she gets a 10+ from me !!! just kind of bummed becuse I havent heard anything about my rebate for get the windows upgrade yet :( ....guess i will just need to call to check into it.

This is the 3rd system I've purchased from CyberPower... I've always had good, prompt service both technical and customer. I've recommended CyberPower to friends and bought a system from them for my sons. No complaints, no problems getting help when problems arise. Good job overall.

I ordered my computer on 10/27/2009 and received it on 11/02/2009. The computer came to me via UPS in a well packed box. I opened up the computer and inspected all componets and found everything that I ordered. I paid for the custom wiring and they did an outstanding job. The only thing is they tied some of the wiring to the removable HD rack.. I would have to cut the ties to get the rack out. NO Biggy! Still an outstanding job on the wiring.  
 
When I removed the case from the box I heard a ratteling sound coming from the top of the case. I had to take apart the case top and what I found was a screw!! Quality control or the packing department should have noticed the rattle!!  
 
I have been running the computer 24/7 since 11/2/2009. It is very quite and have had no problems with any of the componets. So far all my applciations are runnig at top speed.  
 
I have had no communcitions with Cyberpower other than placing the order online. Received an email that they recieved the order. Went online and followed the progress. I found their pricing to be very competitive and their componet selection was great.  

One great machine. Runs programs smooth and fast. Runs the game programs with no problems at all. Plus with the purchase, they gave me a coupon for windows 7 at no cost to me. I went online and was able to put it though with no problems. The tower and monitor looks great and when the tower is turned on you can see the inside of the computer light up, looks awesome, like it is alive. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a computer, it is easy to build it the way that you want and is tested and delivered fast.

This was one of the first Windows 7 builds, so perfection was not expected. However, the only issue was a sound driver, which was fixed by an automated update download, and the system worked flawlessly.  
 
Cyberpower has a site that allows you to customize various builds until you find the optimal configuration for you and your budget.  
 
This is our family's second purchase from them, and although this is a very early report on the second unit, they appear to be the 2 best computers we have ever owned.  
 
Cyberpower really delivers on value.

Honestly the entire time I was waiting for my PC I was really nervous because of the reviews I had read. I ordered my computer on the 20th of October and it got here on the 5th of November so that's not bad, about what I expected. When I got the computer it was packed really nice(foam in the computer compartment molded to protect the innards from shifting, and everything was installed fine.  
I replaced the power supply with my better one, and installed a DVD burner that I didn't have them install to lower the price. I then did a thorough inspection, tightening every screw, making sure all cards were seated properly etc. Basically made sure that every thing was exactly how I would have put together the computer. I turned it on after this process and viewed the temps of the CPU to make sure my heatsink was properly placed and the temps were cooler than I ever expected, approximately 78F.  
After feeling comfortable, I inserted my Windows 7 disc and did a clean install that went great. Everything seems to be working great now and I'll be keeping an eye on it for changes. It is my belief that when ordering from cyberpowerpc there is a chance that you will get garbage if you don't know what you are putting in your computer.  
Have someone who knows name brand products configure your PC to avoid poor quality hardware. Then when it arrives inspect and reseat all hardware like I said I did above. I think I would honestly do business with these guys again, you just have to make sure you know what you are having them put in you computer and should do a thorough quality control when you recieve it.  
Hope this helps put someone at ease, because if you are careful your experience with cyberpowerpc.com can be a good one like mine.  
 
 
 
PS I haven't had any problems yet, but I've found that my RAM is a brand called V-Color. I don't know how they will perform but if any problems arise I'll be sure to update this review. Also, unless the builders know something I don't, when you get your computer make sure you reconfigure your RAM for dual channel if they are not in the right DIMM slots. That's all for now.
